To some it probably didn't seem like such a bad thing to say, but this boy had been tap dancing on nerves for days now and that was a subject that Sevilin did not take lightly to. One could say he snapped, one could as he asserted himself as a parent over a child who was unruly. He wasn't quite sure when in her head or where for that matter he made the decision but it had been made. His fist connected to his son's jaw, snapping his head to the side and forcing him to stumble back into the wall behind him before his father was on him again, one hand grabbing the boy by the should and flipping him, pushing him face first into the wall and wrenching his arm behind him painfully, a knee forced into the small of his back. "Dos, dalhar, inbal nau ul'hyrr d' lu'oh klezn ph' bauth ghil jala mzild. Dos ssinssrin tlu natha nesst, lu' vreg'nth, lu' talinth dos zhaun rilbol lu' shlu'ta plynn kyon d' dosstan? T'yin ji tlu ol. Dos ssinssrin tlu malla 'zil folt ji dos orn. Lu' nesstren vel'uss telanth wun folt natha i'dol desu xun naut thalra gar'ven ap'za."

That hissing and malice tone rip in his voice as he whispered the words with venom light quality in the boy's ear before he tossed him down to the floor, a boot quick to follow to the ribs and then to come to rest across the boy's throat, cutting off his air. The look in his eyes down at the boy said he did not see him as his son at this moment at all. He was a man punishing another for transgressions against him and his. And even if a more rational Sevilin was in his head screaming at him to stop this madness, the voice wasn't getting through."Usstan inbal inbalus ussta quanth d' dos. Jal Usstan shlu'ta plynn. Dos phlith uns'aa xuil jal nindel dos ph' lu' Usstan shlu'ta belbau nindel rath 'zil ol zhah dosst daewl. Drill dos orn naut sila nindel pholor ussta fuma. Usstan belbau ussta ust lu' vaen sarn' nin."

Wrenching the boy up from the floor by his hair then and grabbing his painfully to make him hold his gaze. He didn't say anything but held purple eyes to his own that had gone so dark they were almost black...and then merely dosed out another round of punishment to the boy before leaving him in a wrecked pile of himself on the floor, stepping over him and heading outside to check on the things going on out there. No, what he had just done hadn't sunken in yet. Perhaps it would later...or perhaps this was how things were going to be and there was nothing to regret.

Taking a deep breath Giedia perpared herself to make a run for it, looking at Keely she said, "I am just a fast as any elf," to herself she said, "only thing is I am a bit of a kltuz."
"Which way is the fastest way out of here Keely?"

"That's a good boy Kelligrin." Patting him lightlght before turning her look back to the surface elf with her. She tilted her head with a strange look. Okay she was just confused right now..."Never said you weren't. The front door? Why are you looking for a fast way out of here?"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 21, 2008 6:10 pm

"Because you said, oh never mind," Giedia said not willing to give Keely an answer right away. Looking down at Kelligrin she smiled and cooed at the baby before deciding to get to know her surroundings better. Letting down her wards of protection which she had cast out Giedia let out a sigh she pulled a out a pieces of bread that she had nicked from the table and began to chew on it.
"Dose all this nosie happen alot around here?"she asked as she patted Kelligrin on the head. "Besides you and Master Sevilin and of course little Kelligrin here you guys are the only ones of met here. Oh yeah and I forgot the older son whats his name it started with a Z.... humm I can't think of it right now. Who else lives here?" Giedia blinked her light violet eyes and threw a glance at Keely hoping it will take her attentions from the earlier moment of panic that she had.

At first he just thought his dad was trying to get a point across and being a bit physical with him. Being shoved into the wall hurt, sure, and the twisted arm and knee in his back didn't thrill him too much, either. But the language threw him off the most. His parents had used it from time to time, sometimes playing with each other and sometimes when they were keeping secrets from him and his siblings. This time he sounded angry and Zykariel had only an inkling of what he was saying.

Shortly thereafter, he no longer cared. He'd never in his life seen his father as enraged as he was right now. Hell, he'd never felt his father put his hands on him to cause any kind of physical pain unless it was in response to something he'd done himself, like when he'd broken his arm and dad had jostled it to see how bad it was.

He was not doing so hot and his father wasn't his father at this point in time. Obviously, he'd overstepped big time here. Zykariel studied his father through eyes smeared with his own blood before he was dropped once more and his body physically hurt too much to move anymore.

"Normally, yes. It's the underdark you know...it wouldn't be the same if at least one bad or awkard thing was happening that day." Adjusting Kelli in her hold and gesturing the durface elf to follow. "Zykariel. Well...Lord and Lady D'vinn own the place and live here with their two sons, and then the servants that wish to live here are allowed too, the others live on the Twilight land housing and come into work. Sometimes the Inthara's live here when needed. Like now." Leading the girl outside and to the spot where things were pretty much all set up. "Wow...I didn't expect it to actually be like surface light." Blinking at the workers. "Does it feel like sun?"

