"Well... seventeen years ago I was put here, and I am about 34 years as a vampire... how old am I?" She asked herself, trying to do the math real quick.
"If I am..." Kaida stated, turning her head to kiss his temple, "Is that a bad thing?" She asked.
Cayden sighed. "Yeah I guess. But I don't see the point in being a monster if I can't scare anyone..." He pointed out, a childish glint in his eyes.

"umm....you're seventeen" he told her with a slight chuckle "so you were just put here huh...thats a bit odd" he said wondering who'd put her in this place

"Oh no, no. Not here. You see, when I was seventeen my parents went away and I threw a party. While there, many people came. Finally all but one man left, and since I was pretty drunk, he brought me to my room. The next thing I know, I woke up in this house. It took three years before I figured out life like this, and I still can't believe it really…" She said with a shrug. She didn't know what happened to her parents, and didn’t know what her friends thought. She was kind of just… gone.

Kale chuckled. "No, it's not a bad thing, just annoying sometimes." he replied holding her closer.
"You're not a monster, you're just different from humans." Talon stated.

"Different? Just different? I... I don't know what I even think I myself anymore." He whispered, doubting himself.
Kaida giggled and leaned into him, wondering what he would do.

Shou tried to comprehend all of her story "so you were kidnapped in a way" he stated "did you ever find out who brought you here?" he asked getting very interested in her story

"Kidnapped? I guess you can call it that. And then dropped off. I've been trying to figure it out, but I can't seem to go outside without losing control of my thirst, and I can't drink off humans without going crazy." She said, thinking about the humans. She wondered why she wasn't going crazy around Shou.

Shou thought for a moment, he knew that mostly new born vampires would lose control after drinking blood "well maybe you should just practice control...." he said thinking of something to help her out "and maybe you could get more info about what happened from Talon"

"I am practicing control. But I haven't been outside in five years. And besides, you'd be dead if I had no control right now." She pointed out. Shaking her head, she said, "Talon isn't here... and he's too busy. So I'm alone in this." She said with a depressed shrug.

Shou looked at her depressed expression "you're not alone, i'll help you...im pretty sure i could protect myself from you" he said even though he was unsure about being able to fight her off if she went berzerk

Dolly looked at him solemnly. "You... a wolf... would help me... a vampire?" She asked, unsure. Maybe then he could protect himself, but she was stronger than he was when she was hungry, and she didn't want to hurt this guy. But the offer was tempting.

Shou smiled at her still not understanding the grudge between the two species "of course i would, i mean....i guess i could consider you a friend, and i'd like to help you..." he said hoping she would accept the offer

Blinking, she sat there, mulling over what he was offering. "You know... this would have to be a complete secret. And if we were caught by elders, you would be my 'slave' until we got rid of them..." She said, setting some terms.

Shou stared at her momentarily 'slave...' he thought to himself before speaking "okay, i can keep quiet about it" he told her wondering if she wouldn't say anything to anybody

"It would only be pretend." She assured him, seeing the doubt in his eyes. She bit her bottom lip for a moment and then looked at the door. "I wouldn't know where to start.
