Rosa became alert when the giant ship broke out of the ground, though her concerns were more about trying to protect her allies instead of immediately rushing into battle. Rosa glanced back at Blake with Marth almost expectantly, then finally spoke up. "Do you need any assistance?" Rosa looked down at Vexis briefly, then back to Blake.


Vexis got up from the ground, though her actions were quite hesitant...where would she go even if she did manage to leave sentinel? Vexis backed up a bit, away from her temporary allies. "I can't leave...I have nowhere to go....please, just leave me behind..."


Rosa grabbed at Vexis's wrist, pulling her back towards them. "We wont leave anyone behind, once we leave Sentinel you may go wherever you wish, but for now, we need you to come with us...Understood?"

Damien waited patiently as the others tried to figure out the right direction to fly this ship in, staring out the window at the approaching planet.

Vexis had no choice in the matter now, she had to go with them. "Alright...I'll follow..." She replied to Rosa, nodding slightly in demonstration.

The excavator dove into the Pyresian ship, exploding spectacularly as it's occupants jumped into the fighter bay. the big white starcuiser froze, the began to right itself over the planet. The planetary defenses strived to damage the massive alien vessel, but to no avail. The massive ship hung there, unscathed by the torrents of fire upon it's hull. It loomed over the facility like a messenger of doom.

Jad, in question, had managed to board this behemoth of a starship, and ran past the stunned group of Miku, Ren, and Kaito, straight into the hallways. He was going to take control of this ship before it followed Pyresian protocol... Scorched Earth Policy...

(DOOM!)

Shina stepped out of her ship into the slightly jumbled, but still fully functioning Sentinel Facility. She looked up into the atmosphere-less sky at the monstrous Pyresian ship.

"Alright, Jad, what the hell have you gotten into this time?!" She asked to nobody in particular.

(Sentinel isn't done yet, but it's time will come later... It is nowhere near it's true purpose...)

((Eseptos:

A world smaller than Earth, equivalent to Earth's medieval era in terms of technology. The inhabitants, Maggie and Marth's people, are called Eseptians. Humans - nationality, of the Empire - have colonized Eseptos in three separate areas.

The humans have brought technology to Eseptos before the planet's time, and for over three centuries has this tyrannical rule of humans over Eseptians existed.

The three Earthen colonies existed each on the one main continent, which takes up most of the planet's surface space, leaving an amount of ocean that is smaller than the amount of land available.

Although it used to be like 21st-century Earth, in terms of geography and life, it is now most barren, rocky, and unyielding to the inhabitants.

The humans have their three large cities, each one a base for mining, logging, fishing, and other various, resource-draining, planet-killing infrastructure.

Eseptians outnumber humans six-to-one, but with their superior technology, humans have been able to hide in their cities.

A civil war, while constantly existing, has only recently, within the last four years or so, elevated to the extent that cities were besieged.

The Empire's Second Magistrate acts as consul of Eseptos. Now a bloody battle rages, as the tougher Eseptians battle against the more technologically advanced humans.

Devvri and Keth - once both political ambassadors or something similar, now sympathizing with the Eseptian cause, and trying to help win the battle for Eseptos.

Eseptos is a major source of revenue for the Empire, since there are practically no hindrances to the vast mineral resources of the planet. No taxes can be invoked, and the rock can be dug dry of all its precious minerals without fail.

Only the locals - poorly outfitted at that - would try to stop them.

Marth has been banished for crimes committed in the past... Aerclayr was also from Eseptos, and for his own reasons had hunted down and slayed Marth, even if by trickery and even if the intended effects did not last.

Blake, a defector from the Empire, now a wandering pirate, somehow became friends with Marth and Maggie, as did Devvri and Keth. When Marth left, he forced Blake to promise to watch after Maggie, and Maggie refused to let her brother leave without her, and so all three ended up traveling together.

They have had a myriad of chaotic, fast-paced adventures, since.

Now, because of Maggie's strange inflictions, they must travel back to Eseptos, where they will inadvertently become ensnared between the humans and Eseptians, stuck in the middle of a civil war that none of the three even care about anymore.

Anyway, that's the story behind them that I will reveal now. Once the Jupiter is found, my trio will branch away and return to Eseptos, with or without any of their allies.

Eseptos is not strictly a human-and-Eseptian planet, because immigrants or travelers who are of other races may come, though they are only welcomed by the humans. Eseptians harbor a sense of hatred for their oppressors and their oppressors' friends.

Two of my new characters, Lark and Talon, exist on Eseptos at the present time.))

Blake remained where he was, crouched near Marth's body. He was frowning.

"Rosa! Can you carry five or six hundred pounds? I won't leave Marth here!"

As Maggie fell closer to Sentinel's atmosphere, she began gaining speed, and before long she felt an intense heat all around here.

Using her mind, and glowing besides, Maggie guided herself down at a remarkable speed, her telekinetic force doubling the power of gravity over her. She also warded off the worst of the heat, but still had to hold her breath, for at the speed at which she was descending, she would not be able to draw breath.

"Thank you," Blake nodded. "We should get him to safety... to that bucket of bolts that Shina drives. Can you make it that far?"

Maggie saw them far sooner than they saw her. Still falling through the air at double the rate she normally would, her ultra perceptive eyes saw Marth, Blake, Rosa, and another, non-robotic woman.

Marth was alive... Marth was alive! Maggie wept with joy, the wind stinging her face as she let go of her telekinesis, now falling half as fast but without any sort of shield.

Then a large knot twisted inside of Maggie's stomach. It worked its way up into her heart... turning her body icy cold. Then... up farther... infesting her mind. Her brain... then traveling through nerves all throughout her body.

The indigo aura filled her eyes with purple, a fraction of a second before it surrounded her body. Wordlessly, Maggie stretched out her arms and swan-dived, speeding to the ground at almost four times the speed at which she had fallen, without influence. The energy - the aura - it erupted around her, like a fuel to the flames of hate, and to the fires of war.

She descended with such force that a premature sonic boom followed her wake, soon surpassing her and preceding her arrival on the ground that would be in effect very quickly.

Blake answered the call. "Nina - where are you? You came with Shina, right? Get under cover! There are hostile robots everywhere - we're coming to the ... Rust Bucket! Shina's ship!"
