Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...

Adell glanced to Jet, confused as he dropped to his knees. Before them, appeared another man, seemingly from nowhere, who looked a lot like the one whom had saved them just a moment ago and attacked Eli. He just stared at Eli, approval in his eyes. He kneeled to the boy, and form a ring in his hand. "I know how you're feeling.." the man said, to, to which Jet just looked to him, confused, Adell, mirroring his confusion. This Jorden explained to him, "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." This just confused Adell even further. Basket ball, and being a ninja were quite a different thing. Jorden set the ring he had formed into the boy's hand and told him lastly, "If you have love for the game, or a love for something, you're gonna go that extra mile to make it worthwhile.", and faded away. Adell's attention quickly returned to the other Jorden, as he had attacked Eli. The shockwaves had slammed into their opponent, hurting him badly, and sending him flying. This Jorden faded as well, as Eli himself began to fade into the mist, the Monster's head in his hand. "You two might have lived today..but I will hunt down both of you..and kill you...do remember this face.. this mask.. these blades" Adell glared out at him, calling out, "And we will be waiting to put you down." And the mist faded, along with Eli, and he was gone. Adell turned to Jorden, looking over the remains of the area. "Jet, Are you alright? I'm really confused, but I think something amazing just happened." He stepped past him. "I think we should leave this place. I understand the basics of this place now. I want to learn more." (3x)

It was hard to believe that something as small and harmless such as a basketball could do so much damage to the scarecrow. Whoever this person was he was no ordinary basketball player, or warrior. It was almost comical to see two Genin perform justu from an element that would one shot any creature but a basketball the size of what was the official size used in the national basketball association was what won their victory. When Eli took the concussive jutsu, he took so much damage from it that he was unable to go on and battle. Exactly how much power was behind that attack to where it could one shot someone as strong and merciless as Eli? Jet Kazama may never know but he was not going to argue. They had done it, they have finally won! Eli the scarecrow from the moon was not slow to give his revenge speech. He made it clear that it was best not to forget his face, the enormous blade he used to kill the innocent, or the hideous mask; it will be the one that would come back and get the revenge he thought he deserved. And suddenly, his body became intangible, turned into a mist and was gone from hidden Volcano. They had brought peace and prosperity back to Jet’s town, even though the two boys had taken part in the destruction as well. But that was the type of destruction that was necessary in order to prevent further destruction.

“Looking forward to the date…” Jet replied as he watched the last remains of the mist; his fist holding onto the ring that was given to him. Confusion filled his thoughts, along with his new friend Adell. “I’m fine…” Jet told him. The force push he took earlier didn’t harm him that badly to where he was feeling it outside of battle, but he was just disappointed that the majority of his attacks didn’t even faze Eli. “Yeah, I got new bling and we finally took down the scarecrow.” He continued, showing off the ring like the prized possession that it was that Micheal Jordan gave him with his left index and thumb. “It’s probably just a normal ring but at least we’re recognized for our work.” Part of Jet wanted to become stronger, to begin his training again immediately; pick out his mistakes, find out how he can turn them into strengths, make sure what happened here would more than likely never happen again. Adell was thinking the same thing. He had seemed to forget about the training session that Marasol had orchestrated for the both of them when they arrived at Hidden Volcano. Jet at the moment forgot as well and, while he wanted to get back at as soon as possible, he didn’t want anything to do with it right now. Even the greatest ninja in the world maybe thought it was best to leave; he had learned everything that he could and wanted to move on. Jet wasn’t sure how, especially when he only took a look at some of the techniques that were performed. But maybe the guy was just a quick learner like Jet; he certainly was a great help that was for sure.

“I’d like to go…” Jet told Adell, followed by some bad news. He was going to tell him that perhaps it was best if he stayed behind and try to help the village out; part of the village that was damaged anyway. But before he could finish his sentence he heard the footsteps and the voice of who was gone for the majority of the fight say otherwise. “So let’s go. The others will take care of thing here.” Jet was a bit foolish if he thought that Marasol was just going to be one of those that were going to sit behind and do dirty work while they go off and have fun. But truthfully she remembered what the lady told her and she had to make sure that he stayed safe for now. She even spoke as if things were going to be okay between the two of them; no sign of being worried or terrified anywhere. Jet Kazama asked her if she was sure, and if it was best if she stayed here. Marasol admitted that it was best if she stayed behind but at the moment she was going to travel to the hidden flame village, which meant that Jet Kazama was going to the hidden flame village. She said she knew someone out there that could tend to his chakra pool along with Adell’s. The energy that Jet Kazama was giving off was…higher than before but lower than it should. Did he get stronger during that battle?

“So if you guys are ready, then let’s head off to Hidden Flame, unless you had other plans Adell?”

Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...

“Looking forward to the date…” Jet said after Adell. In his hand, Jet held tightly onto the ring that had been given him. There were so many unanswered questions from what had just occured, yet it was the case. “I’m fine…Yeah, I got new bling and we finally took down the scarecrow.” Jet reassured him and and then continued optimistically. Adell looked to the ring in Jet's hand with awe. though Jet admitted, “It’s probably just a normal ring but at least we’re recognized for our work.” Adell nodded lightly. He raised an eyebrow as Jet said, “I’d like to go…” Adell was about to respond when Marasol approached, telling them, “So let’s go. The others will take care of thing here.” It seemed so odd for her to say that. After all, she had spent her time gathering the people of the village, she had left the two genin, meanwhile, to deal with the danger to the village. Of course it was necessary to help the people out as she did, but after, helping the people in the beginning, she decided at the end to just move on without staying to help. It would be one thing if Adell did it. After all, he wasn’t even from the village, but she and Jet, from what he could tell, truly found this as their home. Adell had taken the time to look around while she spoke. It was true what had been said, the area had been badly damaged. From the start of the attack, numerous lives had been lost. Thankfully, Marasol had gathered those remaining in the area and helped them escape. Then there was the collateral damage. As the fight had begun, there wasn’t all that much collateral damage. Then the Monster Showed up. With his appearance, things really picked up. Eli had raised two large caverns in the middle of the area. One was around the house, the other just out in the open. The effect did some damage to the surrounding buildings, and stood out against the low “relatively” earth of the volcano’s mouth. The Monster had raised lava within one of the caverns, and which still glowed inside the cave. A natural lake of lava nearby had been alter significantly, the surface cooled by a large amount of water, used from the blood technique that the monster had released. Then, of course there was the house that had once stood among the many others, enveloped by the cavern, and then destroyed completely, imploded using that sabotage technique. With the Monster’s death, Adell, Jet, and Eli’s fight renewed. Adell had raised a 20 meter layer of lava around them, and used it for a tactical advantage on land…in the process, leaving a noticeable small body of lava in the middle of the village. Then there was the lava globs technique and the burning stones technique. The attack had bounced off the gong and went flying in all directions. Houses were hit and the land was dirtied. Only through the actions of Marasol had no one been hurt by it. The steel wire attack left significant damage to the entire area’s housing. The boil release as well left some houses with rather large openings. Lastly, Jorden’s attack left a small crater in the earth. Jet asked her, "Are you sure?" She said "it would normally be best to stay behind. At this time, though, we should be going to hidden flame. So if you guys are ready, then let’s head off to Hidden Flame, unless you had other plans Adell?” " Adell shook his head. "I'll follow. It will be the perfect place to gain a better mastery of the use of fire." With that, he went after them.(3x) ((moving to hidden flame.))