He didn't like this surface atrium, whatever the hell it was thing. It was bright and was more or less an exact replica of underdark...complete with working light and surface foliage and it looked like at least butterflies were being introduced. Though his mind was still fighting with itself, trying to get him to turn around and go back inside and tend to his child. But he just couldn't do it. Perhaps it was because he was afraid he'd do worse, or that his son would look at him with more than just hate in his eyes, or even worse than that...what was his wife going to do when she found out?

Speaking of Zykariel, the shocked few who had seen things were well...still in shock. Save for one young man whom came forward to the boy and helping him up. "Come along Zykariel, you should rest and I'll get the healer to look you over." Everyone knew to leave Zahara alone at the moment...but yes she'd be told first.

He spent a couple of agonizing hours between limping along to the healer and then actually having the various broken bones, lacerations and such healed. His father had really done one hell of a number on him. Zykariel spent a lot of time thinking about those words that had been hissed at him and why his father had been so upset. He knew both his parents believed he'd crossed a line with Cerrillia and her gang and he was beginning to think they were right. His mother was bedridden because of his little deal and that was while he thought he had it under control.

Then in his extreme insecurity but need to prove himself, he'd done one stupid thing after another. He'd been well aware of the horrible way he'd been treating both his parents but he'd never expected his father to snap the way he had. Maybe it was better this way? He didn't really know. Lying in bed, he tried not to shift his aching body.

She wasn't doing so hot. The potion had worked but carried with it some awful side effects. Or maybe that was just her lack of energy and the stress that was coming from bonds. Or maybe it was her pregnancy. Nauseated and lightheaded, she took a deep breath and ordered a cup of tea from one of the passing servants.

Informed that she was awake, they had all decided that since he had stepped in, he was the one that was going to be brave and deliver the news to Zahara as well. Oh joy and rapture. Thusly he waited for the tea and then took it into the woman, nervously scratching at the back of his neck as he handed it to her. "Um...Lady Inthara. I think I need to tell you something, despite you being so ill." Twiddlign hsi thumbs a bit before deciding to just go for it. "Zykariel we've put in bed to recover from his injuries..." And pause, take a keep breath because she was going to ask how and why he was hurt. "No worries, he'll be fine...just in some pain. Lord Inthara....beat him pretty badly." And hold breath.

She took the tea with a grateful, albeit forces smile, and sipped the soothing liquid slowly. She blinked at the servant for a bit, not quite comprehending what she'd just been told. "He...beat him?" At first she was thinking a few slaps and that was all but then it clicked that her son was actually injured. Quieting for a few moments, she scanned bond waves and nearly cursed. Sevilin was upset and Zykariel...well, she wasn't going there. "How badly?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:59 pm

Foolish him for thinking he was going to get away with slim explanations. "Um...enough to draw blood, break a few things and so forth. I mean it was all easily healed. But he isn't saying much and I'm not sure where Lord Inthara is." Not that they had really looked but hey had to tell her something. Another nervous movement. "Is there...anything I can do?"

He looked nervous and she felt bad for him. "Don't worry. I wont' kill the messenger this time." Everyone knew how her temper could be and she was pretty sure that was why they were playing it safe. But this time her own body hurt too badly and felt too awful to get that upset. "As long as he's going to be okay." Her eyes closed and she leaned back against the pillows for a long time without saying anything at all. Only the tears slowly beginning to trickle down her cheeks gave anything away. "If you do see my husband...tell him I'd like to see him. And..tell Zykariel I love him."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 22, 2008 11:45 pm

He let his breath out, not sure if he was more afraid of her or her husband. This was not something that was going to go over well at all. Or blow over for that matter. "Yes, he'll be fine." Though that instructions were less than pleasing and he merely busied himself making sure she was comfortable and dabbing at her cheeks to mop up tears before a nod. "Yes ma'am." Leaving her to herself he chose th less of two evils first, going back to the boy and checking on him, bringing him something to eat with him. "Here's something to eat, which you should or your mother will be angry." Pausing a moment, "She told me to tell you that she loves you."

She let him remove the traces of her tears but didn't move to help him in anyway at all. And once he left they just began to run down once more. Things had gotten so messed up somehow...

Having your jaw broken and then healed didn't lend much in the way of talking but he did take the soup gratefully and acknowledged his mother's message with a nod. He knew she knew what had happened but he didn't know what was going to happen next. "Is she...okay?" He was worried and couldn't help it.

"She's...upset but otherwise okay. Looks like the antidote you gave her is working, just slowly. I got her some tea when I went to tell her what happened." Rubbing at the back of his neck again, not about to ask where the boy may think his father went off to. "If you want to go see her, you can. I'll help you to her room."

"You're going to wake up early enough, right? So they don't know?"

"Promise. They'll never know. This way your ankles won't hurt when we have to get up."

"But if they find out..."

"They won't."

"They always do."

"I'll tell them the truth, I'm to blame."

"They'll hurt you for it."

"But not you."

It was good knowing that his mother wasn't going to die because of his own foolishness. He knew part of what had set his father off was his involvement in this whole thing. It had seemed like such a wise plan from the beginning. Secure his family's safety and give up a bit of common information. Easy trade, no one really got hurt. Except his mother had...and now he had and because of it who knew what was going to happen between his parents now. "No, I can't." A shake of his head. "Watch her...please."
