So, I'm alive. I know some of us are friends on FB but you may not be on often enough to know, but work kicked my a**! I had to work eight or nine days in a row last month (maybe more, my memory is foggy), have one day off and then work two or three more. I have done three jobs before, but it was never this busy before since I wasn't really scheduled much then. I assumed it would be like that now I guess, and that's part of the reason I did it but boy HOWDY was I wrong. I was getting scheduled all the time at Hot Topic which I wasn't expecting, although now I am no longer working there. The manager said she told me about inventory and when it was, which she did not. If she had I would have requested it off from Kwik Trip, but we both are stubborn/hard headed so we're both right to ourselves. ANYWAY, I said I couldn't do it and she wanted me to call the store. It was the same thing, but I couldn't do it because of my schedule and then she said she was taking me off the schedule then since "holiday help" was technically done. She was fairly nice about it, but knowing her as long as I have she was probably pissed. *shrug*
There isn't much I can do about it, and even if I had gotten stuff switched around I would have had to call in anyway. After being knocked off my a** for a week with a bad cold, my boyfriend got the cold. At one point he had to go to the ER and with how sick he was he was unable to get out and do his UBER to get the rest of his part of rent together. His mother was an angel though, and was able to help us out.
Speed forward a bit, after being back to work for over a week guess what? I GOT THE ******** FLU! Luckily for me it was mostly a 24 hour bug, although I keep experiencing nausea (no I'm not pregnant, I have my period) so that's not fun. Also, guess what? MY BOYFRIEND GOT THE FLU TOO! gonk
I felt so bad that I shared two sicknesses in a row with him, especially since his side of things lasted way longer than mine ever did. I am also a little annoyed about getting sick again, not just because it happened so soon but because it impeded on my plans for my birthday. So I did a whole lot of nothing when I wanted to actually go out for once, which for me is big because I would much rather stay inside away from people.
Sorry but not sorry this is so long, I just wanted to update all of you in case you were wondering if I died or something. rofl I hope everyone's Christmas was good! Mine was full of work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but then I had the 26th to myself. At least with Christmas Eve I was only working until 3:30pm so I had time to spend with family after. I couldn't go with my boyfriend to his family's place on Christmas, though they sent home gifts with him for me and my cats which was nice. I was very surprised though, because one of the things I opened is what I asked for. eek A while ago my bf asked me what I wanted because his mom was asking, and I said 'an electric griddle' because Marceline had just broken the one I had. I honestly didn't expect to get one, let alone the one they got me. So when I opened it I ******** cried like a little b***h. I know it was expensive because it is a copper titanium ceramic griddle, and to see that just floored me. His family and I have very different views on a lot of things, and the fact they got something so nice for me had me in shock. Even now just thinking about it makes me want to cry, and I already cried twice on Christmas when I opened it! rofl I've been doing a lot of crying lately because of people being so damn nice, even with small gestures I just can't.
I guess I'll stop babbling for now, but I'm back bitches! OH! Also, I got insurance! I have the card, now I just need to see if my doctor accepts it and if so then I need to make an appointment to be seen. Then from there hopefully get something done about my feet and back hurting all the time, and then possibly go back to work at Kwik Trip full time. That is my goal so that I can quit Game Stop too.

Thanks! I don’t know how I did it either, it was insane! But it’s pretty much over now so that’s a plus. Now I’m just hoping to get more hours at the main job but this week I had plans so I couldn’t take any. Next week I’m hoping to though!
So, is anyone else playing Feline Companion Fashion Simulator World? Gameplay is pretty simple and to the point, but it has this bitchin' minigame where you go out and beat the s**t outta dinosaurs for the parts to make your Cat friend's adorable outfits and weapons. Stuff like this.
Oh, and gigantic goddamn hammers. 13 other types of other weapons too, each playing totally differently (not just movesets and basic differences... I mean actual different mechanics from weapon to weapon)... but I just think of those classes as Not Hammer 1 through Not Hammer 13.
All in all, between the fashion and bullying of dinosaurs/dragons, I think this game is right up the AG's alley. I don't know how Mala would feel about the difficulty, but I do believe she'd be a fan of one of the weapon types... The Hunting Horn. Imagine weapons that are the love children of bagpipes or didgeridoos and gigantic goddamn clubs. And like all other weapons/armor in the game, they're made from bits of the monsters you're fighting. Behold!
There is, of course, no question about what Mala would think about the Palicos or any of the other Felynes or Grimalkins (native tribes of Felynes you can befriend and your Palico can learn skills from, including riding some of the smaller monsters into battle)... and probably a lot of the huge monsters you'll be fighting.

I like putting mine in the Odogaron or Nergigante sets and letting him be a creature of pure nightmares while he chops bits off the beasties for me, but Luna likes to demand he be put in cuter stuff like the Lumu or Legi gear. I also like putting him in the Barroth set so he can be the McRib King.

I like putting mine in the Odogaron or Nergigante sets and letting him be a creature of pure nightmares while he chops bits off the beasties for me, but Luna likes to demand he be put in cuter stuff like the Lumu or Legi gear. I also like putting him in the Barroth set so he can be the McRib King.
I've not been able to decide if I prefer status effects or severing... I need to craft more matching gear though...