Ahead of the others, he headed back. He headed down the mountainside, not taking the rode, once again. He rushed down the mountainside. He formed a hand seal, concentrating as he drew upon the tree climbing technique. He managed to use this to maintain his balance this time. He moved with the grace more resembling a ninja, then before, where he just resembled a fool, tripping and falling down the mountain. He moved ahead of them, looking back. It was a few minutes, but he eventually reached the bottom. He turned for a little while and just waited for them. Eventually, when they did reach him, he raised a hand to urge them on. "Come one, Slow pokes." He stuck out his tongue before turning around and moving to lead them. He began running, trying to beat them to their next location. the village hidden in the flame was quite close to hidden volcano. He entered past the village gates, smiling. He glanced back towards the others, already rushing ahead. He had no time to waste. He had to get better, and he had to do it was quickly as he possibly could. He first moved to the village's library. He began to gather every single scroll he could get his hands on, and began to store them in his back pack. Naturally he would have to return them later, but for now, he would need to get to work. He headed towards their training fields, unknowingly likely forcing the other two to chase him across the village. He reached the training grounds, taking a moment to breathe heavily. He took out his back and opened it up. He grabbed the first scroll he had and opened it up. He began to read it over, sighing as it was a scroll on genjutsu. He knew it was inevitable that he would have to learn more about it. It dealing with genjutsu during the chunin exams, he had experienced genjutsu first-hand. He lacked skills in dispelling them. He read over the scroll again and again, and reread it until he made sure he ahd it down. He didn't fully understand it, but he did know the basics. To use a genjutsu, one must not only preform the hand seals, but, rather then using a nature transformation, one must focus purely on chakra control and direction. He formed hand seals and he released his chakra into the air. He could feel it flowing out from his form. From there, in theory at least, he could direct the chakra into a person, and doing that, would allow the genjutsu to be initiated. Once it was made, he could direct the illusion into a person he was again. He could use this same idea, perhaps, to form a means of countering it. If he could gather his chakra, when under a genjutsu, and redirect it. If he could use control of his chakra to stop the chakra flow, or even reverse it temporarily, allowing him to completely dispel the genjutsu placed on him. He then kneeled down and began moving through the scroll. He found two major genjutsus. The first was the Burning Daydream technique. In it, to the eyes of his opponents, he would appear to his opponent as a great avatar of fire. He closed his eyes and ran the thoughts through his mind. He could imagine it. He was enveloped in a gentle but powerful flame. He would grow above his opponent.

He imagined in his mind, exactly whom he would face. He recognize the perfect opponent. It was that b*****d, that b*****d whom had caused so many deaths in such a short time. It was the man whom had escaped his just desserts, when he had nearly been beaten, by Adell, and Jet, and their helper, the one and many apparently, Micheal Jorden, one of whom had brought down the masked, ninja, and the other whom had showed their belief in jet's potential. Whom Adell had imagined, was none other then Eli. He could see the monster cowering before the great fiery being that Adell had become within the imagined genjutsu. He ended that. Next, he opened his eyes and looked around the area. He concentrated on the second genjutsu. It would impair the vision of his opponent. He imagined carefully, the entire scene shifting, a second image of the real thing forming and splitting from it. He continued to maintain the chakra flow through the area to the best of his abilities. He breathed in deeply, and then slowly released the seals. His chakra flow ceased entirely. He closed up the scroll, and quickly replaced it by grabbing a nearby scroll. He opened it up and began reviewing it. It was known as the inner fire technique. The user's body would warm up, as it would enhance the movement of his muscles. It would also make his body stronger against heat, providing him from some protection against fire. He formed hand seals and concentrated. With his concentrated. His chakra flowed readily through his body, as a great warmth filled him. He jumped up smiled as he went rather high up. He landed carefully. He stretched and moved, and shifted. He felt full of energy from the technique. When the time came, it would be really useful, and he would be ready to fight. He released his chakra flow. He kneeled down and exchanged the scroll with another again. He opened it and concentrated on reading it over. All this reading was really putting his mind into overdrive. It was kinda giving him a headache. He wouldn't stop though, not now. He had to be ready for what lies ahead. The chnnin exams were coming closer and closer to the for-front, after all. He went over this unique taijutsu style It would be a useful method that he could even combine with his other taijutsu styles. He faced a nearby tree and began to think. Trees had chakra systems, if he could test out this technique on it, he could confirm it's effectiveness. The technique, known as the Flaming Hand's technique. Although it didn't actually use flames, the chakra that formed around the hands was shaped like flames. Each strike with his hands would drain chakra from an opponent and absorb it into oneself, allowing one to restore their own chakra, while reducing an opponent's chakra. He quickly slammed his hand into the tree's surface. From the strike, a small amount of chakra flowed out from the tree into him. The low chakra of the tree and the single small strike would only restore a small amount of chakra. Of course, he would have to make sure his attacks with this hit. He took out another scroll, reading it over. This was the foot trap technique. It was another close quarters ability. He would first channel chakra into his foot, similar to the tree climbing technique. It is a stomping technique, that is used to disable an opponent's movements. He gathered his chakra into his feet. He then raised his foot, and slammed it into the earth. The earth cracked and bent inwards, making the perfect trap.(3x)

Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
User Image
Adell quickly moved onto the next scroll. He didn't have a real mastery of fire element creation quite yet, however, with this next jutsu, he would be able to at least get started. He read through. the basic idea of the technique was to place one's hand on a metal object. One would then run their chakra through it, transforming it into heat. The level of heat in the metal would rise rapidly. It could make the metal red hot. If it reached a state like this, it could be used to enhance the damage of his weapon. He he managed to touch an opponent's weapon, the technique could allow him to either disarm his opponent, or scald their hand, depending how stubborn they were. He pulled out his mani-axe and looked to it. He concentrated, taking a moment to breathe. His chakra flowed though his hand and into the metal of the axe. The axe's properties made it impossible to break, and allowed it to cut through any substance. Honestly, such a technique on this blade seemed unnecessary, given it's abilities. Yet, it seemed clear that this was the most likely one to survive in case he screwed it up. Of course, at the same time, if he did screw up, he was lose a very valuable weapon. He didn't really think about that though. He concentrated, as the metal began to heat up, the wood being save to touch. He smiled, as he could feel the warmth flowing out around him. He kept this up for several minutes, and only stopped after the blade became red-hot. Raising it in the air, he smiled with excitement. He turned to the tree from earlier, and pulled the blade back. He took a deep breathe, before swinging it. As expected the blade went into the wood with ease, and with enough force, it slashed straight through it. the tree came crashing down. He turned his attention then to it. In the area of the tree he cut through, he could see visible burn marks. Of course, this didn't really matter all that much given what the axe could already do on it's own. He moved to a nearby lake and kneeled, placing the blade in the water. Steam rose off of it as it cooled down. Once it was safe to touch, he calmly replaced it on his back with his battle axe and blade. The technique he used, was of course known as the Embrace technique. Next he had begun to look over a scroll less based on jutsu and more on mental factulties. It would teach him how to use a suture kit. He would have to find one though. He rushed back into the village and went into a store more basic ninja supplies. He had to look in the medical ninja section to find it, but he succeeded. He bought the kit with some money and quickly rushed back to the training area.

Hedoro Koutai
"Hedoro Koutai receives one Grim Token for Noze and Kawari!"

| Hmm, I wonder... If Hedoro were to enter the game, would she become a Guardian instead of a normal class? Lol. I can actually see The World not knowing how to place her in the game and Hedoro being put into the game as a Guardian. And not just any Guardian either. Every time someone would summon a Guardian it would be her. Summon ten Guardians at once? All Hedoro. Ha ha. xD Anhow. Sorry for such a long wait. Decided to give these two a Grim Token each for the wait and also for rping with me. And I don't mean to give a crap kill like that, just figured you earned one kill by now. >.< Let me know if you want to draw the fights out more or if you'd prefer to get the kills over with. |

xxxBoy this girl was really going for it. But GeininX was glad that she was engulfed in that Guardian. That gave him a good idea. He doubted that he could easily tire her out, but if he could create a number of Guardians then she might focus on them. And in that time he could find a good place to isolate and then trap her. Because, let’s face it, not even GeininX assumed he could beat her out in a thumb wrestling contest let alone a fight based on her attacks. He pulls himself to together and gets to his feet. He was a little wobbly but he’d pretty much grown accustomed to the pain from her attack. It even reminded him a bit of a punch from the Crimson Knight, just about thirty times harder. He readies to create the Guardians when he notices Randal rushing forward and towards his direction. What was that little guy up to? GeininX slowly turns his attention back to the girl only to realize she’d done in the Guardian and was already a few feet in front of him. As she launched her attack, all that GeininX can do is block. He does so as Randal shifts into the path of the strike.

He takes the full force of it and then disappears into dust, almost disintegrating pixels. But before he does, in a freak accident, a kunai that had been in Randal’s pocket flies free and impales GeininX in the chest. The Morgana grunts from the pain of the object in his chest as it also begins to disappear. It had hit a pretty hard mark to hit on someone, especially while they’re blocking. It stuck GeininX right in the heart and he died almost instantly. Like Randal, GeininX’s form would disintegrate and disappear. And that seemed to be the end of that. But would that end the girl’s rampage? Or would the others that are left behind feel her wrath?

Kawari made no move to alter the path of her strike, even when Randall burst into her field of vision, shielding her true target. Before she can follow up, however, the minute remnants of her processing power latch onto an apparent error in her vision, as her target, and the one who protected them, both seemed to dissolve into nothingness, fraying at the edges almost like a vastly sped up footage of an eroding stone. Within an instant, both Randal and GeininX are gone, without a single trace to show they were ever there to begin with. That's... impossible, though, isn't it?

Kawari remained in the same stance as she'd been in when her attack made contact, one foot back and to the side, the other forward and pointed at a slight angle to the rest of her. Both arms were still in the middle of an attack, one fully extended with the claws that had replaced her fingers clenched together to create a single lethal point of impact, while the other arm had been in the midst of winding up for a further attempt. Her eyes still glowed that same baleful red, but they focused on nothing in particular as her head tracked first right, then left. Her enemy had disappeared; he had to have gone somewhere. But she couldn't see him, she couldn't tell where he was.

Noze watched from a distance, still perched on top of a large cubed pillar of stone, unsure of just what had happened. While she had believed what GeininX had told her, that this entire world was artificial, seeing something like what she'd just witnessed appeared utterly impossible. People didn't disappear when they were killed! If they were killed, she hadn't seen the exchange closely enough to know for sure. They might have only been knocked out, but they had still disappeared. What now? GeininX was the only one that could return them to the real world, had he abandoned them?

Looking at Kawari, she wondered if the mechanical girl was still dangerous. She had stopped, was that a good sign or not? There was only one way to tell, and one she didn't relish. Jumping down from the tall stone, she cautiously approached the girl in the white dress, coming to a stop a handful of meters away. She spared a moment to wonder just what had happened to GeininX and Randal, if they had managed to get away, or if they had in fact died. She hoped not. Both because they were her only way out of this mess, and also because they had been potential allies. She'd only known them for a short time, but they had treated her well. Still, she had to see if Kawari had calmed down, too. But did she dare?

