Lunch had ended and Lakayna was now late for her next class. She had to resort to dodging teachers whenever she saw them in the halls. After forever it seemed like, the dragoness had searched through the entire school and had seen no sign of Roxas anywahere. Maybe he'd left the school grounds? It was likely. Lakayna considered leaving to go look for him, and even skipping the rest of the day. She'd be too worried about her friends to focus anyway. Maybe Namine could alter the memories of the teachers or something so it seemed like none of them had skipped the rest of the school day. It was a possibility, though the lavendernette couldn't bring herself to ask Namine; at least in light of the current situation. The lavendernette stole away from the grounds at the very back of the school, still intent of finding Roxas; or finding the others if they'd located Sora's Nobody first.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Things were silent for a moment as Sora led the two girls towards the beach. Kairi was first to break it, asking him if he still hadn’t heard anything from Roxas. He sighed slightly, then turned his head to look at her as he continued walking. ”Yeah, I told him that we were all worried and everything,” he replied. ”And I said that some weird stuff is going on so he needs to contact us. But… you know, it’s Roxas. He’s stubborn. Don’t know where that came from.” He stifled a quiet chuckle, hoping Kairi wouldn’t say anything about him being stubborn. He didn’t see himself being to defiant, but knew deep down that he was. For example, right now he was going against the school rules to do pretty much what he wanted/needed. And if any teacher came up and ordered him back to school, he’d argue it until something was threatened that he didn’t want to lose, like the dance tickets for him and Kairi. So yes, he was stubborn, but not nearly as stubborn as Roxas could be.
That was when Sora realized that Quest had yet to say anything since they’d left the school. Concerned, he turned around to look at her. She definitely didn’t look too happy, in fact, something about her expression looked pained. He supposed it had something to do with the fact that he and Kairi both felt like they remembered her but didn’t. Maybe that had hurt her feelings. He stopped walking and reached out to put a hand on her shoulder. ”You okay, Quest?” he asked, cocking his head to the side. ”You can tell us anything, you know. We’re you’re friends. We’re here for you.” He gave her a warm smile and looked back at Kairi for assurance. Even though he felt like he knew Quest from something other than school, he didn’t feel like he was at a disadvantage. He knew her now, and they were friends now. That was what mattered. And because they were friends, she could trust them to help her with whatever could be bothering her. He hoped she understood that and took to heart what he’d said, because he meant it 100%. ((I didn't have Sora notice Lakayna, but if you want, you can have her see them! ^^ ))GO TO SCHOOL!?!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi frowned a little when Sora confirmed that there was still no word from Roxas. The brunette told her he had told his Other that they were all worried and that he needed to contact them. He then went on to say that this is Roxas they were taking about, who was stubborn. Kairi giggled when Sora said he didn't know where that came from. "Hmm yes, where ever did he get get that?" The crimsonette asked with a sly smile. She then grinned and said, "Well it makes since that most of that stubbornness went to Roxas. There wasn't enough room for it in you, what with all that laziness floating about!" The Princess laughed, poking at Sora's side. She then looked embarrassed for a moment as she recalled, "Though you're not the only lazy one. If I remember correctly Riku had pointed out to me that 'You're just as lazy as he his'. So I guess we're a match made in heaven!"
Kairi let her laughter die as she saw that Quest looked sad. Sora asked her if she was okay, and told her that she could tell the couple anything. They were her friends and were there for her. The Keyblade Master gave her a warm smile then look at Kairi for assurance. The Princess walked over to Quest gave her hand a gentle squeeze and smiled, "Sora's right. We're your friends and are here for you. I'm sorry if what I said before upset you. Don't feel bad. Even if I can't remember, it doesn't matter. We're here now, and we can make a whole bunch of new wonderful memories together. "We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Lakayna searched for an unnamed amount of time, eventually ending up at the beach where Sora, Kairi, and Quest had gone. She spotted them and started jogging towards them. "Hey guys!" the lavendernette to get their attention before skidding to a stop a couple of feet away. Lakayna insantly noticed Roxas wasn't with them either. "No luck for you guys either I'm guessing." She crossed her arms, looking to the sand at her feet. "Any luck contacting him yet?" The dragoness didn't know Sora still hadn't contacted Roxas.

