Lulz! Well all the muggle stuff (Besides some kitchen appliances) Is downstairs in Harry's Room, which is like.... a wall with a huge TV and shelves lined with movies/games, neon signs, lighting, theatre-like seats and two-three tables with chairs, and a half-bar with bar stools. O_o
So it's like..... a mini-bar/club/theatre downstairs. ^_^ Which is why Harry doesn't often feel the need to go out, I guess, but he doesn't invite people over very much I think.
Hmm... GILDEROY! <3 XD Omfg, presents. x3 Gilderoy is so adorable, so so much.

@Naz- Can Gilderoy really play the violin?
@NAz/Janine- O_o Do you think the Potter/Lockhart family can speak french? Gilderoy seems to have a love for the country. You think maybe they've vacationed in France a lot and know the language? I'd almost think the family was bilingual.
@Mike: You know, when Godfrey and Voldemort finally start going at it, Godfrey's going to want to get sum like, 3 times a day. HE WILL BE AN ADDICT FOR IT.
CAN VOLDEMORT KEEP UP WITH THAT, OLD MAN? O_o
He should be able to. Geeze, friggin... immortal. Can't be immortal and not have the libido of someone who's like, at least 25.
I also envision him running around naked a lot after that time. O_o

Yeah, Gilderoy spent much of his summer before his second and third years in Hogwarts honing his ability to play the violin. Unfortunately for Gilderoy, he doesn't remember a thing about his childhood, and might not be able to play if he actually tried. Which would make it look like a lie.
Regarding France and speaking the language, I think they probably can. Gilderoy loves the smaller, out-in-the-country portions of France, as well as the cities, and would have demanded that they spend time there. Gilderoy knows enough French to have a short conversation, at least.

HAHA omfg. Voldemort doing any sort of activity naked is just so amusing to me. Voldemort cooking breakfast naked. Naked Voldemort makes me happy. x3
But duh, he could definitely keep up. And if he couldn't he could just use some stamina charm or something. Magic viagra and such, haha. Yes.
I'm definitely gunna post in the Pokeroleplay tonight.

x3 @ Gilderoy. Heheheheeee. <3 I can just really see Adela like, speaking perfect french and schmoozing with the locals. And Gilderoy trying to speak perfect french and completely confusing people. But he's so enthusiastic about it that it's adorable.
XD Harry probably speaks very limited french. He doesn't seem like a language guy to me.
Xeno probably speaks a couple of very weird/unknown languages, maybe german.

Godfrey.... Godfrey can probably speak it a bit better than gilderoy, but I don't think he's fluent (Too many other things to learn) XD

Cue the family going absolutely batshit. Seriously, Gilderoy, what the ******** are you thinking?
This will NOT be the first time he slips off (since I want him to go shopping lol.) He's feeling very lonely and suffocated, and trying to prove he's fully functional.. and the combination is not very good. XP
Anyway, I guess it's been a few days of the same drama as shown during dinner, due to the stubbornness of everyone involved XD

Hum..
Yeah. Harry alternates between grinding his teeth, blocking out Gilderoy's voice, giving in when necessary, getting incredibly mad/furious to the point of wanting to scream and stamp about, and alternately withdrawing inside to sort out the feelings and calm down. (Which I suppose gives the impression of him backing away in the corner, sitting down, and staring ahead with his arms wrapped around his knees- but he doesn't actually do that, he'll just be doing normal things)

Xeno.... has probably been offering bits of advice/counseling, giving everyone supportive words, being a calm and neutral party, and probably TOUCHING GILDEROY MORE THAN GILDEROY PROBABLY THINKS IS NECESSARY.
razz Lingering fingers on the elbow, coming up silently at Gilderoy's side, short, never quite meaningful looks. Not anything that actually IS flirting. Like nothing that's..... subtexted. But it's flirting none the less?
I don't know how to describe it besides the 'Doing more by not doing' Xeno might act like more of an emotional presence than a physical one. And then the emotional leads over to the assumption of physical attentions, when really it has only been outwardly innocent.
but it's the inner meaning, intention of innocent touches that gives it that heaviness. XD Xeno wants Gilderoy to have lustful feelings towards him- his own free choice/will- before he actively returns something like that in a somewhat direct way.
Godfrey- *Clings to Gilderoy wherever he goes and does whatever he wants him to do and is angrier than normal with Harry and is even angry with Xenophilius and Adela* Imagine a porcupine that could shoot quills. Now imagine that porcupine attached to Gilly's face. And then imagine it shooting quills at anyone who comes close, and you have Godfrey. xD
@Mike- Godfrey is probably also doing less things with Voldemort and Josh now, because he wants to spend all his time with his Papa on weekends or whatever.

Gilderoy has certainly had some difficulty in keeping from losing his temper, then; he’s very good at reading into things (unless he doesn’t WANT to, because he cares about the person - Harry, for example - and just adjusts reality in his head so that they MUST feel happy/etc) so he’d sense there was something vaguely sexual in Xeno’s touches. He’d feel - for lack of a better term - emotionally raped by it XD It would go against his personal goals of being entirely independent again, because Xeno’s sexual presence calls for submission in some respects, and the thought frustrates Gilderoy. He’s very sexist, and places people like Harry into a traditional woman’s role of being the submissive housewife, and he’d associate bottoming with being taken care of - something he doesn’t want, because HE wants to take care of Harry.
Not to mention, he feels very insecure about himself now (beneath all the arrogance; mostly due to his stay in the hospital) and part of him wants to be petted and called pretty XD In a way anyway. He’s also VERY VERY scared that if he shows he’s not in perfect condition, Harry will banish him to the permanent ward again. Hence his desperation to prove he’s fully functional.
Lol, he’d appreciate Frey’s attention. XD He probably goes outside with him when he gets the chance, away from the house, and tells him stories.

So this is step one, in Gilderoy's five steps of becoming "normal." This step is called helplessness. The steps to follow are depression, over-independence, anger/accusation, and explosive realization.
Harry's hair is "PR offending." Best description of adult!Harry's hair ever. X3

I think, because his PR is worried about being sued by another harry Potter (If they were harassed in the street or something), or confusion, Harry is forced to create a certain image. And it's probably in his contract to uphold it. (So he gets warnings/demerits if he appears in public and isn't well-groomed, and eventually a dock in pay)
