Sonja looked at the clothes the twins chose "i like them! try not too chose too uncomfortable clothes though! one piece clothes are better for little babies"she said smiling and turned to lissa "take anything you want for alex! i thought i say i'm covering all his expenses! if he wants the rattle then we will take two!"she told her "get him new clothes too! he grows so fast!"she said and kissed eric's cheek "let's take that blue one!" Nate chuckeld at that "Sonja really likes shopping hm? and now that she will become a mother who knows how many things he will be apart from today until the baby is born! it will be a happy baby though"he smiled walking with hsif ather to the store "how did you feel when you were expecting alex dad?"he asked

The twins nod and put back some of the things they got that might not be very comfortable. "Okay maybe we pick something else." Aki gets another rattle for Alex and puts it in the shopping cart. Lissa says "Sonja, you are buying out the store. I know Alex is your god son but he is only 6 months old!" She laughs and picks out a couple of outfits for Alex. "He only wears them a few weeks it seems so okay I will get him a few clothes." Eric nods and picks up the tub and some other stuff she picks out filling up the cart. Stephan says "Sonja likes to spoil children. Alex is her god son so all of the stuff in the house she bought for him. I don't even remember buying anything hardly except for diapers I think. She just brought everything over. It is kind of a nervous time for the dad since you don't do much and you don't know what to do but wait." They get to the store and see the cart full of stuff. Stephan whispers to Nate, "See...what did I tell you?"

Sonja played with alex's fingers "i'm not buying out the store?! i get one piece from everything! Who knows what she will need! I only got two rattles!"she frowned touching her bump "oh i'm so nervous about this"she said really seeming nervous which didn't happen very often. Nate went into the store and widened his eyes seeing the cart "oh gosh.."he mumbled and went to find his mother "what's going on here?"he asked

Lissa smiles "Being nervous is normal. It will be fine. I will help you." She bounces Alex so he won't get fussy. The twins got some soft fuzzy clothes for the baby, thinking it will be really comfy. One was a bear outfit and one had ducks. "We got these for the baby." Eric had gotten a second cart since the first one was full. He says to Nate "It seems babies need a lot of things. I think we are going to have to have the store deliver everything. We won't have enough room in the van." Stephan looks at everything and nods, yup typical Sonja, he thinks to himself and smiles. There was a car seat, wash tub, clothes, diapers, toys, and lots of other stuff, not to mention the crib, rocking chair and changing table. He was thinking that they would need a moving truck.

Sonja smiled some when Lissa comforted her "thanks..i appreciate it"she said then looked at the twins "i like them very much! show them to daddy too! "she said and. turned to Eric "yes but we will take alex's things now! this baby is born already so he needs them now!"she said smiling at alex who was probably tired Nate helped his father by taking the stuff for sonja's baby to the cash payer and giving them the address so they would bring them directly at home. He didn''t think Sonja was exaggerating although maybe she was in a bit of hurry. He couldn't wait to see the new baby though. Sonja tip toed to eric "hey"she whispered to his ear "do you now anything about women giving birth? i don't like hospitals!"she told him

The twins show Eric "Daddy look isn't it cute! Mommy says baby like comfortable clothes so we picked this soft one." Eric pats them on the head. "I am sure she will like them." Eric thinks about what Sonja whispers..."I know, we will call Peter to come help. He can fly down in a jiffy and he already knows your history. I will ask him and he can check on you and the baby too once in a while before the baby comes." Stephan wheels the cart with the box for the crib and rocking chair. He says to Nate, "Looks like we will be busy assembling everything. I hope you are handy with a screwdriver."

Sonja nodded "ok then!! oh i hope she is fine! we can go to him when i feel the first kick!"she said and smiled "do we need anything else? Lissa, are you done shopping for alex?" Nate scratched his head "i'm not sure dad! never tried it!"he said . They would surely have a lot of work to do

Lissa says "Alex already has a lot of things so I just got him clothes today." She didn't want to buy too much even though Sonja was paying. She didn't want to take advantage of Sonja so she just got a few outfits that were on sale. Lissa was very frugal since she stopped working to have Alex. Stephan says to Nate, "I will teach you." The twins say "We will help. We can unpack the boxes and put the parts out." Eric says "We have plenty of time to put things together when we get home. Good thing we have all of those tools I made for the shop. We are going to need them to build the things we bought."

Sonja nodded "if you think that's what he needs"she said paying fro them then giving Lissa the bag "let's exchange Alex for the bag"she said wanting to hold her son in law kissing his forehead when she got him thinking than in three months she would be holding her baby girl as well Nate nodded"sure you can help...after you finish your homework!"she told them remembering Sonja mentioning it. Since Eric had trusted him with his children he wanted to not only take care of them but teach them what's prior to other things. He mentally added the furniture to his "must do" list. He had to finish the twins' room, make alex's, draw his, practice with his guitar, painting the shop, fix the furniture...and all these before September/!

Lissa laughs and hands Alex to Sonja. Alex giggles at Sonja. "Enjoy it now Alex, your godmother is going to be busy with her own in a few months then you will have a playmate." The twins forgot about their homework. "Oh yeah...okay after. We will hurry and finish when we get home so that we can help." After Sonja paid for everything they head back to the van. Eric helps buckle in the kids as Sonja gets Alex in his car seat so that they could go home. "Everyone all in? Let's go meet the truck at home." When they get home, there was lots to unload from the van from the clothes, books, and other things they bought. "Wow it is like Christmas!" say the twins. When everything was piled in the hallway. They made trips up and down bringing their books and clothes upstairs.

Sonja was again holding Alex. After all it shouldn't be right to make her lift anything that had some more weight, or the bay coud be harmed "oh i will always have time to pick you up or give you a hug ya know!"she told alex smiling Nate carried his stuff upstairs or the music room then came downstairs to take alex's stuff as well "they told they will send them in a couple of hours"he informed them "do you need me to do anything now?"he asked thinking he shouldn't help the twins with their homework since they needed to do it on their own

Stephan says to Nate "Why don't you go do what you want then for a couple of hours. Alex needs to go down for his nap now." Lissa takes Alex up to his crib to take a nap. Eric helps Sonja bring her books to the library and puts them near the fireplace so that she can read them later then brings the clothes she bought upstairs. He says to her, "So the room across from our room should be the nursery I think so you can just go across the hall since the twins are in the room next to ours."

Sonja nodded "mhm! that's a good idea! By the way mister i'm not gonna be the one who will always get up at nights! you will do it too"she said to him poking at his nose then looked at the twins "go study you two "she said strokign their heads Nate nodded "ok dad"he said and walked upstairs going int he twins' room to finish with that drawing

Eric grins and holds up the book he bought "I guess I need to read the 'How to be a Good Dad' book then." He walks into the bedroom that would be their baby room. It was filled with some miscellaneous things that he made disappear and put into the attic. "So do you think our little girl will like this?" He makes the walls cream colored and then put a castle on the wall. "There what do you think? So the crib can go here and the changing table there...The truck should be here in a couple of hours so the paint will be dry by then." The twins went to the classroom to do their homework since Nate was finishing their wall painting.

Sonja walked upstairs with him "how about the crib going there so the sunlight will brighten the room but wihtout annoying her?"she asked him grinning widely "and the walls are perfect...we can add fairies and unicorns later"she added jumping up and down lightly "nate can draw them!"