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.The Princess looked away from Sora and Quest for a moment as she heard a familiar voice call to them. "Hey Lakayna!" Kairi smiled and waved as she saw the dragoness come up to them. The lavendernette noted that they hadn't had any luck either, seeing that Roxas wasn't with them. "Yeah nothing yet..." the crimsonette sighed, a little crestfallen to see Sora's Other wasn't with her. Lakayna then asked if they had had any luck contacting him. Kairi sadly shook her head. "I just asked the same thing. Sora's tried a couple of times now, but Roxas still hasn't said anything yet. We're under the impression that Roxas' hurt (from seeing Naminé and Riku) and stubbornness is the reason why he hasn't replied yet."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Quest jolted from her thoughts when she heard Sora's voice and a light blush tinted her cheeks. Was she that easy to read? "It's nothing, really." A whole bunch of new memories.... That sounded nice. She smiled at Kairi, but it felt sad to her somehow. Her smile lighted up breifly when she saw Lakayna and she waved to her friend. But a frown graced her features when Kairi said he was hurt and being stubborn by not responding. "Maybe...It's more than that." She said quietly. She couldn't be sure, but maybe some force of darkness was doing something to the connection.... "I really can't be sure, but something tells me it's the same thing that hurt Riku. Or at least, an ally or something similar to it.""" And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember.....

The lavendernette raised her golden eyed gaze to look at Kairi as she explained that they still hadn't contacted Roxas, and that he might be hurt like Riku had been and his stubborness was keeping him from responding. Lakayna looked to Quest when the girl mentioned soon after that it could possibley be more than that. "What else could it be?" she asked, confused. Who had caused all of this to happen in the first place? Lakayna's eyes glanced at each of the three faces in front of her. "No idea who could've done this either. Hmm..." She closed her eyes, resting a hand on her cheek in a thinking sort of pose. "Can I see Riku? Maybe if I could read his memories, I could possibley see who did this to him. Maybe the same person is even responsible for whatever happened to Roxas."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora raised a brow at Kairi as she responded to his comment about Roxas. When she told him that there wasn’t enough room in him for all that stubbornness with the laziness floating around, he pouted and crossed his arms. However, she quickly backtracked and said that she was lazy too, at least according to Riku. This made him break his expression and smile. ”See? It was meant to be after all,” he told her, laughing. That was when he turned away from her and tried to comfort Quest. Kairi did just as he intended and backed him up, saying that she was sorry if what she’d said offended her in some way. And then she said that even if they couldn’t remember her, they would just have to make a whole bunch of new memories together. He nodded, agreeing with this. Quest claimed that it was nothing, but she seemed a little happier after hearing Kairi’s words of encouragement.
Another voice reached the group, and Sora turned to see that it was Lakayna. He was glad to see her, though his face dropped slightly when he saw that Roxas wasn’t with her. She pointed out that obviously they hadn’t found the Nobody either. She then asked him if he’d tried contacting him. He opened his mouth to reply, but Kairi beat him to it, explaining that he’d tried but got no response. ”She’s right,” he added. ”Which is weird, because usually he’s pouring his problems on to me…” His voice trailed off as Quest spoke up, suggesting that maybe it was more than just Roxas’s stubbornness that was preventing him from responding. Maybe something similar to what happened to Riku was happening to him. This had crossed Sora’s mind at one point, but he’d dismissed it. Roxas would have contacted them for help, right? Who could severe the link between a Nobody and their Other? That was a power he wasn’t aware of. Still… it was a possibility. Lakayna seemed to agree, then closed her eyes to think. When she opened them again, she asked if she could see Riku. That way she could use his memories to find out who attacked him, and maybe find a clue to where Roxas was, and what he was doing. ”Good idea,” Sora commented. ”Okay, so let’s backtrack to Naminé’s house and get to Riku. Maybe he’ll be awake now, so he can tell us what happened. Just in case something dark blocks his memories from you.” GO TO SCHOOL!?!

"I don't think darkness blocking any memories will be a problem. Only thing I need to worry about is getting Riku to agree to letting me see his memories," Lakayna replied. They started back towards Namine's home soon after. (not my best post.)

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Quest's eyes held mild nervousness, but it didn't show anywhere else in her body language. Didn't Namine say that they had put a shield of light over her house? What f she couldn't get through? What if having Tesqux inside her prevented her from going in? Questions whirred in her head like a flood, one question leading to the next. No, she reassured herself. Of course that wouldn't affect her. She was herself, the childish, loyal Quest. Tesqux was the darkness in her, only the darkness. The darkness that she, like Riku, had stowed away. She had no control over her...Right? She nodded absently. Absolutely. When Tesqux joined her, she wasn't struggling, no will to break free. She had been willing...But was she really? A voice in the back of her mind answered her, a voice that sounded horribly like Kiera and Tesqux put together. 'No....She/I wasn't.'The voice said in a sing-song, menacing way and Quest frowned, stopping momentarily. No, this isn't real. Kiera was gone and so was Tesqux. Stop living in the past, Quest. She scolded herself for getting nervous over nothing and ran after Sora, Kairi, and Lakayna. "" And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember.....

