Zahar didn't understand what this ment and her eyes betrayed her of that fact. Her eyes still locked with his for a few moments longer, realizing that she should probably watch her footing she faced forward again. I have never used a magical device before. I had not even really used weapons before Kataio gave me these daggers. She waved at the weapons he was still wearing for her. They were close to the door way now and her gaze drifted to it, just as a rock poked out in the earth before her. Stumbling Zahar grabbed at SK and the wall hoping that one or the other would keep her from falling flat on her face. Her hip started to sing with pain. Damn curiosity getting the best of her.

his tail snapped out wrapping about her chest just below her breasts and pulled her back to a standing position. he then held out the phylatery again, "YOU, wont be using it, i assure you. you have no idea the workings of the device and there for it can be of no real harm to you, it will be nothing more then a pretty bobble in your hands right now. with the right training it could be more, but i think that should do just fine for now," he smiled, " and watch your step, its dark down here after all, and with me distracting you you may loose your footing again," he gave her a playfull light smack on the forhead with his tail.

he chuckld, " not givingin it to you. just so you can see it. take it if you want. its very cold though," his hand was still extended, " as to where we go, i picked last time, your turn. randomness is the only way to a a good adventure!" he smild broad, "looks like its a room to me, but smells like there is a hall at teh other end of it," he was talking out of his rear but there might be a hall there he guessed...

he shruged, "as you wish," and tucked away the phylactery and began walking toward the opening. he thought it was a bit odd that she would be so worried about what was down here for the reasons of keeping a valuable object safe. were there supposed to be thievies or brigands wandering these tunnles? and if so why was she so worried, he was quite sure he could deal with most possable threats in this situation. he tightedned his grip on his sword and stalked around the corner into the room knowing that the light zahar was produing would have given their presence away long ago so there was no point in being to stealthy, jsut swift.

he looked to her a little conecern in his eye, " are you ok? do you need to rest a bit? did that stumble reinflame your leg," he then shook his head, "im sorry to fawn over your wound so. it is just that well.. you have not beein injured many times if i had to guess and so it may become to much. i can carry you without to much of a problem if you like.."

"we will stay, perhaps we can find something as you suggested," he glanced around, "there is potential due to the stucture of that wall," he pointed at the far wall, "for a hidden passage, chances are its actually behind the book case there, you see that that 'crack' there? that looks like its man made, you can tell due to the differences in weathering that it was made by some ones hand rather then just weathering or erosion. it is desgned very cleverly, there is probably a switch somewhere, means there could be traps as well mind you. ill go check out that chest an then you can sit down for a while."

he exammined some of the chests and variouse shelves and the cabinet that was in the room. a few were locked and he glanced to where zahar was. he guessed there were locks on the ones she was looking at too. he noted claw marks on most of the obectes. that could explain why theroom was such a mess. perhaps they had plauge rats like those in the sewers of sigil. that or some cat or lizard like creature perhaps. either way, with a claw length of around 2 inches he was pretty sure that they could be fairly mean little buggers if in a pack. he looked over the cablinet close, pulling out a few of his thief tools. after about a minute of looking he found what he was loking for. there was a neelde trap in the locking. if one were to grasp the handle and pull with out the correct key being inserted then it would come out of the key hole and most likely p***k the hand. there was probably som poisonous powder or some such thinng on it. if it wasa liquid though it would be long since gone. he looked to zahar, " this one is traped, dont try to open it."

Aricin moved slowly away, actually dropping to the ground so they could both fight un impeaded, whispering a reply, "Yeah, I think I'm okay." His eyes flicked this way and that finally spotting the beast sneaking up on then from the shadows, and with esxpert care he squeezed off the first round, allowing its noises to aleart Kata. "I'm glad I don't leave the house un-armed... more of those things, my god what are they?"
