Blinking some as the elf went into complete defensive mode. Which was endearing yes, but however not needed. "Something is wrong with Zahara. That's Sevilin's wife and mother to this little guy." Bouncing Kelligrin lightly and petting him on the back again. "I know Kelli, daddy is trying to take care of her so you have to stay with me and you can't have him yet either." Turning her attention back to the surface elf. "The only protection you're going to need, is fast feet, or restraints."
And he said he didn't need school. Well then...if things were going to change then the boy was going back to school as well. He should know that, it was a basic. Didn't need school...but letting his eyes go down to his wife as she squeezed at his hand. She was trying to help chain down what was yanking at them and keeping his hands from undoing the locks that held such chains. Flicker of an emotion across his features before his eyes went back to his questioning son. "Yes, it's done." Sitting on the edge of the bed and pulling his wife up, letting her lean against him.

She was just as displeased with her son's performance as her husband was. He should know all of these things, but he didn't seem to know anything at all. Extremely grateful to Sevilin who finally offered her some form of comfort, she rested her head against his shoulder and his hand beneath hers on her tummy. Moaning and groaning didn't really get her anywhere but oh, it hurt.
He let it sit for another few moments, allowing it to simmer as the instructions said, then ladled some into a goblet and handed it over. "Here, Mom. Drink this."
Zahara lifted her head and took a sip, tasting it to make sure it was made properly. He should have boiled it a bit longer but it would work. At least she hoped. For all she knew he hadn't even used the proper one. Drinking down the rest of the potion, she felt her breathing accelerate and cried out, then turned her face into her husband's stomach and clenched his hand even tighter.
He made a dissatisfied noise and then promptly burst into tears at the massive energy that was suddenly present. Massive energy meant bad things in his world unless it was his daddy or his brother and neither of them were around.

He merely held her upright so she could drink this stuff, offering what comfort he could without doing anything stupid. However, fate was against him today. Now what?! Had the boy gone and messed that up too in an attempt to try and look like he knew what he was doing. He could feel the stress rising from bonds tugging in several directions and nothing good coming across any of them. "Enough. Zykariel go watch your brother. You don't know what you're doing and trying to pretend you do is only making things worse. Get out." Shaking his head and whispering a few reassuring words to his wife. If he could get her to calm a little, then he could take this whole thing over and set it straight. But not with the boy around trying to play healer or his wife holding him in a death grip. So close to snapping.

That was probably the worst thing his father could have said to him. Effectively blaming him and treating him like a foolish child all in one smooth strike. His pride crushed, worry about his mother increasing and the fear that maybe he had done something wrong and now he was going to be held responsible all melded and caused him to snap. "Fine! If you think you can save her, then go ahead! You never wanted my help anyway, just to see me fail so you could be proven right. Well, you got it, Dad. Now you get to be the hero." Standing angrily and stalking off to another spot in the estate. Keely had Kelligrin anyway.
He could too help, dammit! And he knew exactly how. Sneaking out was fairly easy since his father was preoccupied and he was on Destyny and gone in a matter of moments, heading back to that meeting place to see Cerrillia. She was from Norrath, maybe she'd know how to treat the poison.
"It's not his fault, Sevilin." Taking another pained breath and shaking her head. The antidote wasn't an instant miracle worker and she knew she'd probably lost the battle with the poison. She was going to have little to no magical energy for a while until her stores built back up. "You can't have this in your system. Believe me when I tell you that. I've already nearly sacrificed one life to it..."

Cerrillia was informed long before he got there, and was waiting for him. she was wearing little to nothing, a flimsy cut away dress that was nearly see through. her sleeping clothes when she chose to wear something. but this was more from him then for her. he was going to be distrustful, angry, and she wasn't going to let him have thoughts that she might be hiding some dagger or something on her person, considering she was nude under the garment.
She let him within thier 'home' and it was her responsibility to make sure he didn't make things worse then they already where. she'd let him start this conversation this time.

He merely shook his head, staying quiet to his son's response. As usual his son took everything he said and twisted it till it sounded as bad as possible so he could use it against him later. More firewood to add to the hate fuel. Another reason for him to tell Zahara there was no use trying to fix it. What was the point even anymore? But he drew his thoughts back to his wife. Couldn't tell if she was better or not already. "No, but he's not helping." His mind was running so fast he could barely catch what he was thinking. "I am very close to snapping and just shaking you senseless right now, so don't tell me things like that." His tone flat and very humorless. "And I don't care frankly...if this thing doesn't work, I'm doing it my way. You can fight all you want."

