Azora smiled, she was glad that she was able to finish before dinner, though it was hard with all the extra noise. She made her way into a door to her right, where she presumed the food would be. She was right, though not in the particular room she wanted to be in. She looked around with blind eyes, it was dark..... well..... she supposed it was dark and she smelt pickled and salting things everywhere, the storage room was cool and dry, great to store things in. She made her way up the wooden stairs and into the hallway, bumping into someone whom pointed her in the right direction. Down the hall she went, dodging random people with strange accents, her long jacket bugged her and she took it off and hung it with the rest of the cloths in a room she found (laundry room) and took off the kilt as well. Feeling a whole lot lighter now that she was free of an unnecessary disguise, she gladly made her was to the galley, where she bumped into Eva. (she has her ear plugs on)

ooc: ACK! Sorry so sorry Dx I was major busy this weekend! Had no time to get on at all

Xinrie nodded slighlty, now grinning as her attnetion left the arm band. "Great! Yes! Finally a new sqaud member....uh...you aren't gonna like just disappear on meh and send some stupid letter later on explaining why...are ya?" From all the times beforehand where her squad amtes just up and ditched, she really wanted to make sure about it this time.
Gene raised his right eyebrow at her question. It came to him as somewhat odd that people did that to her, and made him wonder why. "Hm... that's an odd question to be asking unless it happens commonly." He took a moment to smirk and put his right index and thumb fingers on his chin and begin rubbing it tauntingly.

"I guess it all depends on whether or not you give me somethin to do, babe." Seeing as she was desperate for team mates, he took on a bit of more trust with her, enough to speak casually with her like he just did-- and with a bit of a second-meaning joke, as well, if one was on the right mindset which he purpousefully indirectly suggested by rubbing his chin and looking at her with a rather 'peculiar' interest.

Ofcourse, it was just a joke. He was the kind of guy to use that kind of innuendo just for fun; your average soldier's humor.

"Teheheh, You mean like gouging yer eye out with this spoon? Then you could wear an eyepatch like some pirate." She jested at the new member as she brandished her spoon like it was some kind of knife, placing her right booted foot atop the table in a funny looking stance. Her response was of course a joke. She liked this person so far, he was reasonable to say the least and he had a good sense of humour. Her mouth turned into a sneering smirk. Ike, Aka Birdboy simply shook his head.

The mercenary's right eyebrow raised up further towards his forehead, as he heard and observed his new captain's 'threat', his face turning into a fake unamused glare. "Well, that wouldn't be the first time I lose an eye, I guess. Though, I was thinking of something with less of a 'gougy' motion, involving more than just one 'in and out' motion about the head, you know?" His usual smirk returned to him.

Well, she was fun; avoiding the subliminal subject though, which is why Gene gave her another teaseful, less indirect taste of visual imagery.

She loved changing subjects when this sort of thing came around. "You mean you wish fer yer head to become some sort of basketball? Being dunked in and out of a barrel? That can be arranged." Her smirk grew wider as she jested more. Looks like some crude sort of game had een started, lets see who ends this.

Gene finally chuckled. "Yeah. Going in and out of one very tight barrel, that's for sure." Fine, he'd use her own words against her. She'd probably go on and take it extremely literal just to bathe in the opportunity to give him the slip, but he wouldn't let her go that easy, even then.

"Very soft barrel despite the tightness, I hope. I wouldn't want to think of my dear captain as anything less than perfect."

Wow. Quite the stretch there. Whatever, he'd apologize if he had to. 'Better ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.' It's always more entertaining that way.

"Ah, Katsu. looking cheery as ever." She had narrowly sidestepped Azora as she wandered through the galley. "I suggest that you sleep as much as possible before tomorrow. If a pirate lays a hand on you, stab him somewhere unimportant. Like in the testicles." She said this loud enough that two nearby pirates, who had been giving the pair sidelong glances, hurriedly turned in amongst themselves and began loudly discussing the weather. "See you tomorrow morning." She headed off to the cargo hold, where she'd made up a bed for herself.

The following morning, she woke before most of the pirates and began readying the skiff. There was an air of tension over the whole ship: everyone knew this would be a trying day. As the sky began to lighten, she was mildly surprised to see the First Mate pacing nervously back and forth along the opposite side of the ship. he looked exteremely agitated, and did not appear to have slept well.

"Looking a little green there." She said. He started, but regained his composure fairly quickly.
"I've been on shore for a while now. It's just taking a little more time than usual to get used to flying again." He was again fidgeting with his pendant.
"You've been wearing that thing nonstop. Can I see it?" She did her best to sound honestly inquisitive and a little slow witted. He laughed shortly, more of a bark really.
"It's been in my family for ages. It means we used to be doctors, it's a ring they'd show to get into important places." Eva nodded. That didn't sit quite right. She decided to keep a very close eye on the mate. She had a nagging feeling that there was something more than that, though. She couldn't quite put her finger on it though.