Hidden Flame was their next destination. It would be the next destination for Jet kazama to study more about the element of fire, plus the next destination for him to have his chakra pool attended to. In addition to it, they were also going to have a nice meal set up for them thanks to Marasol working her magic; though she didn’t mention that small bit to the fellas. She left that part as a surprise and maybe their hunger levels would not be so high when they arrived at hidden Flame. The two of them looked towards the direction of their destination, watching the energetic Adell past them up and show that he still had something left in the tank. Marasol wasn’t sure how much he had specifically but at least it was enough that his chakra allowed him to perform the tree climbing technique this time around. She wasn’t sure if she could take another tumbling from Adell on accident. The two of them followed suit behind Adell, initiating the tree climbing justu skill to follow the same path that the greatest ninja in the world. Shortly after they were back on flat ground around Hidden Volcano continued following behind him, keeping their own speed and staying behind. Marasol was not in a rush and it was seen in her movements; her eyes glanced over to Jet Kazama every now and then in curiosity. He had spent a lot of chakra during that fight, for the level that he was at, but now it seemed that his chakra levels had increased. Normally that didn’t happen for Shinobi that were from these parts. But Jet Kazama wasn’t a normal shinobi; he had a bloodline that didn’t exist on these grounds. The variables that rested inside of Jet Kazama were what made it difficult to discern. For example, was it because his body was conditioned that he had raised his chakra pool during the fight with Eli. Or maybe it was because of his mark of the asura that allowed him to increase his strength after he was defeated. There were many questions such as these that would soon be answered in the future. For now, Jet Kazama had a few questions that were on his mind that Marasol was going to answer as they were lagging it a little bit behind the trail of Adell.

Jet Kazama had asked Marasol how did she end up getting out of trying to rebuild what Jet and Adell had demolished during their battle with Eli. He was surprised at her response when she told him. It turned out that she had somehow convinced those who had survived the slaughter of Eli and made it to safer ground that Eli had caused the majority of the damage and that she had to see if Jet was okay, since technically he was under her care. If she had told the superiors that Jet and Adell were the ones that took a few hands in the destruction of part of the foundation of Hidden Volcano, the chances of the two of them staying behind and getting lectured and having to clean up their mess was high. Unfortunately for Jet Kazama his chances were much higher than Adell, since he was not raised and didn’t have much of a relationship with those of Hidden Volcano such as Jet. After she told Jet that information, he began to slowly see behind the veil that her words were designing and came to the conclusion that somewhere between getting everyone that was in the zone of Jet, Adell and Eli to safety, she was watching the fight from a distance! Marasol with no tone of regret in her voice admitted that she was indeed watching the fight go on from a distance and telling Jet in a joking, apathetic tone that they did not seem to have needed her help. If Jet was down and out for the count, perhaps she would have intervened for a while to take down Eli, but that didn’t come to reality. “I’ll remember that next time I’m watching one of your fights and you’re getting your butt kicked over the place.” He told her.

Hidden Fragment: Mac Anu to Passed Over

xxxThe figure examines their hands a moment before sighing heavily. “If he hadn’t have gotten in my way, I could have turned the tables. Someone special like me, the twinkle in Hebiguso’s eye, it was obvious I could handle myself.” The scarf around the youth’s neck twists and shifts in the rough breeze before drifting off to one side and then behind him. “Seems like I may have undergone a change after being killed. That’s interesting.” Steel gray hair seems to rest against the back of the male’s neck and shoulder blades, glowing turquoise eyes focused on a structure before him. One of his eyes seems to have strange lines in them, as if digital. As he nears the structure in the area, standing in a revive and transport location in Mac Anu, he hears someone running towards him. He can tell from the way their feet connect with the ground who it is or who it might be and decides to head out before they can speak with them. Once their body disappears in a streak of color, they are transported to the field that he’d just been sent away from.

He would appear at the center of his former combatant and her accompanying female friend. "You all miss me?" GeininX would have rather he'd attacked than have just given word of his arrival. It was the better thing to do. But he didn't want to risk sending the girl into a berserk if she'd finally come to. Besides, he wasn't too excited to get things rolling again. After the beating he took before, he was more interested in keeping from getting pounded on than on fighting her to see if he could manage a win off her. Not that he would. He thought he was hot stuff but GeininX carried very little power. He was lucky to have revived... somehow.

User ImageUser ImageHidden Fragment- Bursting Passed Over Aqua Field(Wrong one last time)
Noze was still a short distance from Kawari; she still hadn't fully committed to her idea of seeing if Kawari had returned to normal or not. From what she'd seen of the battle, Kawari was faster than she was, by a wide enough margin that she could very easily end up like GeininX or Randal if she wasn't careful. Like them, or worse. after all, they were natives to this strange place that was apparently not a place at all, while she was a guest. There could well be rules present that governed death and rebirth that she was not privy to. Rules that, without the knowledge of, would bar her from coming back. Death and rebirth were a cycle she understood well enough, in the real world. But was it even similar here, or was it even more dangerous?

These thoughts kept her from hailing Kawari, and potentially saved her life, such as it was. A moment later a soft sound could be heard, this only audible because of the otherwise silent surroundings where they found themselves. Turning her head to the side, a short distance away a series of shifting rings had appeared for an instant. Even as they faded away, a figure materialized inside of them. It was GeininX. Wasn't it? They looked a bit different now, there was something slightly unusual in their appearance. Specifics were more difficult to pinpoint, but who else could it be? As he spoke, she nodded almost in spite of herself. Not necessarily as an answer to his question, but more to the fact that she had hopefully confirmed it was indeed GeininX. "You're alive? But I thought... didn't you just die? Well, whatever passes for death in this place..." Her response dwindled off as she realized she was beginning to ramble. There was more to this strange place than she had first thought, if death was overcome that quickly. That was MUCH quicker than the reincarnation of souls that she was familiar with!

