Typhoon_Omi You've had to deal with a "woman" named "Kyoko" - You've had to deal with a woman who moved across the country to be near you because she's batshit insane, not leaving you alone to the point where you have the urge to file a restraining order, and having to carry her 250 lb a** into the emergency room when she overdosed on painkillers in one of her very frequent bouts of suicidal depression? Oh, and apparently taught her son to call you "daddy"?

Well, I say just let the tournament progress as it has been. I'm not for starting over.
I don't actually have any valid reasons though for why I don't want it...>_>;;
I just don't.

When this does start over, we can probably make a biannual tournament thingy. Similar to the HoH but completely different. And as a request, I will like to be a part in creating this new GTB. This could be fun in a drawing people from Gaia to come and participate in fun fighting events for prizes. I'm sure Lone Hand would want this.

Ever had to deal with a fatass b*****d that didn't get off his a** to get a job in over ten years of living with his mom. A guy who is by legal technicality your uncle, who threatened to beat the s**t out of you for no apparent reason multiple times [and couldn't even if he tried], who calls his mom "Nana", who is a proven ***** and only got out of serving 30 years in jail for some lovely 'photos' because two members of his family lied like Hell over him, and who is, in a certain someone's opinion, a waste of life and should be shot point blank in the forehead - for thanks to him, that very same great aunt has now lost her home she saved up her whole life for, and being a widow, now lives in a trailer where she still supports the b*****d because he's her son and she doesn't want to live alone [Tad 'gone' after her husband passed]? Not to mention, what little money her dead husband [nice guy, so I hear - supposedly was a big exec, but died when he was 52, heart attack] left her is now wasted constantly on feeding his fat, bloated, lard lazy piece of s**t a** [and being given to her more wealthy daughter/son, neither of which will ever pay her back], and probably will until she dies and ol' lardass lives off soup kitchens. He'll try to see if family'll take him in, and in advance: they won't, not his uncle [certain someone's grandfather], not his cousins, certainly as Hell not his nephew [him being too :Flex:tuh and all], not even his own God damned sons & daughter. Why? Because he's a failure. A downright failure.
SOUND SHITTY? Maybe, maybe not, and Omi dun' care - we all have rather fun things in our lives that are downright Hellish to deal with. And we deal with them. Whining about it's about as useless as telling most people iPods fail. [And trust me. They do. They do, they very much do. iTunes was probably designed by Satan himself, that clever ********.]
However, my original post there referred to someone that I personally had to deal with in the position of administration or leadership. Your last post 'ere had zilch to do with that subject, at all. I'm confused as to why you even posted it. And much as I hate to play the "LET'S SEE WHO GOT DA WURZE LIEF CARDzzz!1! LOL!", I now had to make a lovely & semi-pointless retaliation post. Unless, the person you described is fake, which is totally cool too - though again, pointless to da' original subject thar'. So again: Bad Jello. Go play in HoH, or be wise and go play Wild Arms II. ;.;
On topic with the restart, I think a biannual tournament after the current tournament is over would be awesome. Maybe we could have certain positions wager gold & a gift envelop, each higher of the few final slots being a slightly rarer [though not overly so, I sure as Hell don't think anyone wants to wait for the tournament to raise 500 mill for some overpriced hat] gift item.
But screw the prizes, I want the new GTB if there is one to have more interaction, without the premise of say, HoH.
[Monseiru]: Yo thar', gonna make a post before long. Like I said, you won't be seeing any more extravagant attacks. Fact, my character literally won't be able to so much as walk more than a few steps at a time for the remainder. Depth perception's out the window, and running is damned impossible. The kind of person who needs to be 'loved by' and 'friends with' everyone and anyone who even looks at the forum pages, and will not leave anyone alone at any time. Because being the center of attention is that important. And since the person 'apparently' knows me personally (I say that meaning that she really has no concept for what reality actually is, and is always inventing things or making them up to either make her life more dramatic or because that's the way she sees the ideal world) she feels the need to constantly try and write-off the things I say to other people; despite that everyone knows by now that she's really not to be trusted on more or less any subject.

Sounds like she has a fixation on you being something you're not, and doesn't give a damn as long as that image lasts as long as it can. I really doubt you need me saying it, but she may need therapy; though that's only good when one actually wishes to receive something out of it, so dunno if that'll actually help at all, being honest.
Still, however the Hell she knows you, having her undermine you on guilds like that sounds.. eh. I take it these are public guilds, or she wouldn't be able to post?

no ability to take in aural energy for a bit, but physically, he can still fight. force alpha shift is wearing off so he's going to actually feel the bits of the fire attacks he took. scalds, welts, charred fur/hair, and a gash in the chest... but he can fight and when he gets across the arena, he's going to keep going until it gets rediculous and i can say the blood loss is taking him down. he shouldn't fight, and any boxing ref would call the match and let the points speak. but he can.
i say this with no arrogance, but i believe i've won.

