Aria the gems are mind body and soul yes they shined a light on the creature you believe they gems were his first if they were then that means he was the supposed monster in the story and the reason why he was in the cave was b/c he did not want anyone to take his gems which were most likely his only weakness.The gems do remind me of a normal human being to be honest humans are supposed to have a mind body and a soul there is a possibility that those gems are not only the birth of human powers but the birth of humans themselves.Man i have no clue what im saying lol.okay ummm I dont really wanna try anymore but if it would help someone else get the answer besides aria,I will b/c I feel he has enough characters roaming around already u.u
