Jerick sighed and signaled to the vampires to leave. All of them did except the one the talked to Shaon. "Zy this is my cousin Petrol. Petrol, this is Zuriel... and wife." He mumbled the last part.

Petrol bowed again. "It's so nice to finally meet in person Zuriel. and of course you too Mrs. Yama." He bowed to Shaon.

Zy didn't expect this much respect. Petrol was young. too young to ever have been in a real war. Even for a vampire, the kid looked fifteen. How old are you? Zy asked the boy

"I saw you in town." Jerick whispered to shoan while Zys attention was at Petrol. "We'll talk about it later." He said as he pasted by her to be at his cousins side. "He's turning fifty one next mouth." He told Zy.

Petrol looked at the baby. "Is that her? does she really have the mark?" He asked his cousin, who quickly covered his mouth.

Mark? What is he talking about? Zy was even more confused then before.

"When I first held Janan, I noticed her eyes, not normal for a born vampire, all of our eyes are blue, not gray like her fathers. then I noticed a small birthmark just above her belly button. It's in the shape of an ankh cross." he explained.

As Jerick was talking, Petrol slowly walked towards Shaon and the baby. he wanted a better look at Janan.

All of that meant nothing to Zy, it didn't help explain what was going on. He knew it had to do with the real reason his clan was in civil war.

No no no, nothing like that. It's just a prophecy. A Vampire born from a holy man, with eyes uncommon to their kind, will bear a mark of the ankh; the cross of life. The prophecy states the the vampire will bring peace to all clans and form them under one covenant... rendering the elders, obsolete." Jericked looked at Zy who was still confused. "The reason you never heard this before Zy, is because you were not born a vampire. There for you were seen as unclean. the elders did not like it when you killed Calvin, but considering who turned you, The man from the shadows, you were allow to take control of your clan."

Petrol continued to look at the child, "She's beautiful." He told Shaon with a smile.

Zy now understood why he never heard of the prophecy before. 'Natural' vampires or born vampires always thought of themselves as better then the vampires that were once human; turned vampires. This determination has been going on for centuries. there was even a time that turned vampires were slave to the born blood suckers. Zy sighed as the sun began to rise. He didn't have his cloak that Shaon made for him.

Petrol laughed with the baby as it touched him. "Cute." he told her an he cover himself up from the sun.

Thanks honey. Zy took the cloak and tried to wrap it around both them.

"Let get back to your home." He told them as he put on his cloak and headed back to the house.

They all headed towards the house.

Petrol walked besides Zy asking him several questions. "Is it true you were turned by the the man in the shadows? did you really kill my cousin for trowing your bible at you? do people really call you the vampire priest?" Like an egger boy meeting a hero from his bedtime stories.

Zy ignored the questions, turning his attention to Jerick. "What have you been telling the youth of my clan?" He asked with a smile.

Jerick laughed. "Don't be flattered, I only use your name to belittle the respect of the elders." He told him, returning the smile.

Petrol did mind the fact that Zy ignored him, he knew all the stories were true. He looked you to Zy a lot, as did most young vampires. After all, Zy was his age when he took over the clan.

Zy opened the door fro all of them. There was a few vampires there, the one from earlier, that were sitting around, but stood up once the saw Zy and his wife. That reminds me Jerick, What is these door over here? He asked him as he went inside.

"Don't know, I wasn't in charge of building the place." He told him. "Open it."