Kawari responded to GeininX's presence, too. She didn't immediately attack, which was probably a good sign. But neither did she relax from the odd stance she was still in, arms hung limply at her sides as she stood, feet braced wide while her center of gravity was held lower. Such a stance would allow her to move rapidly while taking away some of the more obvious tells that would indicate her direction. Her eyes, still glowing a deep red, locked on to him for a moment, a few errant sparks firing within them. Finally, her voice rough to the point of seeming wholly artificial, she spoke. "Subroutine anomaly detected; failsafe mode undergoing maintenance. Reboot Y/N? Hardware security status: pending. Further data required." Whether she was expressing her own status or asking about GeininX's, it was impossible to say. But she didn't attack immediately upon seeing him, so it might be a good sign.

Grimace Works
Potentially, but making them all look the same would just be sloppy, so she'd need to jazz them up a bit. Heck, even Grunties had a whole slew of versions. Including my plushie one.

Well, whichever works best, most of my characters have somewhat stalled out, so without outside inspiration none of my characters are finding much to do.

The two decided to pick up the pace and run towards the Hidden Flame destination as Adell called them out for their slow speed compared to his. Jet could be seen behind the two of them as his teacher suddenly took off without warning. Before that Marasol let out a light laugh under her breath when he saw him stick his tongue out. In battle he was a good ally; using a dangerous element such as magma but having a level of control to where his allies would be unharmed. And yet outside of battle he was a free spirit almost, unfazed that he was dealing with a rather powerful genin ninja and that somewhere out there they lurked, waiting.

The land of flames was close to the land of Volcanoes, which was a good thing. If it was completely in a different region such as the village hidden in the sands of the village hidden in the leaves, then they could have let Adell beat them there for all they cared. At least when they finally arrived they would not be passed out. Then again that was what boats and different types of transportation was for. Jet Kazama had been at the village of fire many times with his friends and such but he had never experienced it fully. Or in other words he had never explored the entire village. Depending on how long they were going to be here, perhaps Jet would be able to finally do so with Adell and Marasol. After all he had learned everything that he could learn back at the Volcano village. So It would be good to get used to a new environment for a little while.

The greatest ninja in the world took no time to waste when it came to exploring. But instead of going towards Marasol’s direction, he was heading towards the library. If Marasol was told to watch over Adell then she would have been stricter and would have let Adell know she was serious in tending to their pool of energy. However that wasn’t the case. Speaking of guardians, where were the kid’s parents in all of this? Or his allies? They know that he arrived at the Hidden Volcano village obviously but did he not travel with friends? With the amount of chakra that he had it would have been implied that he would have at least made a few people to tag along with from the Academy to his native village, to here. If she remembered she would have to ask him out of curiosity, unless Jet beat her to the punch.

If he did so, then it was something that she wouldn’t mind at all. As mentioned, it was if she remembered. But what she would not do is let Jet Kazama run off and leave her in the dust, while he went to go with Adell to look up information in the library. She had a hunch that it would be techniques that the fire nation offered. She commended both of their passion to learn and become stronger but they couldn’t do it without proper rest. They were going to be here for a while and one of the awesome notes about the fire nation village was that the majority of their techniques were not restricted to outsiders! That meant that Jet Kazama and Adelle could leave the fire village knowing almost every fire technique that the village offered; increasing their skill in the fire element and sure enough coerce them to make up a few tricks on their own.

The only technique that was restricted was the Dragon fury technique that was from the Ryuujin clan of the Hidden Fire nation village. It would be the same clan that would produce the Rook, an opponent that would cross paths with the Asura soon. The dragon fury allowed a level of manipulation of the fire element to where one could morph it into a dragon. In its early stages the dragon was pratically an embryo compared to what it could become; it’s form no bigger than a fire projectile unleashed by Jet Kazama. It was in its later levels where it began to show its true colors. Multiplying the dragons, or fusing them into one large nasty beast of flames was what awaited those that were patient enough to study that technique. Marasol could see the flaw in having only one specific technique, where as the hidden volcano village had at least three of four per clan that was unique. Anyone coming out of hidden flame with true skill had her respect as a result.

Marasol had saw Jet try to sneak away during her time from reality regardless of her voiceless warning. She had told the Asura that it was best not to run from her since she would be able to find him easily. Their first destination was to get him healed up, for he was weaker than Adell and the training that was going to come later on would demand a healthy, one hundred percent body. Besides, Marasol had already mastered all of the hidden flame’s techniques that were offered to those; she had even developed her own version of the Ryuujin ability. The only difference of course changing the element of fire to magma, making it more deadly in the right hands. So Jet Kazama didn’t have to scurry over the library and try to go supermarket sweep on the techniques at hidden flame when he had someone that could teach him all that the hidden flame members knew. All that she asked in return was a bit of obedience and blood and sweat. “We’ll catch up with you Adell.” Marasol said, while Jet felt like a dog on a leash, nodding to Adelle before he went into the library. Now that it was the two of them, they were headed to a home that belonged to a friend of Marasol. One that she known for years and was quite skilled when it came to chakra and its healing benefits.

The little ten year old was just plainly walking around, trying to find where she could train, where she could go to maybe read a book. Her usual emotionless face was on, as it masked her inner frustration. With a small sigh, the girl looked around, her green eyes glowing slightly. Yes, her left green eye began to glow. She walked around the rim of the volcano, then looked out over the Hidden Flame. The night sky was dark, as the moon shone down on the volcano, the glow from the magma below almost made the girl want to take a trip to the Flame. But instead, she knew she had to stay in her home village and learn her clan techniques. The little girl just continued to watch the Flame for a few moments, wondering what could be there that's so important. She had heard many stories from there, but was never able to venture there herself, maybe she could later. with a sigh, her green eyes turned back to the magma, and jumped down, ready for some training.

