"That does sound nice..." Lily agreed quietly. "If you do make it, could I get half a cup please?" she asked River, ears perking slightly.
As for Cerri, she came out of the kitchen, taking something from her pocket and tossing it to Arlen. "Catch." she called as she did. "It works the same as your old one." she added, heading up the stairs; she'd made him another pendent.

Arlen hastily reached out to catch it and almost dropped it. "Thank you," he called after Cerri. He gave Lily a squeeze before pulling his arms away from her and fixing the pendant around his neck again.

"Oh yes certanly, It's not a problem Arlen, I'd be glad to." Her eyes scanned over the counter and she bent down opening a cabnet with coco powder or 'chocolate'. Pulling it out she went back into the kitchen for a moment, grabbing the milk and pouring some into a small pot, scooping some of the chocolate powder out and into the milk. Turning the heat on she grabed a whisk and started to beat the coco powder and milk together as it started to heat up slowly.

Lily reached out to touch the pendent, small wonder in her eyes. "I can't believe..." she trailed off, then sighed. "I'm glad she made that for you. I was afraid it would be a long time before you'd have one again." For a moment, she hated that Ukaia had left; she wanted very much to be in Arlen's lap. Pushing that feeling away, she continued to pet Bai's ears with one hand, the other firmly grasping Arlen's shirt.

Soon after she entered the kitchen she came out with one cup full of coco, and the other only half. The sent of chocolate poured from the tray she carried as she walked over to the two. Smileing she kneeling a bit to hold it to them." Here you are, Arlen, Lily, Hot coco. This is what you wished for correct?" Her onyx eyes set on Bai and she gave a soft expression. Thinking solemly to herself as she watched. Not really close to Bai she felt a little helpless, she could do nothing and she knew it.

Arlen nodded, taking Lily's mug and passing it to her before taking his own. "Thank you River," he said, sipping it. "How've you been?"

Lily found herself in a bit of a quandary; the hand that was petting Bai was her weak hand. And so, reluctantly, she let go of Arlen to take her cocoa, then promptly began to pout as she drank it. She was careful to keep it subtle, however; it was mostly to make herself feel better, not to draw attention to herself, and she listened for River's response.

"Could.." River started staring at bai for a moment before looking at Lily, " Could I possibly help with this?..." She motioned towards Baizou and blinked at his state, sleeping like usual nothing seemed, wrong atleast. Lily's expression was one River would humbly prize, it was the strangest and most suttle pout she'd ever witnessed, was it even a pout? No matter she waited for a plausable anwser.

Lily looked up at River and blinked, her expression gong to one of slight surprise. "I... um... if you wanted to stay near him. Ukaia says he needs a female around right now. I don't know what happened, but it wasn't good." she sighed and looked down at the boy, now upset at herself for being so selfish inside. "Do you want to hold and snuggle with him for a bit? I wish Ellie were here. It's her that I think he needs."

"Ellie. I saw her a few days ago she seemed fine...Or atleast Silent told me she was alright." River shruged and set the tray down on the floor." I wouldn't mind. Should I move him somewhere or just sit under him?" She smiled reaching a hand over to him, strokeing his cheek softly with the back of her fingers.

"She may be fine, but he's not." Lily answered quietly, then bit her lower lip. "Either would be okay. Whichever you are more..." Suddenly she blinked, and realized she'd forgotten the word she need. "Con... cof... comf... whichever you want." she whispered, on the brink of tears now as she sipped her cocoa, trying to hide that fact.

"Comfertable?" River said softly to her giving an understanding smile slipping her arm under him, lifting his body away from the couch and sitting under him before laying his carefuly back down, moving hair from his face as she did." ...I suppose I should try to be affectionate right?...It couldn't hurt..."

As soon as River had Baizou, Lily crawled into Arlen's lap and hid her face in his chest. After a few deep, ragged breaths, she found the courage to face the outside world again, and went back to sipping her drink slowly, snuggled close to him. "Yes. Affectionate is good." she told River, a bit belatedly.
