(( I'll brb, gotta go bash some heads in. : D *Slinks off with her bat*

Kiah didn’t bother repeating her previous question when Sil refused to answer it, focused on following behind. Suddenly, whatever it was that she needed to talk to the blonde about seemed even more serious, if the retreat was any indication. When they finally reached their destination, Kiah had to catch her breath for a few seconds, warily stepping into the room that belonged to the brown haired woman. She took the time to examine the room a bit before sitting in the offered chair, noticing that it looked much more crowded than a few of the standard-sized rooms she’d been in. It was more reassuring, because it looked like someone actually lived there, as opposed to simply sleeping there.
While Sil made sure the room was secure, Kiah attempted to summon the small cat that had entered the room with them, holding her hand out for the uninterested animal. With a frown she pulled her hand back, waiting for the older woman to explain. “Kyle? I know he can be a bit… tiring to deal with, but that bad?” she said in confusion, waiting patiently for Sil to get her thoughts together. Her eyes followed the erratic path her feet took as she paced in front of her, listening intently. A look of shock settled on her face as she explained in more detail, feeling utter outrage without knowing exactly what Kyle was holding over the two. Suppressing it for the moment, she let Sil finish before speaking again.
“I’m sure I can convince him to back off… and I swear that I’ll never say anything, as long as it’s got nothing to do with murder or something like that…,” she stated, dead serious, “but what could possibly have you and Lavi wrapped around his finger like that? And if this is life-altering, how did Kyle find out in the first place?” There were more questions on the tip of her tongue, but she left it at that for the moment, sure that once she knew what was going on things would make more sense. Sil’s nervousness and the increasingly urgent tone in her voice caused Kiah to feel a surge of anger, wondering how Kyle could make the older woman so anxious and not experience a sliver of guilt for it.

"Murder?" Sil snorted a little, finding the idea a little funny regardless of the pressure of the situation at hand. Though she could not speak for Lavi, she had never caused harm to a human more than a self-defensive punch and her torture towards Kyle. Noah aside, of course, and though she had lethal intent towards them they had equally lethal plans for her, noted quite poignantly from her days of torture and near death stories in the hands of them. "You think if it was murder that Kyle would still be breathing at this point? I'm not exactly known for my ability to stay calm."
However, all jokes aside and back to the other questions at hand, Sil settled down onto her bed with a little bounce. Her eyes were locked on the lovely blonde, her lips parting to form the words she needed to say, then they closed with a little sigh. Approaching this issue without Lavi's input made her more nervous than she ever thought it could, and even if she often felt alone in the relationship she was staring to realize that they had become more of a team than even she had realized.
With a little anxious leg wiggle, she let out a long sigh trying once again to find the perfect words to describe the situation. After stumbling through just about every name involved in the situation without managing to start the sentence, she finally found the right phrase. "Lavi and I are... uhm... we're romantically involved," it was quite possibly the most awkward way to put the relationship, but Sil didn't know a better way to say it, the apples of her cheeks flaring with color as she finally admitted the secret to someone else. Her eyes immediately dropped to the floor, embarrassment evident.
Now the secret was out, however, her words flowed a little more smoothly. "...But we're not supposed to be, and if certain people find out then it'll be an incredible, indescribable mess... Kyle found out about it this summer during our bee evacuation-vacation. Lavi and I asked him to keep our secret, but unsurprisingly he's using it for revenge since we all don't exactly get along that well... He's pushing the bounds too far and I can't take it anymore." The words felt bitter on her tongue-- part of her felt like she should have sucked it up and endured anyway for the sake of them, but the other part of her knew that Lavi wouldn't want her to compromise her dignity either. "I'm honestly terrified even with you interfering he might tell someone and everything will just fall apart..." Her voice strained, and while he words did little justice the weight of her worry was heavy on her soft words, the tone brittle like the littlest push might break her.

The small laugh from Sil caused the corner of her mouth to quirk up, glad that the secret had nothing to do with life and death situations. “Just making sure... When someone is that serious, your mind starts to go places…,” Kiah shrugged, laughing a little, “that is true… would have made it a lot easier on you, though, if that was the case.”
Leg bouncing in anticipation, Kiah straightened up and gave Sil her undivided attention, her hands on her knees as if she was bracing for the impact of the secret. The hesitance that the other woman displayed made it almost painful to wait, though she could imagine that she would feel the same if she was ever in a position that required her to spill an uncomfortable secret. She nearly stopped Sil before she opened her mouth, but was instead rendered speechless when she finally stated what she’d been hiding. It seemed a bit… anticlimactic after the entire production of getting the words out in the open, but there were probably important reasons on why it was to remain a secret. “That… honestly doesn’t sound like something that should be held against you…,” she stated in confusion, unable to keep the small smile off of her face at Sil’s suddenly rosy cheeks. She didn’t give in to the urge to comment on it, because of the situation, but it was a shame since she’d never seen the older woman so embarrassed before.
Kiah nodded in understanding, letting her continue on while she thought. Having a secret relationship- in the Order, no less- was difficult in itself when it was essential. But when you had to worry about some idiot revealing them for over six months… she didn’t know how they resisted the urge they probably felt to murder the sandy haired man. When Sil had trailed off, conveying in her tone the amount of stress and worry she’d endured up until this point, the blonde slid closer to her and reached a hand out to rest on her shoulder comfortingly.
“I… don’t exactly understand why you need to keep this under wraps, but I get that it’s important that nobody knows… so I swear to you right now that I’ll make sure that he won’t tell a soul. He’s not the only one with leverage,” she grinned, letting her hand fall back to her lap. The expression on her face grew serious once again, and Kiah watched Sil as she put up two fingers. “Two questions, though… Has Kyle made you do anything extremely awful, and…,” she paused a moment to work out what she wanted to say before continuing, “this might sound a little strange, but I promise it’ll help… if anyone knew, would you two be able to stay together, let alone see each other?” It probably wasn’t the most confusing question, but if she could compare it to a similar situation, it was possible that Kyle wouldn’t need much convincing.
