Jak glanced over to the corner where Quinn and Mikey were sitting. He needed to talk to Quinn, to apologize for his part in the scene at the coffeeshop, but perhaps now was not the time.
"Coffee angel?"
Just as he said the words he thought again about the coffeeshop, the scene fresh in his mind.
"Perhaps not....home to the bookstore?"

Lacuna thought momentarily.. coffee fresh in her mind.
"Either would be just fine for me, coffee is well, coffee. It's got to be better then getting wasted...", she smiled and winked at him.

Helping her up, he rose, a questioning look in his eyes as he slipped his arm around her waist.

Lacuna kissed Jakkin gently on the cheek before rushing over to grab her guitar and bag, returning back to Jakkin's side rather quickly.
"Shall we?", she said.

Jak placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

Picking up his hat and placing it on her head, he led her to the door.

PockyFille Burnt Glitter That''s true. I haven''t seen a movie in a long time actually. Do you have one you''d recommend. May be we could get everyone together and have a movie night. ((is okay. I''m running on dryness. Feel like I''m getting sick so I''m going to bed)) ( i can''t think of anything at all coherent to say. XP ) *Xil grabbed Bird's hand and went over to the couch and woke up her sister* I think it's time we went home. None of us have slept yet....well other than you Zoe. I think sleep might be a good idea for Harbird and I though.

"Mmm....old friend....his name is Quinn." Nick said with a nod, holding out the pieces of broken glass in his hand that he'd picked up for her to throw away since he didn't want to go behind the counter. "He was with some guy.....I just thought....nothing, nevermind." he sighed and shook his head, then looked down at the counter.
"I....for pulling you over here without explaining." he said quickly, taking another deep breath. He was finding it very difficult to catch his breath now that he knew Nick was there. If Nick was there.....it meant Tammy was probably there too. And he wasn't exactly in the mood to face her.
Tammy looked deep into his eyes, as if trying to find something out. It wasn't that she didn't believe him....she was just shocked at how quickly he was able to say it back to her, since he always seemed so nervous. She suddenly wondered why she hadn't told him sooner. She quickly leaned on him, closing her eyes and keeping her arms tightly around him.

Lena took the bits of glass from Nick and tossed them in the garbage before looking back to him and saying "Oh... Quinn... the guy he was with, was probably my brother, Mikey....." Mikey moved to sit down on the couch, pulling Quinn down with him, he brushed his cheek with his thumb as he placed a small kiss on his lips, before saying with a smile "No worries, love..."

Jordyn walked into the bar and was overwhelmed, again, by the sheer emotion he could feel on the air. Wandering over to the jukebox he searched through it for something to match the atmosphere. "Ooh. Robert Smith sounds about right." Selecting his favourite The Cure album and hitting play, he then made his way to the bar.

Rohan watched her for a moment. He could tell she had something on her mind...not much but something. Saying it was good for him...good for them both. When she leaned into him, he held her close, lightly stroking her hair. "I..I'm sorry I haven't been a great boyfriend... I'll try to do better.."

The next morning after running off, Suru, finally, turned up in the Star, looking, to saw the least, rough. His face was puffy from crying, he walked crookedly, half falling over, from being drunk and eyes were bloodshot from being drunk AND crying.
He made it to the bar and laid his head down on the cool top, groaning softly and, promptly, fell asleep.

Jak shoved the doors open, his eyes searrching the room desperately as he pulled Laci along with him. Spotting him at the bar asleep, a deep sigh escaped him. He moved the two of them quietly to his side, anxious not to wake him.
He raised a trembling hand and gently stroked the tear-stained face he loved, tears in his own eyes as he turned them to Laci.
"Please angel," he whispered, "we have to find a way..."

Hearing the door slam behind Jak and Laci, Suru woke with a sharp, cringing recoil from the sound and a sharp groan.
"AIA! ******** me . . . . ."
He sat up, slowly, holding his pounding hea in his hands, the blood ruching in his ears FROM his hangover making his hangover headache worse it was so loud. If he saw the two, he didn't make mention of it.
