SolarInvictus ohai thar Mickey. owait, yous an intruder. ./glomps I CAPTURED THE INFILTRATOR! So on Friday, we were going over Truman and all his badassery. I liked how he fired MacArthur. "We need to nuke the Chinese!" "No" "What? Do you know who I am? I am MacArthur! I won World War Two! The people are on my side! I'll complain and everyone will listen! I am MacArthur!" "Well I am Truman" *boots* Lol. MacArthur was crazy. "Hey, we beat them at Inchon, let's push North! WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE!" Even though the UN victory at Inchon was really sheer luck and because the North Koreans hadn't finished planting all their mines. Of course, when they reach up to N. Korea territory, the whole waterway leading to Wosan, the major N. Korean port is full of mines. pwnd

My teacher was describing Inchon to me.
"The ships would only be able to get in for one day that month, and even then they'd only have a few hours before the entire place became a swamp. MacArthur even knew the landing only had a 5000 to 1 chance of working."

I feel horrible for laughing at this, but ohGod I love CNN reporters sometimes.
The announcer was like "we have news of another nuclear meltdown possibility, here's ______ with more information."
The reporter was like
"Just.. Just wait a moment, sorry to interruption, I need to ask the crew something."
*turns around*
"So how far are we from the explosion...?"
...*talking offscreen*
"Is... Is this North? Wait, what direction is the wind blowing?"
All of this is said with an "ohshit" expression. xDDD

"The ships would only be able to get in for one day that month, and even then they'd only have a few hours before the entire place became a swamp. MacArthur even knew the landing only had a 5000 to 1 chance of working." Good ol MacArthur. Well, at least the successful amphibious landing saved the Navy from getting its planes and ground forces taken away by the failforce and the army. It was a rather lucky landing, though, but most decisive battles and the like are like that in history (you're just not supposed to say that it had anything to do with luck in your history papers). Why yes, yes they did.

(I really wish I had the time and energy to color all this... xp ) For you who don't know, we wanted to play on Cleo's love for cats in an attempt to make her go easy on us, and thus we all went there as cats. 3nodding From left to right: Kats Kokeshi Doll, as Bibbles. The leader. Jennivieve, as Ace Meow. Attacker. Tasn Zheng, as Kitten Star. Healer. Leviticus Lo, as Cathulu. Attacker. Cleosombra, as Kitten Star. N00b. Lokun, as Cookie Boots.
