zephyree kiriko Question : what do you think about artists selling prints of pics you commissioned them to do, without writing "oc belongs to xx" on the print, next to their sig ? (NB it shocked me when I saw a Nausicaa print on Da, and at the time the guild was down, so I couldn't ask your opinion, and then it happend with this pic... DO NOT bother Luc_iole with this, I'm just asking for your opinion, because I know she's a very nice girl who wouldn't do anything wrong, she reinked the pic entirely to make me happy, if she does it I'm sure it's because it's okay for everyone, I'm probably too possessive anyway, I just want your point of view ^_^) bara did the same too for the print. i don't really care about his, i don't think a lot of people would buy a print of a character someone else own... well, i personnaly wont... blaugh jana art is sex, fabien (the man in my life) offered me the commish coz i was too poor to afford it... Personally, it bugs me. I don't mind if they want to sell prints, but it bugs me if they don't put copyright information on it if it's my character. Especially as some of my chars ( like Sabin) I actually intend on doing things with in the future novel-wise.

Artoki is back on dA, for those of you that have been waiting for a response.
As far as current conversation goes, yeah...I did ask her to credit the characters to me if she was going to sell the piece she did as a print. It's a little dfferent than a straight commission because it was a contest entry. But they're still my characters, and she did get an August '03 letter for the piece.

Songjewel Artoki is back on dA, for those of you that have been waiting for a response. . YES! HOMG! I finally heard from her! And! She (almost) Finished my first commission (though I have yet to hear her reply as far as whether she is willing to do the 2nd one I commissioned her for back last Nov/Dec. But at least I heard from her - and I am MOST encouraged!!!!! All she needs to edit on this is to add Samantha's runes heart

Wow... Such lovely pieces of art for everyone. Definately makes me wish I had a job and could commission more people. crying WIP of Kalsam by Synister.  Ears were done a bit long, but at least they weren't sticking straight out from the head like the first sketch he'd done of Kal. 4laugh So I'm fine with them.