“So who are we going to see?” Jet asked curiously. Even though in his eyes he didn’t need this chakra treatment, for a few hours of bedtime or an actual break would alleviate his chakra levels; being forced to go along with marasol he at least wanted to know the devil he was going to encounter. “A good friend of mine that goes by the name Luce(pronounced lucy). She specializes in the healing field so she’ll have you back to one hundred percent quick.” Marasol explained to the Asura.
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Luce and Marasol knew each other for years; they practically grew up together as kids, meeting at the Academy of Shinobi. The two of them had a slight disliking of each other at first but as the two grew their bond of friendship began and since then, continues to strengthen by the day. Although Luce is skilled in the healing properties that the chakra can offer and in the healing field as a whole, there shouldn’t be an assumption that she had the defense of a healer. On a physical level her performance was equal to that of Marasol When it came to knowing different types of jutsu and knowing different elements that this world offered them, they knew the same amount of elements. It was just that, like a lot of others in this world, their interest just caused them to go in one direction; while his or her friends would go in the same path of towards a different direction.

The door to Luce’s house was a few building down from the library, making it closer to the training fields where Adell would more than likely be; studying the different types of genjutsu and ninjutsu techniques that Hidden Flame offered. Sadly the kenjutsu category wasn’t too popular in this region. The house that Luce lived in was considered low-key when it came to some of the building structures the fire village offered to the eyes of outsiders. It’s roof was abnormally tall, almost taking on a trapezoid appearance. Green like the land of the flames, gold like the currency of other villages. Multiple windows laid outside of thee violet-red surface below the rooftop; also of course, the door. The overall structure of the house also looked to be in good shape, even though Luce lived here for years. Like her skills in healing and jutsu, Luce figured that she would treat her home like her talents; never let them become weak and exist with no strong foundation.

When the two of them reached the door, the door suddenly had a mind of its own and slowly slid opposite directions for Marasol and Jet; almost as if Luce knew that the two of them were coming before they even thought about coming to the fire village. The Asura spoke with a dubious tone shortly after the creepy eerie moment that he was a part of. “Okay now I really think some bed rest would be a good idea now.” His teacher laughed a bit before she replied with assurance in her speech. “Don’t worry. Although it’s a good tactic to scare some of the young kids, she’s probably buzy for a brief moment and allowed us entrance into her house.” And Marasol’s guess was right; when the two went in, they saw the owner of the house they had just saw Luce past both of them with her eyes locked onto a book that she was reading. Marasol had seen her friend like this before; where she was in the zone of her business that she motioned jet to wait and that she’ll soon see them

They watched her go into one room blindly, mumbling in a low tone; something out of the contents of the book that was in her possession. It was a book that spoke about minor healing treatment when dealing with chakra. The idea that she forgot how to treat Jet Kazama the Asura shouldn’t be implanted in one’s mind. It was just that with a myriad of spells that were similar, it was important to know the right one. One of the worst case scenarios would be that Jet Kazama would feel a painful burning sensation almost ten times of his fire techniques. And plus she enjoyed looking over them again, just like the feeling one gets when looking over old school notes from a class that he or she enjoyed.

She stayed in that room for a few seconds; from the eyes of Marasol and Jet Kazama who know what before coming back out. This time she went in the direction that Marasol and Kazama were standing, watching her act as if she was being possessed. Luce was steps away from running into her longtime friend when she suddenly paused at the four steps mark. Without looking up toward her guests her book lightly slammed shut and turned into blue dust. “Marasol…”Luce spoke with eagerness and happiness in her tone. “It’s been too long!” Looking up to her Hidden Volcano friend, her arms extended and gravitated towards Marasol as Luce went in for a tight hug. The Hidden Volcano teacher hugged her tightly in return, excited just as much as Luce was to see her friend. After their introduction, Luce had turned to the young teen, her patient. “And this is the Jet Kazama I’ve kept hearing about?”

It would be a lie if Jet Kazama said that she did not find Marasol’s friend Luce attractive. Her appearance was almost the complete opposite of Marasol but still Kazama had found Luce hot. Part of her hair was bundled up by simple sticks which were as tough as senbons; seeing as how she dabbled in magic, those simple sticks more than likely had more to them that what would meet the eye. The other part of her hair was like a tribute to Carmen san diego, wherever she was. It was easy to see her dark colored hair flowing down over nearly half of her gorgeous face, stopping by her chin. The rest of her attire was a black goth designed or influenced dress, with enough belts to tie down an entire cast of asylum members. But Kazama had liked the style that she had chose; with her frame she could most certainly pull something off like that. In addition her interests in the art of magic only complimented her specific attire even more. But they haven’t even exchanged sentences and already she had knew him? The two girls were friends so it would almost be disappointing if Marasol didn’t tell her about her student, but how much did Marasol tell about Jet? The way that Luce’s said it made it like she knew some not so good and embarrassing things about the Asura.

“This is him alright…” Marasol said, glancing back at her student, who had a slight dubious look on his face; similar to a child before he or she began to hear embarrassing stories about their childhood that they didn’t give a damn enough to hear or remember. “Hmmm…”Luce took a few steps in Kazama’s direction before circling him slowly, analyzing his vessel; from his physique to his hair, the way he stood, similar to a piece of soon to be dead flesh to condors in the hottest of deserts. She held back on smelling him however, for she was smart enough to know that strangers did not exactly enjoy being smelled by other strangers as if they haven’t taken a bath, didn’t know what one was or being smelled like hot food. She gave a warm smile before addressing Marasol. “I thought he would be shorter, and lacking a bit on the physique side. It looks like you’ve been feeding him well like I told you.” She jested.

“Sorry to disappoint.” Jet intervened, becoming a little bit annoyed as the possibility that they were going to talk about him as if he wasn’t there. “I’m just teasing a bit Jet Kazama.” She admitted before going into some of the details of what Marasol told about him; surely he was interested to know what Luce knew. “While I thought your height was a bit lower, I also thought your chakra gauge was low as well. It turns out it was higher than I expected.”

“Oh..well thanks.”

“Don’t mention it. It also outbalances the fact that I’ve heard your cockiness gets the best of you most of the time. At least you can get back up after taking a few hits from being cocky.” she replied before going back to Marasol, pushing a hair strand towards the back of her neck. “So what can I do for you guys?” she asked, getting to the needy greedy of Marasol’s presence. Kazama’s teacher didn’t waste no time getting down to the other reason why she was here besides visiting her good friend. “Do you think you can heal him back to one hundred percent? The Volcano village, part of it anyway was attacked and he, along with another traveler managed to defend it the best they could but Jet will need his strength for later.” Luce’s eyes widened a bit in surprise when Marasol revealed to her that they had obtained another traveler in their path. Did Kazama just need healing alone? Surely even the other person Marasol spoke about needed some treatment as well? “Another traveler? He doesn’t need treatment as well?” she asked before turning to face Kazama. There were no external or internal wounds that she had felt from Jet Kazama’s vessel. After a brief procedure of sensing his chakra level, it indeed was lower than it should have been. And if Marasol was going to put him to work then it would be for Kazama’s interest if he had his strength back at one hundred percent.

