The robot girl smiled; that move was tricky to utilize, but it had its place. Maddie may have been a strange pony, but her moves were rather useful. And she'd put them to work... that cat was cute, but it wasn't an invincible hero. "Counter with Charge Beam!"
This Meowth certainly was a cutie with a booty... so much so that Maddie found herself almost hypnotized. She had to show her appreciation! But how? The Blitzle's ears perked up as she heard her trainer's orders... of course! A proper lightshow! She took a deep breath, pulling her energy towards her chest... and, in a blast of light, shot the Charge Beam from the front of her torso!

The boy almost cringed as he saw a phanpy showering itself in a pool that made a hot spring seem like a frigid pond. A nice, hot bath was nice, he couldn't disagree with the pokemon there if he could understand it, but there was such a thing as too hot and this pool punched a hole through the top of that chart. Still, to each their own, and Alexander didn't see any reason to bother the tiny elephant pokemon's shower, so the boy continued making his way through the hot environment in hopes of finding somewhere more tolerable to duck into.

Unfortunately, having seen the bath earlier, the boy was now rather acutely aware that he was overheating."Can't... Can't be much further..."Alexander mumbled as he forced himself to continue onward. He just hoped that whatever awaited him past the next handful of dives and rises, it would be at least a smidgen cooler.
The Scyther started to laugh at the Stantler's words as his jaws seemed to unhinge. The attack had caught him and he had paid for it in blood and pain, but still, there was a time which such a hit would have torn him completely apart.
Not now.
So he laughed, he laughed hard and long as each of the sharp teeth in his mouth seem to glint in the weak light. His eyes would soon fall back upon the Stantler.
(Childish, foolish, there was a time those words would have made him tremble, but you are weak. So much weaker than me that it's not funny. IF that is the best you got, then this is the end.)
Ricasso would push himself forward again.
"One more time, Use Quick attack."
(Guardian, you are no longer an interesting toy, goodbye)
The Scyther would make his move then and there using the exactly same charge from before as he headed for his opponent with his full strength.
The Meowth's tail would stand straight as a rod for a moment as the electricity ran it's way through her, bolting out from the tips of her whiskers. Unsurprisingly for a Pokemon that lived in a location such as this however she was quick to recover. Hissing, the feline would spin on her heel. One good counter deserved another! Flicking her tail in annoyance, the limb suddenly turned silver as she leaped through the air, spinning once. She was striking out with the one true attack she knew ">DAZZLING GLAM TAIL ATTACK!<" Otherwise known as Iron Tail.
'Cooler' was not however in the cards for Alexander as the ground beneath him rumbled. Rocks shifted as the ground began to split, and from within the planet's depths molten magma began to bubble up and spill onto the surface. Yet not even that was the end....and a small, clawed hand thrust out of the liquefied rock and metal. Like some terrible beast from the underworld, a Magby would rise from the lava, his own body heat preventing it from cooling. ">Surface dweller...<" It intoned, eyes shimmering like volcanic glass ">...this world is no longer your own<" Toxic fumes spilled from it's mouth as it spoke. It would seem the youth had stumbled upon some sort of invasion plot, and he was to be the first casualty! It would seem that the young trainer was in for a fight, not only for his life, but humanity!?
As the Stantler took the blow however, it would laugh, laugh in the face of it's own defeat. ">You are a child and a fool...<" His eyes shifted between the Scyther and the Human ">...which is which will be told in time.<" Body bruises, bones rattled, the Normal-type would still stand defiantly in the face of Ricasso's defeat ">Continue this arrogance, and you will be crushed. There are far more dangerous things on this island than I.<" Then silence, as the Stantler's eyes rolled back. He'd managed to faint on his feet, standing in defiance of intruders even now.
Yet there was one thing Shiloh shouldn't forget. He was the villain here. A bully fighting those weaker than himself, while the Stantler was only trying to protect those who called this place home.
Either way the child would find the path forward was now open to him, leading him out of the forest and deep into...
Mystery Mountain
After making your way through the deadly forest, the next thing you see is a huge mountain looming overhead. The worn stone path that swerves in an S shape back and forth leading up to the top. The second is the great gust of icy wind that hits your face. The temperature begins to drop drastically after taking the first few steps upward. Further on, several igloos can be seen on the left side. Be careful not to slip. The walkway is slick with ice and the more you climb, the steeper the drop. The winter wonderland looks pretty but not all appearances are as they seem. Who knows what creatures lurk hidden in the dark corners.
Ricasso would seem to grow stronger from the attack as he would watch the pokemon literally faint on his feet. A testament of his strength, but, the Scyther would only chuckle lightly.
(I hope so, it's the only way I can truly become stronger)
Shiloh would recall him at that moment. What was to happen next, he wanted none of his pokemon to be see it as he smirks wildly. He had hope his pokemon would only cause it to faint. He had wished the Ricasso would chop off his head.
he had been so conflicted with how he wanted this to end, but now, he got choice number one.
The boy would look at the ground for one of two things, a big rock or a stick. He would go for the rock as he picks it up from the ground and walks calmly back towards the Stantler.
The boy was going to make very sure that this pokemon never bother him again.
It was a derange look at he held it high over his head and aim for the side of the packmen's skull. Once it drop, he was going to bash it's head in. The smile play upon his face as he thought about spray out it's blood and enjoying it spread through the grass. It would be much in the same way as his pokemon's death. The hatchling had been killed from a move that tore him up from the inside. He couldn't do that, but he can get awfully close. Or at least, that was his thought, until he felt something bump against him.
A kick almost against his stomach as he drops the rock and looks down at the egg outside the container.
The pokemon within had stir. It was close to hatching, and he would put one hand on the shell as he smiles at it and then snorts at the Stantler.
"A life for a life. Somehow his was spared, so I won't take yours. Don't cross my path again, defeated guardian."
The boy then turned and walked away. He would move from the foggy forest into the cold of the mountain, and quickly, he wished he could huddle in the warmth of the hoody that was now serving to keep the egg warm. The Container would obviously do the job for the Spiritomb egg.
Shiloh had made a wise choice, for as he left the forest dozens of eyes watched him from the bushes and trees. Had he struck at the Guardian so dishonorably...things wouldn't have gone favorably for the child. Perhaps he had some wisdom after all...or perhaps dumb luck was the word.
Either way the boy would proceed into the cold and snow of the mountain peaks....though he wouldn't get far. On the narrow trail, the boy would find his path blocked by a small blob of fur. It's thick hair standing on end, the Pokemon gave an angry growl. Seemed they'd just stepped into the territory of a particularly irate Swinub, though by the twin icicles sticking out of it's fur it seemed like it fancied itself a Piloswine in the making.
Shiloh would look at the wanna be Piloswine as he smiles lightly at the pokemon. It was aggressive and seemed to have great aspiration for it's future. That almost made it worthy to capture, now if it show it was a good fighter he would take it along.
A Swinub would be a great addition to his party.
So, who to battle it? Neither of his pokemon had the advantage and both were at a disadvantage with this pokemon. Not, a good thing, so, he might as well give another one of his pokemon a chance to gain some experience. Thus, he would call forth not the Scyther this time, instead his more insane partner as the Pidove would be release into the air as the pokemon.
Though this time she wasn't in a playful mood as the cold hit her and she dove right into Shiloh's head in a desperation to get away from it.

