James gives Cassandra a solemn, polite nod...then leans on his podium and gives Danielle a great big wave and a grin.

Cassie waited to see what the first question asked would be.. She looked around and saw Hartly and smiled at him.

Hartley was distracted by Namor patting him down, making sure he hadn't brought any instruments to the event. All that was found on him was a ballpoint pen. Hartley rolled his eyes, took his pen back and sat down.
Up on the stage, James pulled out a notecard from his sleeve. It was connected to another notecard...and another...and another...and another. He kept pulling them out until he had a string of about 50 notecards on the podium in front of him.
The sound of Lisa growling at him could be heard from offstage.

Cassie brought out some papers and straightened them out on the podium. She looked over at Chris and winked at him.

Cassie looks out at the crowd who seems unimpressed with James' 'hey'.
"Hello Hero High! Let's have great and honest debate... and in the spirit of honesty.."
Cassie rips up the sheets of paper she brought with her..
"I really won't need these.."
It was an old and cheesey tactic but the crowd went wild for it.

James flips up his notecards, and they burn up in a flash into nothingness. The crowd 'oohs' the stunt.

*The auditorium doors, still technically held open by Jame's gang of Rogues, entered the newest addition of the staff, his spats clicking down all the way as he plunked down in the front row, beaming at a very upset looking Frost as well as the two candidates. He tipped his Moddish hat at them*
"And it takes one to know one. Please..."
*Waves his hand like an overreacting conductor*
"Carry on..."

"Ahem. My platform is equality for ALL students, regardless of power, popularity or stature. I think that all students deserve the chance to succeed, with equal treatment by the faculty and other students.
I also believe in the safety of the students, and have a four-part plan that will help to increase security here on campus. The final point of my platform is fun, and I have many ideas to make the parties, specifically the Holiday Ball and Prom, way more funner than Homecoming Hell was."
James raises his arms as if in victory and skids back and forth a bit on the unicycle he's still balanced on.
