Seph went over to the spider and pulled out her sword. She used the side of the blade to roll it over and to poke the spider. She frowned "It shouldn't be here. This type comes from a totally different part of the world and gives out some nasty poison."

"Don't worry, he is always grouchy in places like these" Ulquiorra grinned.

"But don't elves and demons and whatever else have different smells depending on their type and homeland?" Alpha asked

Dargrim nodded "Aye but underneath it all they all give out a distinct smell personal to their race. It doesn't matter where they come from dwarves always know. For example you smell like a typical Demon Alpha" Dargrim looked at Alpha's face "Relax it's not particularly bad but this thing smells like a mix of elf and demon..."

Suddenly they stepped out into a room covered in darkness and Dargrim said "Aye....a trap"

A figure stepped from the darkness "I see you've arrived at last"

"I think its a guy, most likely trying to stop us from going any further" Satoshi answered with the dark having little effect on the ninja.

Felina fired an arrow into the neck of a fiend that was behind Oassu, she quickly spun round casting holy. The spell took out another two.

"Yep sounds like the typical sort of person sent to prevent further progress, and you said it yourself Dargrim that it didn't smell exactly like an elf " Alpha pretended to ignore Zadina but began to put more power into his fire spell.

Seph cast ultima killing a wave of fiends in front of her "I hope your not suggesting we turn back"

Ulquiorra sighed "Thanks Gareth but that was just as vague as Carbuncles description". Directly in front of them was a large metal door.

Itaka kicked the door open "We don't have a choice anyway"

The shruiken spun at Zadina then proceeded to spin around Zadina until it stopped harmlessly on the ground at his feet.
"You cannot hope to defeat me...AEROJA!" He said as a huge tornado blasted at them

Oassu grinned "course not!" he kicked away another spider "these don't seem too tough anyway" as he spoke a larger figure stepped out from behind the spider it snarled at Oassu and brandished it's blade "Uh....Lizardmen...ok I've gotta plan!" he stepped back and grabbed Seph and Felina drawing them close before disappearing in a puff of smoke and reappearing out of the circle of monsters ahead of them "Now lets go!"
The Lizardmen turned and sniffed the air turning and roaring at them

Itaka shook his head and pointed at the elf trapped under the door.
Gareth noticed the odd outfit the elf was wearing "You...you are one of their scientists correct?"

The squirming white-coated elf nodded still struggling to remove his foot from under the door.

Zadina turned directing the tornado after Satoshi while Dargrim squirmed
"Uck....dwarves ain't supposed to move this fast" he said.

Oassu stopped and summoned up fire dragons again sending them back to deal with the monsters chasing them. "Sorry Felina I'll need to work on it...even so I don't think I can do it again...takes up more chakra when I take more people we better make sure we don't get trapped"

As Ulquiorra spoke an elf appeared from behind a large machine drool falling from his mouth. With an inhuman roar he rushed at the white coated elf claws outstretched.

Itaka stepped forward and sliced through him "It won't help if he's dead then now tell me" he turned on the scientist "Why'd he attack you?"

Before the elf could answer more elves appeared a crazy gleam in their eyes. Gareth frowned "They are not right of the mind" he noted the froth and newly grown claws in their hands

The fireball exploded sending fire all over the room.
"You fools....do you honestly think I would go that easily?"
He reappeared out of a dark warp behind them "Now....try your luck in the dark realm" He raised his hands palms up and a dark bubble surrounded Dargrim....then another around Satoshi and another around Alpha.

Inside the bubble all was darkness Satoshi? Alpha? Dargrim cried. Slowly he became aware of small fiends surrounding the edge of the light he portrayed. Zadina's voice spoke out in the darkness "Welcome to the dark realm"
Aye right this place cannae hold me
"I beg to differ" The voice responded "yet I do think it will be interesting seeing how you fail to escape"

Oassu paused "I thought you had to make a pact with the demon realm to be able to warp?"
He noticed an opening ahead. A large roar rocked the hall "That ain't good" he muttered. A large stone door slammed down behind them "That is good!" Oassu smiled a bit.