"I can feel it working. If you let this thing in your system, you'll be dead within minutes. I refuse to let you do that and forcing me to fend you off with my diminished power could quite possibly kill me. Shake me all you want, but I refuse to let you do exactly what you're thinking about trying." She closed her eyes and focused, watching the black in her system slowly decrease. It was going to take a few hours to rid her body entirely of the poison but the danger zone felt like it had passed. Perhaps there was another antidote better suited to this sort of thing and perhaps not. She didn't fully know.
He might be a teenager lacking control of his hormones but even teens have a limit and Zykariel had about reached his. His eyes were flat and cold, raking her body with disinterest and searching for a vial or something that might help him. "I want a list of all your poisons and all your antidotes. Anything that any of you have on your person or access to, I want. Now. I don't have time for explanations or excuses."

"No. you want something specific. I can see it. what are the symptoms, and we can save time and trouble with you trying to go through a hundred different antidotes and recipes and get the right one first."
she made a gesture, and out of the shadow stepped Lianna, and a few motions of her hand and a large chest materialized beside Cerrillia on the floor.
"I have contacted Neriak. the queen is outraged that Gizdean would defy the chain of command, and get caught doing it. It puts things in bad light and other problems that come from people acting without the proper control."
she gestured him over to her.
"Give me what I need to know, and I will supply you with the quickest and proper antidote. The poisons of the Ebon Mask are not easily cast aside without proper care."

"I don't know all of them for sure. She was healing and she suddenly collapsed with convulsions and pain in her lower abdomen. My father tried to take the poison into his own body through magical transfer but she wouldn't let him. She kept saying it would kill him. Randomly she'd cry out and curl up into the fetal position as though horrendous pain were racking her body." A shake of his head. "My father said there was something on his dagger. He managed to cut her on her leg at some point and the symptoms have to either be tied to or activated by magic somehow. Poison doesn't normally sit dormant in your system for hours on end."

"I know what that is. it's a siphoning poison. but becuase you and your family harness your power internally, fusing your own life's essence thus vastly increasing your power, it's feeding on that internal magic. triggered when she went to heal herself, no doubt."
Opening the chest and looking for only a scant few moments, before picking out two vials with a orange liquid.
"these counteract the poison."
and then handing over two more, that probably looked familiar glowing blue as they did.
"These will feed her energy levels. and please, Zykariel...don't let his actions ruin what was going so well between you and I. I would still like to learn what you have to teach."

"Which is why I said if." Going quiet again and really in the quiet all that was audible was their breathing for a length of time. In his head he was screaming and carrying on, but he had always done that privately now hadn't he? It was part of being crazy after all. Quite unhappy at this point and there was nothing that he could do about it now was there? He had burned some bridges too and he knew that. Not a pleasant thought. "How you feeling now?"

Muttering the words of protection Giedia hoped that it will protect both her, Keely and the baby from whatever was going on in the fort at that time. After the spell was cast she asked "Do you think we could move to a different location Keely?" "I want plan out the best way to escape from her unharmed at the least,' she thought to herself.

"Please, I know how magic uses up an elf's enegry, there's no need for you to waste yours right now. And if you would feel more comfortable someplace else, then you can follow me. I have some things to direct for my Lady's anniversary present and word came earlier that such things are arriving. It sounds as if things are calming down here and these two will call on me if they have need of me." Hugging at Kelligrin and trying to soothe the poor thing. "I know baby, you're not happy. How about you come and help me too, hm? Be my big strong elf?"

He wasn't happy and neither was she. Her stomach was still spasming and she could feel the gradual slipping away of the blackness in her system but it was taking far longer than she'd originally anticipated. She was as pale as a dark-skinned elf could be, sweating, and her whole body was still trembling. "I'll be fine."
He snatched the two orange vials, tucking them away, then grabbed the blue ones as well. "She wasn't healing herself." Which made it all the worse in his book because she was killing herself by being selfless. Violet eyes narrowed suspiciously and snapped up to hers. "You promised my family wouldn't get hurt. My mother is dying." Turning on his heel, he stalked out of the house and jumped on Destyny to get back to Twilight as fast as he could. Racing back in, he hurried into the room where he'd left his mother and glared daggers at his father. "I have something that will actually help." Handing over the two orange vials.
He hid his face against her shoulder, rubbing at his eyes with his fists then nodded slowly with a sniffle. "Okay." As long as his mommy and daddy were going to be okay.

"Yet you still look like death warmed over. Not convinced." Merely holding her because he really couldn't do anything else and she indeed did look like she was doing better. Quiet again, merely monitoring things before his son was back. "No doubt from that woman." Who he was sleeping with on top of it. But his eyes went to Zahara then, "You call on whether you want to take it or not." She knew that he was untrusting of most such things and would protest, but he wasn't always right when it came to such things.
