"Horrible...oh, galestar told of this. 'Star Slayers' I believe they are called...Dicepaw has some...issues, yes. I would be very proud of Spadepaw if she did end up leader...cats like her are the keys to saving clans...I wish your fellow birds good luck."
[She mewed with a dip of her head, her ears perking up to the sound of Embergaze's scared cries. She turned to Avalon.]
"If you want, i can pass your message on to Galestar, if that would make things easier."

[She saw a young cat laying on the ground beside her.]
Is this, it can't be! Oakpaw!
''Oakpaw! Oakpaw you're back! Mapleleaf what happened to her?'' She meowed worriedly for her friend.
[All the happy memories came back. Oakpaw and her were playing with their siblings. Joypaw moved closer.]
''Oakpaw, it's me Joypaw. I missed you, where have you been?'' She whispered licking Oakpaw's ear._____________________

[Icemane retreated into the warriors den] "If someone calls on me I'll come, or if I see an encouraging opening... Right now... I don't think I'll be welcome" Icemane muttered to himself as he fluffed up the moss that surrounded his nest and quietly sat down and fell into slumber.

((Peperpaw and Spadepaw are now mates leaving Joypaw heartbroken. Dicepaw and Joypaw plotted to chase Spadepaw out of breezeclan but failed because Avilon, Galestar's eagle mother, who scared them strait. Serpentpaw had her first lesson and is currently out hunting with Wavepelt. and Oak was found half dead out in the woods and is being taken care of. i think i just about got it all :3 no, wait, and cometstream isnt crazy anymore. ))

((That's about what I got, too. Man! I might have to keep Oak dreaming for a while longer, with the crazy way you guys are posting! I know I never was the most active poster before, but with work and everything now I'm even slower. But I'll do my best not to let you guys down again.))
[Oak was wandering aimlessly in the forest she'd hidden Softheart. Her fur stood on end at each familiar sight and the chill they brought to her. She kept walking, hoping against hope to run out of her memories. Even a place she'd never been before would be better than this torture!]
"Go back, Oakkit."
[She whirled and found herself facing Softheart's familiar whiskers. At the sight of him, she froze. She didn't want him to run off again, at least not until he told her what he meant.]
"Where, Softheart? Where do I belong?"
"Go back--" Softheart's likeness mewed before fading into the shadows. Oak sighed, weary deep within her bones.
"--To your family."
[The words resounded in her head to the point of being painful and she cried out, suddenly being lifted up above the trees. She was looking down into a dark meadow where two young cats lay. She could tell that one was seriously ill, his breathing labored. The other cat paced restlessly around him, constantly stopping to lick him. It took a moment for Oak to realize what she already instinctively knew: Softheart was showing her their last few moments.]
"Stop it. Softheart, I'm so sorry. Please, stop it," she murmured, fixated on the scene.
"You don't belong here, in the past, my sister. Yet you cannot move on untill you've been forgiven," Softheart mewed quietly from behind her.
"Then please, forgive me, Softheart. Please... I never meant--"
"Not by me, Oakkit. By yourself."
"How can I?"
"THen you will be trapped here forever."

Embergaze
To live is to slowly be born...

[Embergaze bowed his head beside Oakpaw's limp form. He let out a sigh.
It's been a while, but it's necesary... he thought to himself.
He could sense Oakpaw having a dream, and he knew he'd be pulled into it. So he decided to speed things up a little.
He closed his eyes, then went limp. His soul stepped out from his body.
Immediately, he was pulled into Oakpaw's mind.
He was watching Oakpaw pace around her brother. His breathing was labored, and with horror, Embergaze realized the kit was dying. He shuddered as he watched Softkit spasm in pain. Oakpaw ran to him, mewing something desperately.
And then Softkit died.
Embergaze closed his eyes, not able to bear it.
When he opened them, he saw Oakpaw alone, trembling in the forest. Softkit's voice echoed, Forgive...by yourself...
Embergaze padded up to Oakpaw, a soft look in his eye. He brushed her gently with his tail.]
"Oakpaw," he murmured, his fiery gaze calm, "it's time to come home now. Everyone's waiting."

Stormtail New Warrior [Stormtail woke up from his nap, sleeping from shock of the golden bird in the Clan's square. He stretched his hind-quarters, purring, and then trotted outside.
He was in the clearing, when he saw a famillar figure in the distance. Oakpaw! Stormtail was about to run, but he stopped. He must wait, be paitent.]

"Jaywing!" A faint voice called to him. "Eaglewind? Is that you?" The tom wailed in response. No answer came. "Eaglewind?!" He cried louder. He paused for a moment to listen for a reply. Nothing. His voice strained to be louder, "Eaglewind!"

The grey-blue tom woke with a start. I could've sworn someone was calling me. Reluctantly, he climbed out of his nest. Brambles clawed at his fur as he exited the warriors' den. He padded to the mouth of the apprentices' den. "Saltpaw, let's go train. Today's assignment, hunting practice."
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels.

Larkcry sat in her bed. She didn't sleep at all that night. She had lain, in an attempt to find sleep, her cobalt eyes watching the others in peaceful slumber. Every time, her eyes would rest on Embergaze, but she'd blink herself out of a bitter-sweet fantasy. Mapleleaf had edged their beds closer, only a few suns before. Why can't I sleep with my pelt touching his? Why can't we share our warmth on cold nights? Why must this be an endless fight, only resulting in broken hearts?
I'm finding feelings I can't retain.

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen...  Saltpaw[Saltpaw moaned and positioned her head facing away from the opening of the apprentice den. She had just gotten comfortable after coming back from the gathering. And now Jaywing was bothering her. Though it was her fault, she had called out to him first.]
[With a great deal of mumbling, muttering and groaning, Saltpaw pushed herself to her paws. She shook her fur and made her way, purposely slow, to Jaywing. The only thing that kept her spirits at any sort of high, was the fact she would be learning how to hunt.]
"Alright. Let's go." [She said with a large yawn and a stretch that would rival the length of a snake.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find...

[Avalon shifted on her feet.]
"If you would, it would make things easier, yes," she murmured, watching as the leader ran off. "I must return to my flock. After all, I am sure entire Clan would not welcome giant bird such as I!"
[She spread her wings, tilting her head to get a good look at Cometstream before leaving.]
"Farewell, my friend. I hope our lives cross again very soon. Until then, I hope you and your adopted kits remain safe, along with all the BreezeClan cats."
[And with that, she flapped off, her wings beating furiously. There was a great gust of wind as the massive bird flew away, whipping at the trees. Finally, all one could see was her golden silouhette disappearing into the horizon.]
[Galestar watched as Embergaze's body went limp. He said nothing, simply watched with a worried look on his narrow face. He heard a flapping sound off in the distance and knew his mother had left. He sighed, wishing she had stayed longer.]

I might be easy to fall for...
"I think I'll allow for you to decide where you would like for us to hunt." The young tom felt unusually peppy. Perhaps it was the birdsong on the air. Possibly, the excitement drifting through the atmosphere. Whatever it was, Jaywing was in an abnormal mood. Happiness. Something made him feel as though, if he were to jump, he would float, hanging in the air. And if, while he was hanging, he were to move, he would be propelled forth. Flying, he'd be flying into the sun. A glorious glint in his eyes.
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels.((lalalala nothing to write. And I gotta get off soon. Grrrrr))
