*PIMPSLAP!* Chris I read a rant a while ago that basically stated FFVIII to be a prettied-up, hippie b*****d child of FFVII. It's what spurred my earlier post in the Battle of Centra in which I completely and without recourse ******** the living hell out of the G-Soldier

Chris Ganale I read a rant a while ago that basically stated FFVIII to be a prettied-up, hippie b*****d child of FFVII. It's what spurred my earlier post in the Battle of Centra in which I completely and without recourse ******** the living hell out of the G-Soldier. As much as I love both of these games, they have very little in common, storyline wise. How could someone come to a conclusion that ******** up?

That "asshat" happens to be my friend Raven Seven. Which makes it all the more worse. If it was someone else, I'd dismiss them as a complete and utter moron with the ability to type.

Because she's still a friend, even though she basically said that FF8 was a puddle, and then proceeded to put my face in it.

She doesn't have any factual points. She just doesn't like it. If she doesn't think it was a good storyline, then she doesn't think it was a good storyline.
I didn't like IX all that much. The ending was much "mushier" than VIII's. But, hey, her opinion is her's. Mine is mine.
I think, since VIII, that the FF's have been gradually growing crappier. Like I've said before, I hold high hopes for XII. If it isn't up to snuff, than I'm going to lose all hope in FF.