“Yes. We’ve met today but he helped us take down the intruder and decided to join us to Hidden Flame. No offense to Jet but he has a higher chakra level than him and I sense that he’s going to be okay.”Luce became more suspicious of her friend’s logic. The two of them could read chakra levels and Jet Kazama was going to be just fine; a bit of rest was really all that he needed? So why was she going with the alternative of bringing him here? The mage was going to investigate, but first…

”Let me see what I have…” she told the two before going into a different room the opposite of the first room she was seen going into. She could have just healed Jet Kazama right then and there and the boy could have been back to one hundred percent. However it was more enjoyable for the mage to concoct the potion from scratch like all of her other creations; well, the ones that didn’t need too much and was very quick to create. During her small scavenging for the items necessary to create the medicine, she sparked some conversation to kill the awkward silence that would soon surface. “So Jet, what kind of sword do you have there?” She was curious about the design of the sword. Usually the swords with the more innovative, eye candy designs were those of legendary status or he or she managed to find a good blacksmith and had a bunch of cash on them. Luce didn’t see that sword fall into any of the unique or legendary category, so what kind of sword smith made that weapon for Jet?

“Im not sure what kind it is really…” he had placed his sword down in the corner after not having a proper sheath to put it in. That sword was his baby but it was a b***h sometimes to hold it all the time. “All I know really is that its heat resistant and its easier for my volcano attacks. Plus it sucks to have no sheath.” Marasol was surpised that such a simple feature like a resistance to heat would be added on such a marvelous looking weapon. Usually simple features like heat resistance or lightning resistance was added to simple weapons such as a regular katana or kunai, even an axe. On the other hand the swordsman must have had to make a weapon of such design like the Noura if its heat resistance was equivalent to that of the magma and lava from hidden volcano.

During the small talk that jet Kazama and Luce had, Marasol stood there holding her right wrist with her left hand in front of her body waiting patiently. “Yeah too easy.” She added. “No hand signals whatsoever, the technique is just activated.” Luce was even more surprised as she heard more detail about how exactly the weapon made it easier for jet Kazama for unleash his Hidden Volcano techniques. Easy to the point where his volcano techniques would just come out of nowhere? With no necessary movement to the fingers whatsoever? That was something that sparked Marasol’s interest. It was something that she had wanted to see for herself in action and how Jet implemented such a feature in his style during battle. “Instantly huh? Sounds like you got a keeper on your hands Jet Kazama; don’t lose that blade.” She advised before she had got the last piece necessary for her medicine for Jet Kazama. “All finished.” Luce came back to the two with four ingredients necessary for jet Kazama to go back to being at one hundred percent. “It’ll take just a few moments.” She said, going into a room that resembled a kitchen to make the medicine.

“We’re in no rush.”

“Good, then we’ll have more time to talk.” Marasol had went to a stove and with a snap of her fingers, a small tamed red flame was released from the top of the stove. There was a lot that she wanted to talk about, mostly concerning Jet Kazama and of course what was going on with the life of Marasol. The process of making the medicine for Kazama was a cinch. In less than half a minute she had already placed some of the ingredients in a small pot such as a dead frog and some cinnamon. She then superheated the pot for a few seconds before bringing it back to normal. The last few steps was simply placing a few pinch of specific powders here and there to make sure that it was correct by the book, and that it had some flavor. After making something for so long, one begins to find alternatives or add extra elements to make it better. “It has a sting to it just to let you know, so you have two choices…”She was pouring the liquid in a small tea cup for Jet Kazama, continuing with her speech while motioning for the boy to come over to her. “You can either get a huge sting by drinking it till the last drop, or taking small sips and get moderate stings. But they’re temporary and go away in less than a few seconds. Pick your poison.”

Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...
User Image
All the while, as Jet and Marasol took their time and went to find a friend, Adell was continuing his training. He seemed to have near limitless energy. Adell decided now was the time to place his focus on learning fire. Edward took his battle axe and looked to it for a moment. He opened up the scroll and brought his attention to the first technique that interested him. He read over the use of the method, speaking to himself, "Crimson Lotus Flower: Using a larger weapon, such as a staff, the user raises it above their head and released fire chakra, gathering the flames into a ring. The user continues adding to the ring until it expands out into a disc shape. After gathering roughly a six foot disc of pure fire, the Ninja releases the blazing wheel towards their target." Adell raised his axe. He knew it wasn't quite a staff, but it was what he had to work with. He concentrated, and began to concentrate his chakra to flow, transforming it into fire chakra. The fire chakra would produce flames, and as he controlled the flow, the fire would rise up. It flow to his axe as he had begun spinning it and would follow the path of the axe head. The flames formed and floated in the air as Adell produced a ring of fire with the first rotation. He began rotating his axe faster, adding more chakra. As he concentrated, the fire spread further out, flattening. The additional chakra would cause it to expand further, becoming more a disc then a ring. He breathed calmly in concentration, confident of his success. He could feel the heat flowing off from the disc, burning as brightly as he passion to grow stronger...well...almost. With a deep breathe, the flame disc was fully formed. He looked up, and as the technique suggested, it was a little over 2 meters in diameter. He smirked, laughing to himself lightly as he held it in the air with his weapon. He turned, looking around for something to hit. His eyes set upon a thickly-based tree. It was, quite frankly the perfect Target. He swung his axe forward, sending it flying. Considering this was the first time he did such a thing, his aim was... kinda... mediocre. The disc swerved straight past the tree, not even touching it and went flying overhead into the village. It barely avoided the heads of people and the sides of buildings, as the citizens ducked out of the way of it. Naturally, many would be frightened and angered by the event, and be searching for the source of the problem. The disc flew off into the distance, rising above the buildings as the sight of it was lost. "Well...that could have gone better...." He scratched his head lightly. If this was an anime, a sweat drop would be readily visible from his head. He was just glad that it appeared nobody came looking for him yet. Marasol had apparently wondered as to Adell's friends and family. Well, Adell had always been a very independent child constantly getting into trouble, at the same time, he was rather good at caring for himself, and rarely stayed at home. He was constantly looking for adventure, action, or a chance to test himself and train, even before he left the village, and even before he became an academy student. He had little jutsu talent at first, but rather quickly after graduating, after failing previously, he began to get the hang of it, and has grown rather strong. His family, though once tried to reel him in, with negative results. So they just ended up allowing him to do and explore as he pleased. Things did always seem to work out in the end this way, after all. As for allies and friends, he had of course met with a small group in the mist and fought alongside them... sort of... before they left, with the coming of the space crabs.

