Yes, let's revive this thread!
I got a pocketwatch, a few books, Wii Sports Resort, and De Blob (a Wii game). I'm also toying with the thought of making a rather large purchase with my christmas money...

Have you heard about the remake of "A boy and his blob"? I loved the review that X-Play gave it.
"Oh my god! That thing just exploded out from inside that frog! I should have seen it coming- this is the kind of boy that pushes anvils off of cliffs on his enemies. He must be stopped before . . . " *boy lovingly hugs his blob* "Ohhhhh, they're so cute!"

I didn't know they remade that game. *looks up the vid review* That is hilarious! I need to start watching more x-play reviews (and less of the biased IGN reviews).

I am very fond of X-Play, their show often gives just the right amount of humor to reviews. My only real complaint is that they don't do more reviews. Specials, award shows, and the like cut into my desire to see games get a review! I mean, I like some of the games given a half-hour devoted to them, but overall I want to see their take on several games.
And don't get me started on E3! A week of games you can't get for at least another six months?! stare

Ugh, E3 is irritating. I hardly pay ettention to current-gen console games anymore. They're mostly over-priced and crappy. I'm not saying that PC games aren't, but there's a much wider variety to pick from and Steam's generous sales help. I mainly stick to searching for games for old consoles like the Sega Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast. Those generations were the pinnacle of console gaming... *wanders off into his nostalgia*

I admit I'm spoiled anymore. I have trouble playing FF7 because of all the text to read rather than listen to . . . FF10 did that to me.
Though I am enjoying a bit of Chrono Trigger on the DS . . . looks and feels sorely old-school, but is still fun!

Chrono Trigger is a blast. I do have to get around to finishing it someday. I'm stuck in the far future, but I really don't want to use a guide/faq.
I suppose you could always unspoil yourself by watching subbed anime instead of dubbed. xp
*plops down and watched some goold old geneon/pioneer anime* cool

Fair enough. I understand as I generally prefer and only watch English dubs. However, I will make exceptions if I hate certain English voice actors, if they change the voice actors midway, if too much content has been edited out by companies like 4kids or funimation, or if the series hasn't been officially dubbed in English.
