"You seem to be in a bad mood. You act as if I came here to kill you. Well you're wrong. I don't kill people unless I need to. That is a fact." Melanie jumped down from the branch and whispered, "I just wanted to be your friend." She drew out two guns with her arms left to the side.

"Not exactly, you looked like you were disappointed and very unhappy to see me. I jump to conclusions a lot. So...yeah... I heard rumors that many people were sent to kill you. And this situation here, could be mistaken as that." Kimi explained.

"Like you said, many people are sent to kill me. I can't just easily take someone's word that they aren't a bounty hunter or a mercenary." Amnity sighed, the cannon on her right arm folding back and returning to the shape of her right arm. "I lost a lot of trust and hope....Just go home..." She turned around, putting her hands in her pocket. "If you won't, I'll leave. If it were any other circumstance, I really would have believed that you were only trying to befriend me..."

Zahzi As expected, Navox took notice to the bullets, and stopped in midair, and started blasting at the car Roku was hiding behind. In a few moments, Zahzi charged at him, and rammed him through a building. A few crashes, structural, and electrical could be heard from where they were, and then it was just silence.... Roku sat there knelt behind the car. "getting low in this clip I'll switch for now." He thought to himself as he pulled out another explosive clip. He continued to kneel down as he turned and just barely looked over the hood of the car. Dust and rubble were still settling from the events and it made it hard to make out anything.

Melanie sighed and dropped her guns. "I seriously want to be your friend. How can I prove it to you? I chose fighting because, well, I thought you liked fighting, and it would be a good way to get to know each other. I guess I thought wrong." Melanie looked down, not wanting to face rejection. A wind blew over and the grass and trees shifted. (Naturally).

A figure came walking out of the building, holding his side and limping.
They walked right past the car Roku was hiding behind, and continued on until collapsing, leaning on a building.
"F***er got me in the chest..."

Roku rushed over to him, "well in the famous words of someone, lets get the F#@% outa here!" Roku said as he took it upon himself to Pull Zahzi up and pull his arm over Roku's shoulders and help him outa there. "Where the hell do we go?" Roku asked as he tried walking out of the area.

Amnity still had her back to her. She stopped walking for a second, but did not turn around. "You did not see anything....You did not see my apartment....you never met me...You never saw my right arm....You never knew about me at all-" She turned around to look at Melanie and it nearly tore her heart. She saw a reflection of herself, of her image deep inside. She hated rejection, though it was given to her every choice she had. Whenever she tries to befriend people, they reject her. Whenever she wants to be a good member or society, they reject her. If Melanie were to look, she could see the glinting pain in the soldier's eyes, just for a second before she turned away. "It would be better if you never knew me at all. Even when you mean your words to be true....That you really do want to be friends with me....I cannot promise you the same thing." She continued walking down the road. "Goodbye."

"He's...Gone..." he said, his voice a tad subdued.
When the dust cleared, there was a double-fisted sized hole in his abdomen.
"He retreated when I attacked...We're in the clear..."

"And to think, I just wanted someone to talk to." Melanie said in a whisper. A tear came out from the corner of her eye. She quickly wiped it away. "It's ok. This always happens. I get over it sooner or later." She forced a smile on her face, looked up and said, "Have a safe trip home." Melanie just collapsed after that.

Amnity froze when she heard her collapse. She clenched her fist and gritted her teeth, trying to continue her walk down the road. Come on...The apartment is just a few blocks away... "You know you're killing me right now......" Amnity said through gritted teeth. "Either you're really good at acting, or you're just crazy to try to befriend someone like me...I think it's the first option."

It was true that Kimi was good at acting, but she wasn't acting. She actually wanted to befriend Amnity. She really wanted a friend, even if it was Amnity. Melanie actually collapsed from exhaustion most likely. She had a small cold and now it advanced to a fever.

Roku looked at the wound, "that things pretty damn deep, where do we go?" He said as he looked up to watch where he was going. "which way to the rest of your friends?" He said as he continued to walk almost deciding to pick up Zahzi and carry him. "what am I doing, if I was smart I would just kill him now and save the trouble. But he did pretty much save my life back there again. I guess I can't kill him now, damn and that was gonna be my retirement." He thought silently as they continued on.
