Aegina got up and walked over to Core. She kneeled down next to him and tapped his shoulder. "Core? Are you okay?" She asked, only to see if he was still conscious.

"Y-Yeah..." Core said, pain evident in his voice now, "I just need a few minutes to rest..."

Barick placed Chiasa on the bed to rest, and then headed downstairs again.
Aegina sighed and then picked Core up in her arms and then started heading upstairs.

Aegina ignored Core and kept on walking and opened the door to Chiasa's room and placed him on the bed. "It'll be a lot better if you rest on a bed, dummy." She said and then left the room.

Core grit his teeth for a few seconds, then looked over to Chiasa. With a trembling hand he reached over to her and grasped hers, then went unconscious from the pain.

Nikoli shadow-jumped to the roof of the building, emerging from the darkness on the roof. He pulls his cloak tightly around him. "Best keep watch, I suppose."

Aislin had watched nervously over Core and Chiasa until the angel man had fallen asleep. Gab sat across her shoulders the entire time, whimpering to audibly communicate Aislin's concern. Once Core was a sleep, she pulled the door to their room closed, "Gab, where's the new man? The assassin? He's something called a Shadow dancer, I can't explain it any better."
Gab closed his, searching, "The roof."
Aislin nodded, "Get in my shirt, where going up there."
The growing dragon barely managed to squeeze himself into the shirt, after hugging himself closely to Aislin's body, but he was in place after a little struggle.
Aislin had to go as far up the stairs as she could before climbing out a side window, then the wall, and finally onto the roof. She walked with a practiced ease to a place where she could see the entire roof. She saw Nikoli in the shadows and walked over to the edge of them, hoping not to get attacked, "Nikoli, was it?"

Nikoli turned over to her with a soft smile- something no one had seen in years, not that Aislin knew that. there seemed to be something behind his eyes- not ominous, but longing. His cloak is buttoned tightly around him to save him from the cold night air and the coming dewdrops of the morning.
"Yes- that's right."

"Do you have any idea what that was?" Lily asked Kir, gently.
Lydia heard people moving around in the house, but she was too tired to do anything. She soon fell asleep.
Chiasa began to look restless in her sleep and she rolled onto her side, curling up. She began to whimper quietly.

Core continued to rest quietly.
Kir shook his head. Whatever that was, it's in Barick's house. He stood up and pulled Lily to her feet too.

Chiasa suddenly sat up, wide awake, because she was in pain. Her body hurt all over. She looked over to Core, and knew she couldn't let him see her in pain, so she sort of fell off the bed and then stumbled to another bed room. She closed and locked the door and then crumbled to the floor, panting.
Lily stood up with him and then waited to see what he wanted to do.

Aislin hugged herself, and in turn Gab. She was not exactly dressed properly for the weather tonight. She was however grateful for his body warmth. A little bit of fear and worry ebbed into her tonels, "What exactly happened to Core and Chiasa?"
Gab purred from inside her shirt, trying to comfort her in some way.

Lily smiled at Kir a bit as she followed along side of him.
Chiasa looked down at the floor as she felt her body beginnign to grow. She painfully worked to get out of her dress before she tore it from her changing side. She pulled a pillow off the bed and bit down on it to keep her from screaming.