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. As Sora agreed to what his girlfriend had said about Roxas not responding, Kairi was glad to see Quest smile again for a moment. She frowned along with the other red head though when she said that what had hurt Riku might have done something to Roxas as well. Lakayna asked what else it could be and the Princess shrugged and shook her head. She wish she knew what was going on. The whole situation had her very worried. The dragoness then came up with a good idea. She asked to see Riku, saying that by reading his memories she could possibly see who had hurt him, and maybe find out what happened to Roxas. "Good thinking Lakayna!" the crimsonette smiled just as Sora had said "Good idea".
The brunette said for them to backtrack back to Naminé's house and see Riku. He added that maybe Riku would be awake now so he could tell them what happened, just in case something dark blocked Lakayna from seeing the silvernette's memories. The lavendernette didn't think that that would be a problem. The only thing she was worried about was getting Riku to let her see his memories. Kairi could see why, since she knew Riku wouldn't be too happy to share those.
As the four of them headed for Naminé's light protected home, the Princess noticed that Quest had looked nervous for a moment. "You okay Quest?" Kairi asked walking a bit closer to her, slightly concerned. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora cocked his head to the side as Lakayna said she didn’t think anything blocking the memories would be a problem. He didn’t know a thing about other people’s memories and reading them or whatever it was that Lakayna could do, so he didn’t argue that. She then said that she was more concerned about Riku not wanting her to see them, to which he stifled a laugh. ”Well, he’d better let you see them,” he replied. ”This is serious. I don’t think he’d be willing to put everyone in danger to keep his pride. That’s not Riku. Besides, he wouldn’t want Naminé getting hurt. But you’d better not say anything about us being worried about Roxas’s whereabouts, because I don’t know if he still has bad feelings about him and wouldn’t let you look at his memories because of that.” He thought that would be rather selfish, but part of him couldn’t blame the silvernette. After all, if someone that had been trying to take Kairi from him was in trouble and he held the key in helping save him, he would hesitate too. But in the end, he would make the right decision, so he was confident that his best friend would too.
Sora looked behind him and Lakayna to see that Kairi and Quest were kind of lagging in the back. Quest still looked troubled, and it was one of those days where Sora wished he had Lakayna’s powers. Of course, he could just ask, but he had a feeling Quest would tell him if he did, so he decided to let Kairi try to get through to her. Kairi was a great person to talk to, so he figured that if anyone could get Quest to confide in them, it would be her. So he turned his attention forward again and they continued towards Naminé’s house. It wasn’t long before they were going up the dirt road to the little house protected by a dome of light, and one person caught Sora’s attention. ”Hey, Blink,” he called, waving to the boy. ”What are you doing up here? And skipping class?” Blink didn’t really seem like the type to skip class, so this surprised him slightly. But maybe he was worried about Riku too, in which case he understood. But he’d let the boy explain that as they closed the distance of a few yards to Naminé’s house. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora stopped walking when he reached Blink and grinned to suppress a laugh as he waved back and dropped a bag. Obviously he was trying to hide something, but it was too late now. The brunette picked up the dropped bag and looked at him, a little curious as to why he sounded so nervous when he greeted him. He supposed it had something to do with the bags, but he wasn’t about to go snooping around in someone else’s business, so he handed it to him without trying to look inside. Blink asked him a quick, casual question, which gave him an opportunity to ask. ”I’m okay, I guess. Worried about Riku, Roxas, and all,” he replied honestly. ”What about you? What’s up with all these bags? Here, let me help you out.” He was pretty sure he wasn’t supposed to know what was in the bags, like it was a surprise or something, but he didn’t see any harm in helping carry them, as long as he didn’t look inside. And he had no intention of doing that whatsoever.
So Sora snatched a couple bags from Blink, not waiting to get an answer. ”Don’t worry, I won’t look inside,” he assured him, carefully positioning the few bags he’d grabbed so that he couldn’t see inside them. ”Hey, if you’re not in any hurry, do you want to come with us to check on Riku? You’re a good friend, so if we find out something, I want you to know too.” Sora may not have known Blink that well, but he’d helped them fight Heartless on many occasions, and so he wasn’t opposed to having him come with them. He’d been here anyway, and he supposed that he’d been on his way here to check on things anyway, so why not? Besides, he’d been there when they’d found the force field, so he had to be curious about it, and the easiest way to find out what had happened was hearing it from the “victim” himself, or at least through his memories read by someone else. So he assumed a slightly more comfortable position and waited for Blink’s answer, silently hoping he would hurry so that maybe he’d answer his other question about the contents of the bags as well. GO TO SCHOOL!?!
