and how many people are actually fighting? splitting the gold between the people still in the tournament... i think that's a solution worth looking into, if you can't find anyone else.

No offense to Tac, he's cool OOC, but fighting him is a drag. I'm enjoying my match with Alchert though, practically rooting for my opponent to win. And I'd like to play Rivven through... more or less just to see if I can do it, and because he's not active anywhere else for a long while now.

No, I would def rather have you here than not. I just mean that I hope there's not as much turbulence during this shift of power as there was the last time it happened. This thing was your idea so I think you deserve to be active in it if that's what you want.

I don't think there will be. The other guys, especially TMJ, made some nice clarifications to the rules, have the mod request thread set up, and all that...so it's really just a matter of me checking, locking, and updating stuff where due. And things have tapered off so much that I don't foresee any huge problems when it comes to judge decisions, and if I'm having a problem making a ruling on something (which tends to happen to me, maybe because I'm not experienced or mature enough or too nice), I'll ask J or summat.
It's not so much a shift in power, anyway. Jello wants the burden off his shoulders, and that's only right.
As far as this thing has fallen, which is my fault and nobody else's, I'd like to finish it somehow.

And woah. Let me say before any one person or group's "elected": Clash, when you were active here, you managed things well. If you wish to take control of this again, personally, I'd be quite content with it.
However, there is no way in Hell I'd want to see this tournament die. If worse comes to worse, I [and probably everyone in this tournament also not wishing it to just die off] will gladly help or take smaller management parts to keep the workload lighter, that much I'm sure of.
Gold aside, this thing's been too fun &, frankly, too long to just die off due to an individual or two's disinterest in continuing leading it. =P My opinions.

X, I gotta lock threads first. I have no idea how many people are still out there right now. There's someone who'd take this over, and I'm obviously here.
By the way, the reason I never came back after abandoning this over summer is because I just see Jello and the other guys as way better leaders than I am. I'm not sure why I'm saying this, and that's not supposed to be an excuse, but just how I felt. I ran from it. And instead of poking my shamed nose back into it, I figured that if somebody else does it better, might as well let 'em do their thing, and if they needed me, they'd call. I just want to own up for my mistake, I guess, and let you guys know that none of this is your fault. I'm not really sure how to explain it, but I'm answering the call, someone else will take over or I'll stay, better rules'll come around or not, and in the meantime, I'll just do what I'm supposed to do. And that's all I'll say about that again. =) Onward.
