 Just as soon as she had felt the ball in her hand it was taken from her. Where did Remy come from? that was the question Vanessa asked herself quickly and she turned around to follow. It was almost like deja vu; wasn't he the one she was neck and neck with two years ago, and had lost to? She couldn't focus on that, she narrowed her vision as she inched closer to the snitch.

He barely had time to wince and prepare himself for the blow, he shielded his rib cage, just barely, and rebounded the bludger off his left bay. Growling, he decided to keep to the offensive to not allow the impairments opponents much time to attack. Stretched arm and rippling muscles struck the bludger he chased and sent it straight for Teyve.

Ronyo Storm - Slytherin
Seventh Year
Quidditch Pitch/ Match Ronyo saw it after his shot towards the keeper, the block of Dom's try and then the two seekers locked in a chase. Ronyo was not going to let this bet the end of it, he was going to do what he could to put the balance of play on their side. He had to trust Vanessa would take care of the quaffle and get a goal before Belle got the snitch. With that he streaked out and up heading for the two seekers locked in a race for the golden orb knowing that it could come down to any number of things at this point. He passed a bludger as he climbed the skies and brought his bat to bare. Ronyo moved just to the side and hit the bludger with a powerful but sideways blow that sent the orb hurtling in a curse towards Sam. It was a shot he did not use often as it hurt when someone ended up getting hit by it, but the shot was also wild and had a chance to only graze the target. Ronyo had to press the attack and lower the Gryffindor seekers chances at making the catch. Life: 1, 2, 3 ______________________________________________________________

Vanessa had missed the steal, but so did Eretria so she didn't feel quite as badly. She quickly shook the miss off and looked over the pitch, so far neither of the seekers had caught sight of the snitch but that could change at a moment. The chasers themselves were close to the goals, it was one of the last chances to steal or hope that Jamine would be able to block. Taking another deep breathe she stretched out hre hand wanting to feel the quaffle under her gloves. As much as she disliked them, Jasmine had to respect the fact that they were worthy opponents. They made the game interesting. They made it something to keep the crowd on the edge of the seats. Right around now, the students needed some excitement. Finals would be starting soon, after all.
But before she could take her finals, Jasmine had to play this game. She had to win this game. She had to guard the hoops like she had never done before. And with Remy coming straight for her, that was just what she did.
The keeper saw Remy wind back and toss the quaffle at her, and Jasmine knew that the girl wasn't going to go easy. Nobody was going to dare do that in this game. They would never live it down otherwise. Jasmine moved to meet the ball, hoping to feel the thud against her body.

The girl released a breath, she hadn't even realized she had held, as soon as she saw Jasmine block the score. Vanessa though that the quaffle would be passed to someone else.