Chai would coo.
Since speed was on their side, Shiloh would only shrug and point at the pokemon.
"The faster you defeat that pokemon, the faster you go back into your pokeball." It was needless to say, she wasn't going to wait on this pokemon to get itself together. She would stand up tall on his head and start to flap her wings powerfully.
(It's too cool, tea turns to ice. Ice tea is nice, but not when it's cold. So go away, go away, fly away home.)
The mud-slap did nothing as it glances against Shinx, who shakes it off with amusement. He had managed to get back to avoid a worse blow, but the fact that the Shelmet even touched him was interesting enough to entertain him. Poppy calls to Shinx, calling him back towards her. "No more attacking the Shelmet, I'm going to catch it." Though he would like to battle her some more, he brushes at his nose with a paw before trotting back towards his trainer. She pulls a pokeball out of her bag and presses the middle button to make it bigger from its previous golf ball size to a tennis ball, and she throws it towards the Shelmet to try and catch it.

Silentveil
The Swinub would stand its ground, fur still raised as it gave an aggressive snort. He was a beast of the mountains, where the winds cut like blades in the unforgiving cold. The mere flap of a birds wings were not going to send him running!
There is a lot that can be said of a bird's wing power, especially when trying to get away from the cold. The gust that Chai bought up would cut through the thick fur and cut into the softness of the Swinub as he tries to simply withstand it.
It would seem that the mountain winds had nothing on Chai. Though it wasn't enough to kill him, which, was actually what Shiloh wanted as he smiles at the Pidove as she lands back on his head.

She was pretty much doing a jig as she finally decided that his hair was the only way of getting warmth and she would seem to bury herself within his hairs. This was actually a pretty interesting situation as they both waited to see what the Swinub would do in response.
Zander would find himself in a most unusual place...
Brackish Bog
This is a place made of salt and death. Where fresh water from further inland brings all manner of dead plants to be washed out to sea, but over the years the route has become congested, the slowing of the current allowing new flora to grow over the old and increase the problem. This is a place where the living survive off the dead, so watch your step lest you become something's next meal; and don't drink the water.
>All are ruled by the stars.< A low, gong-like voice intoned over the floating rocks, ringing out over the path. The very stone Alex stood on shook, and it wouldn't take long to realize exactly where the sound was coming from. A Solrock floated before him, strange eyes fixed on the child. >Humans most of all. And as a star, it is my duty to rule. And I will make you bow.< Thus satisfied, it planted itself firmly in Alex's way; apparently, it was time to fight an egomaniac.
