I know, but most people they usually do it much sooner. I mean Cap ended up back in action, but at least it wasn't years afterwards. Plus they have regularly pruned away crappy characters, first with the Scourge and then Punisher. Then DC had a ton of people come back through the white lantern rings, I mean I'm ok with a revival if you actually make it a big deal for that character to come back. But they just used the event to bring back basically everyone that could have died ever.

Hell she had to continuities in the same universe mind you, where she dies by getting decapitated. Still kicking in her other comic though.
