Danni looked over at Night, rolling her eyes. "We're locating and taking spells from the Ancient Scrolls, located deep in these here caves. Protected by various forms of demons that increase in strength as we go on, we have to get through these pain in the asses to get to those spells, which will allow us to protect ourselves from those damn bombs." She said, talking as she fought off a miniature fire dragon that managed to scorch her finger before she destroyed it.

Meanwhile, Lazareth flew through the portals, ending up bursting out right in front of Ialo (wherever he may be, I kinda forgot...). "Greetings, fellow dragon. I've long awaited our meeting. 'Tis fortunate that Shadow Runner so easily agreed to our contract." He said, not making much sense except to himself.

Artemis was busy tailing the demon trio, masking his presense and watching as the two plotted away in their dorm room, discussing plans. Shadow Runner, he thought, may be in a spot of trouble...He debated whether to let her know about their plans or not, and quickly decided not to and see what happened.

Lin sighed softy in relief as she felt Dymetri's arms wrap around her and pull her against his chest. She finally felt like she could relax in safety again. This alone showed how far she had come in the past few months with her prejudices... and how much she loved Dymetri.

She closed her eyes and spoke softly, still somewhat weakly. "I am fine. My body went haywire and turned me into my hummingbird form, but other than that, I am fine. I just need to wait awhile for the darkness to completely seep out of my body. I could drink some of the spring water around my neck, but I am trying to save it for dire situations."

With her eyes still closed, she reached her hand out until it found Dymetri's and she entwined their fingers together. "More importantly, are you alright after all that happened? You scared me so much when you left."

"Me? There's nothing to tell. Krauser has a few things that are very important to me, and I won't stop until I have them." He looked Chris over for a moment, before saying "What about you? What makes you yearn for this man's demise?"

Dymetri sighed at the feel of her fingers. "That jackass back there had me shoot him. Apparently he was an android."

He closed his eyes and tilted his head back, inhaling a deep breath and continuing to breath in that way. "I'm sorry I frightened you. But as soon as that is over, would you like to have a little bit of fun?"

Dymetri smiled a huge grin, chuckling a bit. If she said yes, well, there would be a lot for her to think about. Him, on the other hand, wasn't thinking so deeply about what he had in mind.

"By the way, do you think that only blood could kill us? Or can it be any type of body liquid?" That information could help.. A lot.

"Oh the usual They Kidnapped me As a kid killed, my caretaker at the orphanage Stole a few years of my, life wiped my memory, and left me for dead, and now I feel obligated to shave a few years off his life," Chris shrugged twirling the daggers in his hands. He sheathed the blades looking over Ra one more time. "Pity I Didn't remember sooner or he'd be dead by now."

"Yeah I know, but I'm not going to get caught." Chris frowned at the branding on Ra looking at him for a moment. "After this he'll be branded for the rest of his short life." He looked up at the roof of the dorms pausing for a moment. "Alright, no time to waste lets get a move on."

Night Rolled his eyes at the ogre jumping onto it's shoulders before viciously gouging, and tearing at it's face. "They never learn, Wish they would make our job easier." Night chuckled before the ogre grabbed him tossing him back to Danni. Night hit the ground back first, but rolled to his feet nimbly. "Bastards are getting tough."

Athena could've squealed. It didn't sound appealing in the slightest, but oh man oh man oh man yay something to do! She could barely keep herself from jumping up and down after reading Danni's message.

But how on Earth was she supposed to get to the third gate of Hell? ..........wait, she knew this one. She was a yokai, she'd almost done it before, and knew for a fact that Artemis had... Hmm, now just what did he say he'd done...? Something about surrounding oneself in fire and some chant. He'd found it in a book.

If she remembered correctly, he also said some crap about needing to have a unicorn heart impaled on a unicorn horn as a sacrifice, but she knew that was just a load of bologna. He liked to make up stories. Right. Then again, maybe the whole fire and chanting was wrong too.

But if it was wrong, she wouldn't have almost gone to a gate of Hell (she didn't remember which one). So at least some part of it was right, then. So what was that chant? It was something in Japanese, which was the language the yokai had adopted after coming to Earth, and thusly their equivalent to demons' tongue.

She remembered it easily (or not, but she figured it out after a moment), as it was in the form of a song. After setting a temporary fire-proofing spell in the bathroom, she sand softly to herself, allowing her fire to engulf her. It wasn't long until she was completely surrounded by flames.

A moment later, one flame changed, and the change spread like a virus, inevitable and quick. Then it disappeared and she fell about a meter to the ground, right behind Danni and Night (not that she noticed that at the moment).

The first thing to take her attention was... herself. Not her surroundings, but herself.

She could tell that she was no longer in human form. She didn't even resemble a human at the present moment. Anyone could see that she was completely canine--her black hair had become fur that was all over her body (her clothes were nowhere in sight), her body had reconfigured itself to be more canine, though she was larger than any dog had any right to be. She more resembled an elephant in height and general size. Her eyes were deep purple that could almost be mistaken for black if the lighting was dark enough. Her fur wasn't solely black, though, and some red and purple markings (presumably familial) presided in proud contrast, concentrated on her face and tail. There was one in the shape of a crescent moon, this one in silver, on her forehead. It was the only silver marking.

She groaned and shook herself off, standing on all four legs. It was a bit of an odd feeling.

((EDIT on 6.May: Haha, apparently I put Kiah instead of Athena. Wow, am I smart... I blame my current lack of sleep.))

Danni was about to nod at Night, then felt an abrupt presense. Turning on her heel, she was about to draw her sword when she recognized the magical 'vibes' coming off the canine-like creature. Relaxing slightly, she thrust her sword back into it's sheath, sighing. "Damn it, Athena, you scared ten years off me with that. Good job getting here, though." She said, then turned back around just in time to catch a goblin that had come jumping for her face, teeth bared. She threw it to the ground, and without remorse bashed its head in with the heel of her boot. "Filthy b*****d." She muttered, then continued walking, motioning for the other two to follow. "Not far now...but it gets fun after the next couple bends." She said, thinking of the small scar she still carried on her hip from her trip into the fire caves.
