Lilliana Skye 3nodding They are making a Halo movie I heard. Maybe it'll be good, but I won't hold my breath ^_^; If the last few game movies made, (Doom and Silent Hill), will be any indication of how good it will be, it should be pretty good. That and Microsoft took a few precautions when writing the script (They wrote it themselves apparently). But yeah, I'm not going to hold my breath on it either.

Lilliana Skye I hope so, it'd be nice to see a good game movie in theatre. I need to catch up on the latest releases though. I just got around to watching V for Vendetta this weekend ^_^; That was a strange movie. Though the ending was pretty cool.

I dont mean to be a nit-pick nelly, but why doesnt the guild have one of those nifty little banners that go next to its name on the guild listing?

`dan cherry peel I'm having a bad day. crying =( Just thought I'd share, haha. Bah! Things fall apart, eh? [/Chinua Achebe and Yeats reference] Also, did someone just say Silent Hill was a ... good.. movie? I thought it was s**t, lol. And I did play the games. The games, to me, are like the pinnacle of story/graphics/music/gameplay... and the movie was too contrived and odd. I think the vision of it was sweet, but that's because the director had amazing visuals to work from for the game. It could have been great, but I think it was poorly executed. [/rant]

[/rant] In comparison to earlier attempts at Game Movies like Mario Bros. and Street Fighter though, it was pretty good. But then of course anything is good in comparison to those. xd
