"Mm." Allen voices, removing his arm to lift his head, "Thanks, but I'm fine, I took some not too long ago. I was just waiting for it to kick in." He shoots Dark a quick smile and a thumb up then turns to Maddy, "Well, whenever you go, I'm up to go with ya, if you'd have the company." He shrugged.

Maddy nodded. "Okay then. Let's go."
She made her way to the exit and out onto the beach. It was a nice, clear day. She breathed in deeply, allowing the fresh air to fill her lungs.

Allen followed out, letting the nice day actually lift his mood a bit. In fact, he ended up deciding let let a few Pokemon out of their capsules for a while. It wouldn't hurt, surely. His Seviper, Banette, and Frogadier all came out onto the beach. Lynda took a place on Allen's shoulder, and Dolstro hopped up on Andron's back.

Dark steps out with Maddy also enjoying the fresh air.
"Wow what a nice day." He says before realizing what he said. He can see a dark storm in the distance, in the direction of where the legendary Pokemon are.

Maddy seen the storm as well. She pointed towards Mt.Pyre.
"Looks like they're getting snow over there." She noted, walking through the streets of Lilycove City.

Kyogre and Groudon really were causing massive ruckus. He chuckled as a thought came to mind, "As old as they are, they're fighting like children." Of course, the same could be said for other species of Pokemon, like Seviper and Zangoose. Seemed like a childish feud, something with no real reason behind it. "Of course, this feud has devastating consequences." He brought his own mood down again.

"Chin up Allen, they won't be at it for long." Dark says as he pulls his sunglasses from his pocket. He then sends out his Kirlia. "Misery, my coat?"
She sighs and snaps her fingers. A long coat with a large collar appears on Dark.
"I missed you coat." Dark mumbles as he recalls his Pokemon. He then begins following Maddy. "Are you gonna ask the couple about the orbs?"

Maddy shook her head.
"Nope, just one Orb."
They were outside of Lilycove City now. The air was steadily becoming colder, and a light snow began to fall. She shivered slightly. It didn't occur to her to dress warmer, but she wore a tank top literally everywhere she went.

Allen reached a hand out, a little snowflake landing in his palm and instantly melting to make a little water drop. He stared for a moment and looked up at the sky. Effects of the two legends, for sure. He looked to Dark, "Are you sure? They looked pretty into it from my perspective." He raised an eyebrow. Then looked back to Maddy, "One Orb?"

"Which orb?" Dark asks, wondering if she wanted to stop one or the other. "And I don't mean that they're gonna give up. We're gonna stop em." He grins and punches one of his hands into the palm of the other. "We'll find a way."
He looks up to the sky to watch the snow. "Reminds me of one of my missions back in Snowpoint City..."

"If my research is correct, the Green Orb."
They came up to the vast lake that Mt.Pyre resided in the middle of. It was completely frozen over. A few Ducklett and Swanna were trapped in the ice a few metres out. They were quacking in distress and trying to free themselves, obviously frightened by the situation.
Maddy frowned sadly. "We should help them."
Picking up a nearby rock (the cold surface of it making her bare hands protest in agony), she threw it as hard as she could at the ice to test it's thickness. The rock barely left a scratch on the ice. Convinced it was safe enough to stand on, she made her way out onto the icy surface.
"Let out a Fire Pokemon if you have one. They have naturally higher body temps. If we place them near those stuck Pokemon, the ice may melt enough for them to break free."
She let out her Fletchinder as they neared the frozen duck Pokemon.

Dark sends out his Monferno who then stands beside a bunch of Ducklette. Dark walks over to his Pokemon, but a Swana starts pecking and hocking at him. It quickly receives a punch in the neck.
"Stupid Swana." Dark mutters as he helps free the little Ducklettes.

Allen quickly lets out his Volcarona, while simultaneously returning Dolstro and Andron because of the temperature. Andron especially, being a cold blooded Pokemon. Ubella, the Volcarona, flew out near one of the Swanna, warming the ice a lot.

Maddy's Fletchinder flew over and sat near all the other Pokemon. Slowly but surely, steam began to appear as the ice slowly melted away. The ducks wiggled themselves free, quacked at the trainers and their Pokemon in thanks, and flew off.
"This weather does way more than just affect us humans." She said, returning her own bird Pokemon. "Let's press onward."
She began to cross the rest of the lake, slipping and losing her footing occasionally.
