3.14 iBarty Happy belated Thanksgiving to you guys too! I haven't signed in for a good week I think because I've been busy working. I have been worn out from work between the three jobs but seeing the pending paychecks on my bank account is nice. heart So how has everyone been? I've been alright minus all the working, but I'm also looking to get insurance again soon. I'm really hoping I stop procrastinating as the insurance I'm going to try for is through work and there's a small window of opportunity to get it.
Basically my plan is to get insurance, get seen about my feet and lower back and hopefully get those taken care of so that I can go back to work at Kwik Trip full time. If I'm able to do that, then I'd be able to quit Hot Topic and Gamestop after the holidays. You probably have but... Have you looked into getting obamacare? My husband just took a new job with terribly high insurance (Premiums were $1800 a MONTH) so we got on ACA instead. My work doesn't offer insurance either because there are only 4 of us. But we pay a pretty low premium through ACA. It isn't the BEST healthcare, but it isn't terrible. It's only open until the 15th if you check it out now. Yeah, I looked into it and there was honestly too much paperwork involved. I couldn't get myself motivated to do it, and it defaulted to going through the state and needing all my paystubs and crap. I signed up through work which was much easier, and it's not super expensive but I'm still unsure if I'll be able to afford it for long. Insurance doesn't start until the first of January though, so I have some time before I'll be able to use it.

I've been good thanks - plodding along in my usual fashion, playing too many video games. The standard. biggrin I usually like sticking with one job, doing multiple is hard work. It helps that they're all part time though, so it really isn't that bad.
I have been playing more video games lately too. I was playing Super Mario Odyssey for a bit, didn't get very far into it before another game caught my interest. xd Been playing Skyrim again on the Switch, I made a hot lady. xd I got Overwatch for my ps4 so I've been playing a little of that! I suck at shooters because my aim is atrocious, but I really like Overwatch so far. I also recently got ESO since it was on sale, and I got the one with the Morrowind expansion. I'm still not too far into it as I've only been able to play a little here anre there, but so far I'm enjoying it.

Allow him to unwrap box. He gets something he wanted, they get... The joy of him unwrapping something...? If I could get away with not wrapping presents I definitely would. It always seems like such a waste.

It always seems like such a waste. I don't get it either. And at another family event we have an adult gift exchange where "you bring a gift and get a gift". Well last year I ended up getting my own gift after putting some time and energy into getting something cool. So this year I feel "meh" about doing it because years when I don't get my own gift I don't really get anything that is useful to me. And we have always been told "if you don't want to participate you don't have to!" ...and I said I didn't want to participate this year and now everyone is freaking out saying WHAT NO YOU HAVE TO IT WILL BE FUN DON'T BE A SCROOGE. I'm not being a scrooge I just don't want to put any time, energy, or money into this? sweatdrop Maybe I will want to next year? And this is a large family event with 20+ people so its not like me not doing it will be an issue.

Merry Christmas Eve, friends! heart
I woke up at 5:30am and decided to get up and embrace the quiet morning before all the chaos of the day starts...I will probably regret this at about oh...2pm when I am ready for a nap.

We're having an nontraditional Christmas tomorrow. We're gonna be having a rack of ribs, curly fries, and baked beans. Kinda looking forward TBH. I'm kinda sick of ham/turkey. 3nodding
