@ Kemari Competition:
As the ball is sent airborne, everyone is taken by surprise when Ujina Denbe interrupts the courtly game by GOING AIRBORNE AS WELL! The ball would crack with the sound of thunder as the ball would go rocketing upwards, as it was lost within the sheer glory that is Lord Sun's radiance! A demonstration of skill and physical prowess in a game where poise mattered most!
Current TN: 11
Mirumoto Sozen would spin, catching the ball with his foot. "Hopefully, the Hare know more about grace than just kicking things!" He would chastise, holding the ball in place for a few moments. His balance wavering, he would simply fling it to the side, to Kaori. {14 vs TN 11, TN+2}
Current TN: 13
Kuni Kaori would backpedal a few steps, stopping just before out of bounds to kick it across to Sosuke. {18 vs TN 13, TN+1}
Current TN: 14
Sosuke would manage to hold the rhythm, letting it bounce off his chest before he kicked it innocently towards Makoto. {18 vs TN 14, TN+2}
Current TN: 16
And Makoto would apparently drop the ball, literally, as he seemed fixated on the ball itself, not paying attention as it came right at him. "M-Makoto-san!" Sosuke tried to warn him, but he woke up from his daydream a little too late, and the ball rolled right past him. {6 vs TN 16, Failure}

@ Kemari, First Set Finale:"That's it! Good job everyone!" Benjiro would interrupt, stepping into the ring. He would smile, placing his foot on the ball, his hands folded behind him. "Though that was definitely... different from how most Kemari games are played, it was technically by the rules. Traditionally, most games are much less fancy and much, much more pantsy. As it stands, Team Number Two fumbled the ball most often, so victory goes to the players on Team Number One. Kitsuki Wazuka, Mirumoto Sozen, Shosuro Naizen, Kuni Kaori, you are excused. Feel free to stay and watch, or to move on to other business, as you see fit."After the four would leave (Kaori seemingly a bit more put down than the rest), Seppun would stare at the four winners, as if contemplating their fates. "Isawa Sosuke and..... Ujina Denbe, you two will be Team Three now. That leaves Kan and Tamori Makoto to make up Team Four. When you are ready, you may proceed," he said, booting the ball to Kan.

After picking up the ball, Kan would give it a solid knee, sending it, nearly floating, towards Sosuke. {18 vs TN 5, TN+5}
Current TN: 10
Isawa Sosuke would waste no time, kicking it directly back, away from the monk and towards the shugenja instead! {24 vs TN 10, TN+5}
Current TN: 15
... and Makoto is apparently not paying attention tonight, as he goes to kick the ball, misjudges its trajectory, and his foot misses as the ball slips by between his legs. Whoops! Even his baggy M.C. Dragon pants weren't enough to save him. {8 vs TN 15, Failure!}

"Yes, it is...", she'd answer. Kyumi would be a bit confused about the looks, but would still enter regardless.
She'd look a bit apologetic upon entering. "I'm sorry that this ended up happening to you and Toyoko-san, Doji-san... However, I'm not really sure exactly how I can help you."

So far, so good; but not sure if he was relieved or disappointed at the other two leaving, Denbe watched the first point go rather quickly, and moved to intercept the second. He may not have been used to restrained, gentle grace, but Sozen had been right about the nature of the game at least. He was playing oddly, and while it may have been impressive, it was maybe not entirely appropriate.
Bouncing the ball off his chest, the Hare masterfully tossed it off his foot back toward Kan. It was a much more controlled ball, but he felt like he was getting the hang of the real sport now. Rather quickly, at that.
Even if the poise and calmness reminded him of why he had never quite enjoyed Kemari next to other things.

Doji Koan would offer a little smile, one that would seem inappropriate if Kyumi dwelled on it too long. "You coming here is help enough, Kyumi-san. Would you like some tea?" he would ask, gesturing towards the tea kettle beside him.

Kan would be ready, smiling at Denbe as the ball would head towards him. However, his kick was a poorly positioned one, as the ball went more towards the side, even though it still flew through the air gently. Spending a void point to recover it, he would attempt to keep it in play! Alas, the monk simply kicked it to a different area out of bounds, apparently not knowing his own strength! {12, 2nd void spent, 10 vs TN 14; Failure!}

"Well, that's embarassing. I'm sorry, apparently my joints must be acting up again, or something," Kan teased, rubbing his left shoulder before going to fetch the ball.

Perhaps fortunately for Koan, Kyumi wasn't really the type to think too much about his smile. In fact, she'd return a polite smile back to him before taking a seat.
"If it isn't too much trouble, that would be nice."

"I understand. It's always good to have a cup of tea before you begin anything." Koan would get the burner ready to heat the kettle of water, preparing two cups for tea.
For the most part, Koan is silent while he readies the tea, only shooting the occasional sideways glance at the Kitsu woman.

@ Lioness Shenanigans:
Kyumi would wait patiently in silence while the tea was being readied. At least, she'd try to. However, after a moment or so of silence, she would begin to feel a bit uncomfortable and would begin to fidget a little.
She would glance around the tent, as if to see if there might be something that she could comment on to break the silence. For now, she'd just comment on the nearby origami.
"Do you often do origami?"She'd ask, taking a closer look at one of the folded pieces of paper.
(( Rolling investigation + 1 raise to see if Kyumi spots anything of interest, or recognizes anything that might be unusual. 5k3 = 31))
