That didn't make her feel any better but she hadn't been expecting him to. She glanced up at him and nodded, forcing a smile so he wouldn't worry. "I will be just fine. I'm just going to lay here and try to regain some of my strength and energy." At least that was the plan. She'd like to go down and see her son but her body had been zapped just by the slow walk across the room to him a few minutes prior. Attempting to actually get to his room and then have some kind of meaningful conversation without attempting to heal him was going to push her right over the edge. And she couldn't risk that. "Go. I'll be fine."

Giving a nod to her he pressed a kiss to her temple and made sure she was settled before he made his was out and took a slow walk home. All those things running through his head which he didn't know if he listened to them or not. But back at their place he wandered around, grabbing the things he thought they needed and packing them up before he took a moment to just sit at the kitchen table and let his head slow down a little. He had no idea what he was going to do with that boy now...but figured Zahara would be the one calling how things were to go. Did not look good for Sevilin at all...A look down to the little stuffed dragon he was holding it, remembering how it looked when he first gave it to Zykariel. It was unfair...some of the past you could never get back and some of it haunted you forever and you didn't get to chose.

Cerrillia was at the Twilight grounds, against just beyond the runes, lookin gover the spell to let her pass through it under the guise of Zykariel's 'essence' effectively masking or marking her as anything but an intruder. So he took a chance, chanted the words, and then took a few steps past the runic markers. Let see if it worked. if it did, then it would be time to find an adequate disguise.

Lost in a reverie where she was holding her sobbing son and trying to discern his wounds, she didn't immediately recognize the state her own body was in. It wasn't until the pain was damn near unbearable that she even came to enough to scream. The scent of blood hung heavy and stale in the air and she felt as if thousands of daggers were steadily slicing her open. She pushed herself out of bed, wavering on her feet as the room spun out of focus. Already weak, she felt her legs give out and her body crumpled to the floor.

As for runes, they merely gave their normal shimmer and it seemed that all was quiet when it came to them. They didn't give her away yet, but that didn't exclude anyone on patrol being a quick watch.
And there went off the alarms. The stress just jumped up three levels and he was up in a flash from his seat, grabbing the bag of stuff he'd grabbed and pulling a quick translocation, poofing into existance in the room his wife was in, dropping the bag and kneeling down next to his wife and pulling her up into a half sitting position. "Zahara, look at me." He had a good idea just from the look of things of what was going on...and if it was, that assassin was going to get a personal world of torture.

Her body leaned sluggishly, staying upright only because he held her that way. Violet orbs, murky with pain, slowly rose to meet his before slamming shut as her face paled once more. "Need....help..." She could feel her blood leaving her body but it wasn't natural. It was all wrong and something felt off within her. She couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. She fought to stay lucid, to push past the pain and figure out what was going on but hot coals were shoving their way into her body. "Stop..." she pleaded in a hazy whisper. "Just stop."

Yup, torturing him viciously and probably not killing him because that would be too good. Just torture him more. A shake of his head and he settled to sit on the floor, pulling her into his lap and brushing a hand through her hair. He already knew that nothing was going to help at this point and it had been a matter of time anyway. "Shhh, it's alright." She wouldn't let him do what what he wanted before but this was different. Thusly a kiss pressed to her forehead before he scribed a rune there. Put her out for a few hours, let it all run it's course. "Promise."

She stared up at him, trust evident despite the pain as her form went limp in his arms. Her body did indeed go through all of the contractions until her body finally expelled the forming embryo that had been sucked dry by the poison that had found its way through her bloodstream to that isolated beat of energy. From there, it had latched on like a leech, draining the baby almost to the point of death. Zahara hadn't known it, but Sevilin had. Their baby was doomed hours ago. She was half aware of what had happened but still hazy and with the rune, she was still out.

She was carful, but did give a grin. it worked. now to find a suitable appearance. so she kept to shadows and watched and avoided most patrols, those she couldn't avoid she made to look like she was there doing some chore or busywork while keeping her face away. Not that any of them would know her face, but better safe then sorry.
She noticed the atruim, and started making her way toward that, looking for a prime canidate to use her spells on to shift her appearance to one that might be casually recognized as not a danger around the building.

He was quiet, merely holding her and letting his mind drift to places that it wanted. Granted none of them were good places but places none the less. A disconnet from the present time that was needed so that he could deal with it. Thusly he gathered her up and wne about things, getting her cleaned up and calling in a servant or two to clean everything else up. A change of clothes for the both of them and he set her back in bed, brushing her hair away from her face and watching her for a moment. She wasn't going to take the news well. A point to one of the servants. "Stay with her. If she asks for me. Get me." Thusly heading out of the room and downstairs, shortly being given a note by another servant from Malik. Quick read over it and a grin. Oh how lovely...he was given free reign to deal with it as needed until Malik felt he should come home. All the better, he already was playing fear monger.
Of coruse where others may pay no mind...she usually saw the oversights. A side glance from her as she adjusted her hold on Kelligrin and let her surface elf conpamion meander about a bit. Who was that? Weren't all of them down in the basement because Sevilin was determined to find the wolf among the sheep?

Her reverie was full of happy memories of her children and spending time with her husband and so, she rested peacefully. It was as if her mind somehow knew that this rest was going to be extremely important and that when she finally did wake up, it was not going to be good at all. Her eyelids fluttered a few times but each time she was dragged right back down to the happy world her body was currently existing in. She just wasn't ready to wake up yet.

Not enough choices...but some that looked promising. she opted to talk tot he large breasted raven haired woman that was tending to some of the plante, human maybe. the kind of woman Cerillia might have propositioned. but they were talking, casual conversation, and staying out of the light. and she led the woman away, out of sight, before planting her lips to hers while whispering some arcane words. just her favorite method of doing this.
the girls slumped against her, and she laid her back against a tree. she'd be fine. but this was needed. Cerrillia shifted forms, using her full talents. now she looked just like the girl she'd kissed. even down to the eyes and voice.
She took her time, doing work, before casually decided to opt into the house, making some minor excuse. once in though, she started looking for the traces of energy that would give her the room Zykariel was in.

Thusly had made his way down to the basement to viciously interrograte a few people. He was going to get his answers out of someone and he didn't care what he had to do at this point. He'd show there people a level of prowling beast that hadn't been seen in even Malik for years now. You didn't mess with what was his, at all. Whomever started this wasn't going to get the see the end of it or enjoy any rewards they may have gotten.

It probably wouldn't be too hard for her to find Zykariel's room but he wasn't in a state of mind to be carrying on too deep of a conversation. Awake and aware of all that was going on, he was testing his various limbs to see which ones hurt the most to move and how good of a job the healer had done.

She found him, and looked him over entering the room. well well. seems someone had taken out his frustration on his son. but she moved to the bed, and sat on the edge of it, taking the look of a servant aiming to help.
"Are you feeling any better?"
she'd have to be particularly careful this time his hiding her identity...at least until she knew wether or not he'd blow her cover.
So far, he wasn't getting anything but circle rumors and pointing fingers. no one wanted to be caught up in this problem, and everyone has something to hide. experiments without permission, various black market dabblings, nothing malik would be overly upset with, but things they weren't sure sevilin wouldn't snap at. and tier'dal never give up things without someone able to take a fall. and right now everyone was trying to position themselves for the potential fall out, and not to get caught in it.