"Hai!" Azora smiled, she was so happy that she was on a mission and hurriedly ate some kind of pickled vegetables and salted fish and then hurried off to her quarters, with the direction and redirection of some crew members. She spent nearly half an hour rejoicing in the fact that she was on a mission and then after that she slept like a stone. The surrounding crew members were scared when she suddenly stopped jumping on the bed and making a racket and simply and silently turned off the light and went to bed. It scared the, a lot.

In the morning Azora woke up to her usual body alarm, 7:00, though it looked more like 5:30 here. She dressed in her school uniform, as having no need for a disguise an longer and stretch. She bent low and touched her toes, the floor and then used her palm to try and touch the floor boards but to no success. She went about her morning routines before deciding to get some fresh air. She saw ...er.... heard the first mate and Eva talking and had a slight suspected that some love drama was going on. "Good morning!!!" she shouted over the rushing sound of wind at them.

Brian had spend the night on a caffeine rush after the other. After all, he had to drink 3 liters of mountain dew each day, only to keep their supplies at a reasonnable level. So, he had deccided to invest some time in a nice and peacefull construction of a induction pistol.

The base was really easy to do. Just wind a coil about a meter long around 4 pieces of threas, and add a switch to controll plarity and a solid woodblock against the other end.
Now, all the gentleman had to do was to fill the pistol with junk, ajnd turn it on. The junk would be magnetically sucked towards the woodblock. BUT, with a little touching of the switch, the polaritys would change and the magnetic force would suck out the contents of the pistol.
He had to admit, that it was not very scary if a weapon that required an autobattery for 100 times firing was able to accelerate empty patron shells to such a force that they would go through 4 inches of wood at 40 meter distance, it would have been better if it was 4000 meter and 12 inches at least. he recallibrated some resistors and consistors.
Soo, the deck filled with life, at least more then during the night-shift, and he finally could see the captain, so he put the finished pistol over his shoulder, and wandered up to her.
"Hi Captain eva! Tech support ready for fighting the good guys. So, I have been admiring your work with the skiff, and the second one that beginns to look rather sick, but when am I actually going to fly that sucker? I mean, right when we have enemy contact? or when I have gotten my bags in the skiff, then we start it up, and it just glides behind us on a long rope? Just wandering. Hope you slept well, after all. "

He grinned at her, and played with his pistol, that was now filled with some razorblades he had fished out of the rash and some needles.

Ah Good, He could pick out words and use them well. This actually pleased her, atleast this one had a brain and actually used it well. The sneeer feel into a smile, she placed the sppon back onto the table with a nod of her head. "Good, Good, You can think I see. Well then if your done now talking such talk, I think its best if we get started on our first assignment." She got what she wanted out of the 'conversation.' And it was getting late. The bird boy heaved a sigh of relief, he was pretty sure The young Teen of a captain would have ripped out a knife and stabbed the rookie right in the eye after he had said something like that....Atleast thats what she did when she was thirteen to the last newcomer who tried something like that. Er...He never returned to Mishaps after his release from the infirmary.

After having got Sotako's arm repaired, the buggy swung into the garage. Pulling into a free spot, Hrisskar turned off the engine, and both him and Sotako hopped off.

"I'll see you later.", he said to Sotako.

Walking off towards the stairwell, he paused, and turned back round to Sotako.

"Captain. I was wondering. Would it be possible for me to spend some time in another world for a bit? I heard there was a portal room here, and always wondered what worlds there were out there. I may also need a bit of help getting the the room anyway, as I never went there in the tour."

Noting the pondering look on his captain's face, he added, "Of course, it'd only be for a couple of days. I don't want to impede on any squad missions that may be coming up."

((I need to work on more depth to my posts... >.> Always been the thing that I lack on, I'm afraid. Of course, it could also be due to the fact that it's 8:30am, and I have to go to a lecture like... now. >.<))

Sokato of course had a spare trench coat and extra-dark tint sunglasses sitting in his ware house. The sunglasses start to slide forward like always and like always Sokato pushes them back up so they sit higher on his nose. They always seem to slip off for some reason. Sokato also has a duffel bag full of extra parts.

He starts off back towards his office when he turns around to respond to Hrriskar. "I am going to request a new mission for the entire squad. We will be leaving soon and depending on the mission, we might even leave tomorrow." He said in almost a monotonous voice.

"The last thing I need is one of my squad members in another dimension or world while we are about to leave on a mission." Sokato starts to walk off towards his office. "You never know where the next mission might take us. Any way see you later....." He stops walking for a moment trying to remember his codename. "Just get some sleep Rusty." He continues to walk towards his office.

He unlocks the door and throws the bag in. Then immediately heads towards the commanders office. He stands at the oak doors and knocks waiting to be allowed in.
