A bright smile etched across his face. "I love giving hugs, i always have... I'm kinda weird like that." Jeff wrapped his arms around Lin and hugged her gently.

She smiled but her heart still felt a wee bit solid. Something earlier that night cracked inside. Something broke and slithered down her back and dissapeared.

He grinned and gave her a little squeeze before letting go and taking a step back. "If you ever need a hug just find me and I'll give you one ok?" He tilted his head and a bit of hair fell infront of his face. He got momentarily distracted by the hair and blew it out of the way but it kept falling back so finally he moved it behind his ear.

She bent down and rolled up her cargo pants a little. Her hand went into the inside of the left flap of her boots. She pulled out a little green wad and grabbed Jeff's hand and shoved it in it.
"That's for you."
It was a roll of twenty 100 dollar bills.
" I wandered because i chose to wander. Nothing feels like home. You're a sweet guy and deserve a break." She smiled.

He looked from Lin to the money then back to Lin again. His jaw had metaphorically hit the floor. "I've never even seen this much money. I... I cant take this... This is just soo much... Wont you need.... How about if I just a couple hundred... this is like... one, two three.... holy hell!" The shock of the amount of money made his eyes wide.

"You dont have to pay me back. I was never rich, or noble or anything but I worked alot and I have saved up over the last err..hundred or so years."
