Slainne Lockley And I'm one of those people who gets a ring-out in the series, then makes a point to fall off the edge of the map myself on purpose. That extra scream just kills me every time. I didn't think it was possible to not do this. I like to think of it as the winner saying, "I'm not letting you get away that easy!" Even if it means a very obviously painful death. Slash Zinrai Take what has always worked, and fine-tune it. Give this man a game dev job!

Colonel Iyam A Heita Probably... but fighting games imo only need gameplay... story and cutscenes meh...they add flavor but are not necessary if you have solid gameplay. Now if you are talking about other styles of game...yeah it's equally as important. I'm just saying if they made a real effort in one for the series, it's a real let-down that they didn't continue it.

I approach a lot of stuff that way. lol! It's one of the things about the Road Runner cartoons that always made me so angry! That ********' coyote would literally have an -almost- perfect plan...one thing would go wrong, usually an easily correctable issue, and then he'd scrap it for something totally different! Trial-and-error is only effective if you allow it to be. "Naw, that didn't work just right...TEAR IT ALL DOWN, AND FIND A NEW GIMMICK!" Burns me up.

Slainne Lockley I'm just saying if they made a real effort in one for the series, it's a real let-down that they didn't continue it. Most developers copy paste after the third game in a series... it's hard to be original past game 3....even Street Fighter has that problem. They just ham it up now.

Lord Haelstrom New Ippo episode depressed me. Partially because soon we won't have Ippo for x number of years. Partially because the way they depicted Nekota's conditions is/was disturbingly accurate/close to things I go through on a semi regular basis. Kinda awkward to watch. But the Coach arc is generally excellent.
The rate they release each new series worries me, yet I understand since they do not want to ever enter filler territory for a series. I cannot wait for Kamogawa vs Anderson. Dreading what is coming up for Nekota, but even reading ahead was satisfied at watching that Blonde a*****e dropping to the ground even if off camera.
The next series may not even start his Survival Match of Asian Champions, but we likely will have the rookie king tournament with Itagaki, maybe Ippo vs Karasawa and Take and the fight I want most; Mashiba vs Sawamura.So where are you in the manga right now?

Savoki Sanoci So where are you in the manga right now? I'm not too worried now that I see they're willing to replace VAs. It's sad we'll probably see more VAs cycle eventually, but it means time between seasons won't kill it, and New Challenger to Rising wasn't very long of a wait compared to... original series to NC. Anywho, I'm at the part where Iga ******** up Aoki and Takamura gets super raged about it.