You're right in that the sword didn't pierce. And I admit, you currently have the advantage. Hell, quite a nice one.
However, if I may be blunt: I consider this the true last confrontation between the two. My character can't do a damned thing in terms of maneuvering across the arena, or anything of that ilk.
Yet? I estimate the end of this match, if we want to give percents out the a** on whom will win, to be myself 40%, you 60%. Regardless of the above factors.
Backtrack over the match carefully. Namely quote boxes and what position the character is trying to maintain as he moves, not to mention the fact he can't delve into anything of the Serpentine Manipulation.. at all. Or go into any 'state'. He's as is, can't deal a single punch, or so much as evade an attack, most likely.
But~ I give a friendly warning, so there's no shock factor, even though what I refer to is actually really minor. Believing you've won isn't wise until you have. =P

"regardless of the factors?" i daresay, because of the factors. i'm not basing any "i think i'm about to win" statments on ego or anything because i can see when the fight's not in my favor, and when it is. i'm basing it on what you've said. you've stated that omi can hardly stand up straight, see straight, his sword arm is about to give out, can't mount a counter, can't attack, can't create a serpent... not without, you know, killing himself to do it. however, lazenca is up and breathing all hard, but that's from blocking giga-attack after giga-attack with no breath in between... and despite all appearances, being a ice elemental, fire's horrible to him- that's why his aura's at the even line [did i put that he's sweating? i think i did]. wouldn't've needed to protect himself so hardcore if the arena wasn't so hot all the time.
unless you DO perform a suicidal charge, suicidal because you yourself have stated "my char is done unless he dies or passes out" or somesuch... then i have won. lazenca stands, is concious, and is mobile. but... a suicidal charge on what you've stated was the final limit for your char?
that's the only reason i dared say something like that... because reviewing everything in the battle and the ooc statement, i simply don't see how your char can move. unless he's possessed and his muscles tear in an attempt to swing the sword.

Giga-attack after giga-attack, eh? Yet, did you not formulate a counter giga-attack and giga-defense at every turn, and even state in your last post that you have a number more? I hardly see how that's grounds for a complaint. My character gave out great attacks. He received great damage as a result. Now, to compensate for the fact my character outputted such high level attacks, I had him take reasonable consequences. And he did. Would you have preferred my last attack, like so many a roleplayer here, to be some gigantic ball of fire that put no negative effect on my character at all save a stamina drain, and then had him begin running at your weakened character with serpent after serpent? Of course not, because that'd be ridiculous. But,
it's also equally ridiculous, after your character enduring attack after attack - especially that last one at such a very short distance - to more or less in laments terms, put up a barrier at the last second despite his already weakened condition. Would I consider crying fowl there? No. =P
In short: My character has one -mildly- good arm. His legs are very bad, but they aren't broken; they can at the least, vault him forward a tad. He's got an above-average weapon in that hand that, as specified before, is extremely light and thus isn't going to put that wounded arm into dire straits. He's not to the point of death. Yes, he's in horrible shape, and yes, it's dangerous for him to even try continuing; but IC and OOC motivation for him continuing aside, the fact remains.. he can. And will, unless I've broken some kind of rule, in which case I'll gladly bow out. domokun
Your character, despite taking the gauntlet of attacks, melee assaults, near point-blank barrages when you came in for melee assaults, barely managing to get through two different attacks that were surrounding you on all sides, and despite -lifting my character by the neck with your feet twice, once of which ended in me being thrown down into an arena wall like a meteor-.. and despite his own, rather grevious injuries - is also able to move. Able to throw attacks. Considerably more so on both sides than myself. And, although I threw considerably more attacks than yourself, although six man-shaped ripping tides of fire tried to cut into your "berserker charging" character's body before that final strike cut through them to make the shot a sue-hit, despite your character flash freezing then imploding the ice upon my character in one post.. we are still in the same spot we're at. No?
Is it that bad that my character can maybe sorta swing ol' Caladbolg if you come too close, while his free arm lays to the side outright dead, and his body is all but assured of taking most blows thrown at him if you get in range? Is it bad that I can still hurt your character? Is it bad that my character can keep conscious by a thread, while your's can stand upright and close in with more melee assaults or claw attacks or special attacks or -whatever-, since we're both technically on that "They should be down. They're in horrible shape. They refuse to fall just due to their body's weakness." deal? Is there really any room for complaint?
I don't believe your ego is part of this at all, nor am I insinuating such a thing. Don't get impatient. If you're convinced you're to win, than do it instead of expecting my character to drop cold right when it's convenient. =P But there is still perfectly reasonable legitability for my character to not just crumble to the soil right yet; and I still want to try my best to win this, even if the odds are very much stacked against me, and even if I must admit I probably won't.
Are there anymore concerns on why you've not won yet, or is it okay for me to post? =P