Jet experienced a quick sour, sting that kicks his entire body up, down, sideways, and diagonally. It lasted for a few seconds but felt like a straight minute. With a grossed look on his face he stared at the empty medicine vial before looking back at Luce. “What’s in this stuff!? One or two sweeteners wouldn’t kill me you know…” Marasol gave a warm laugh at Jet’s response. In addition to being a cocky piece of work he certainly was a character like Marasol had told her. “If I told you some of the ingredients I think I’ll have to clean my floor! And putting an extra ingredient in would have thrown off the entire mix. So instead of medicine for your chakra you could have taken an aphrodisiac.” Luce explained. “Certainly don’t want that…” Marasol murmured. Being a growing boy he already was attracted to the opposite sex enough. Kazama didn’t need to be grabbing and getting friendly with random women he sees because of Luce.

What’s an aphrodisiac?”

”It makes your body feel funny…It’ll make you more want to be friendlier to girls…at the cost of a black eye and shots to the groin.” Marasol elucidated, without being too graphic.

“In other words it’ll stimulate sexual desire.Make you horny.”

“Luce!”

”What? You explain it as if he’s going to be young forever. I actually have some aphrodisiacs in the back if-I’m kidding Marasol.” Luce teased before turning her attention back to the Asura. “The medicine will kick in quick, but makes you a bit drowsy. So I’d advise you to use one of the rooms and lay down for a while.” She recommended. Jet Kazama had declined her offer, bragging that he’ll be fine when suddenly he felt his eyes get dragged down by 2 ton boulders slowly. Luce quickly saw the side effects and once again recommended Kazama to lay down. This time he took her offer and left his sword with the two of them, gave her his thanks and went in the other room. Luce told him just before he turned the corner that he could also freshen up when he woke up, for she knew that he’ll need it for Marasol’s training. The two of them watched Jet go into the other room, and held back small laughter when they heard the sound of his entire body hitting the bed at once. He was knocked out cold and would wake up eventually.

After it was evident that Jet was in the dreamworld, Marasol crossed her arms and gave a blank look towards her good friend for what she did. “You know I’m not an expert as you are in this field…but I’m definitely sure that sleep powder wasn’t on the list for a healing medicine.” Luce continued the conversation but before that she chanted a quick string of words, causing the ingredients to fade away. They would return back to their places where Luce had found them so she wouldn’t have to put them back away. It saved a bit of time for small stuff such as a medicine she could have conjured right away but for more complicated recipes, that technique was a huge time saver. Once her kitchen was back to its clean self again her focus was on her best friend, yet she was walking to the backyard, where they could catch and talk about what Luce wanted to know. “It’s wonderful isn’t it? It’s one of those ingredients where I can place into almost anything and the creation still comes out fine…plus we have a lot to things talk about that I would like to keep private. I’m sure you do as well right?” Marasol didn’t agree to drugging Jet but in this case, where he would have needed as much sleep as he could she decided to give it a pass.
Not to mention Kazama would most likely try to power it out and go without any rest at all. And yes she did want to talk to Luce about some things that she didn’t want Jet’s ears to pick up.

“I mean, the boy didn’t exactly need medicine Marasol. Some simple rest alone would have gotten him back to where you would have liked him to be.” Marasol had revealed to Luce that she knew. It wasn’t like she was trying to get one by on Luce; she really wanted to have Jet back at one hundred percent. But there was more to why she came here other than to catch up. “It’s more than that isn’t it?”

“Yes.”

”So let’s talk…”

Jet Kazama had done it. Going in as perhaps one of the underdogs, he had started from the bottom and made his way to the top in the end. The Asura had become a Chuunin! After his battle with Adell it was announced that it was a draw. Normally in draw situations, he or she do not lose, but at the same time they don’t win either. Well in this case it was the opposite; actually, more than the opposite. Since this was Jet’s first exam he was convinced that it was the winner that took all, when in reality there were multiple winners who took an individual slice of the prize. So instead of Jet being the only one excelling to Chuunin status, multiple ninjas had excelled, such as Xio, Gekkou, Momo who Kazama would like to see again along with the Rook, and finally Terumi. But celebration would have to be put on the back burner, for Jet Kazama at least.

“How’s your patient?”

“He’s recovering quite fast..abnorrmally fast…at this rate he’ll be able to even go home in a few hours, a day max.”

The new chuunin was asleep peacefully in his hospital bed with the hospital gown equipped in exchange of his signature clothes and armor. Instead of his forearm armor they were replaced with bandages that were a bit stained with blood. His midsection was tightly wrapped with bandages as well, along with his left quadriceps right shoulder and chest region. The rest of his body had small bandages here and there as well such as his chiseled chin.

It wasn’t so much the fight with the Rook where the downfall began, since that was his first fight after all; fighting Momo was where the majority of his injuries occurred. The last match with Adell created more injuries and made the previous ones worse. His adrenaline had caused his body to ignore the pain and push on, which explained why he wasn’t limping the majority of the match. However as soon as the match was over, a minute didn’t pass by before he had to be carried out on a stretcher by the doctors and sent to a hospital in Hidden flame(assuming they have one, if not anything remotely close to one). They figured that since that were he came from someone there would be able to take care of him. That someone was a six feet, one hundred eighty female that had witnessed what the Asura was capable of. Only instead of being back at Hidden Flame, she was inside of the room of Jet Kazama, looking over him as he slept peacefully…
