Althalas Pogue On a lighter note. Anyone have any suggestions for a direction to take my character? I'm not totally sure as to which way to go with him. He's probably going to be Hyoton, but I'm not as pumped up about him as I've been past RPCs and I just need something to get me wanting to do it. Any crazy ideas for Ice characters? I was thinking either an Icy assassin with taijutsu supplemented with nin.... OR a ton of Icy Genjutsu. Which could be pretty cool. AND and side note. But this one is about my avatar. I dunno what to do with it and I feel like mixing it up Ice Taijutsu sounds cool to me, maybe with some supplementary Genjutsu. If you could catch someone in a genjutsu long enought o fool their mind that it's warm, when in fact they are in the middle of a Hyouton created cold zone/blizzard, you'd gain a natural advantage against them in Taijutsu, since the colder they are the harder it will be for them to fight.

That does sound good. I was about to start working on a style, since I'm snowed in and have nothing to do, that supplements all my strikes with icy power FTW power, so maybe that'll help. But I hadn't even thought about them growing colder and slowing down like that, interesting.

Augoeides That and I'm constantly at war with people in the world, seriously... I'm sorry cause I know you're a christian and darned good one at that, but I've got a plethora of study under my belt which says eff you to 'gay =bad according to the bible' and christains are really not helping... think about it... gay kid growing up as the son of a minister... stuck in a temple of a religion which enmasse persecutes me. Augoeides that b***h who said I wa spossedd by demons is so lucky I didn't smash her head in... no I sat there and respected her beliefs and perspective... why?!??! 'cause im more of a christian than she is... and I'm an agnostic with elemtnal y wiccany crossbreed with some aspects of christian god leanings. Wow... Alright, being a christian myself, and despite the wiccan bit at the end, which I'm still not sure how to feel about when people talk about it, I feel the need to apologize. The bible does state that God hates homosexuality, but christians take it too far, because it also states that He loves the sinner. Christians are meant to befriend them, and hopefully turn them from their sin, whatever it may be. Accusing someone of being demon possessed, or persecuting them, or in the most extreme of cases, the Salem Witch Trials, is NOT the christian way to deal with things. My dad's a minister too. But he's hooked up with what people would probably call the worst sinner in our town, to the point where the guy was coming over to our house nearly every day for several months. And considering our house is in a church, that's something. If he was following the principle that sinners must be corrected by brutal forcing of doctrine that some christians follow, I don't expect we'd ever have seen him again. Instead, we got free snow plowing for the church along with use of the guy's bucket loader whenever we needed it. Sure, he hasn't come to church yet, but there's space to work there. Reason for that story? That is what I believe the proper christian outlook is meant to be.

Im'a throw this out there. This probably isn't the place to bring up religion. That's my two cents.

Hinote Tosatsu The bible does state that God hates homosexuality, but christians take it too far, because it also states that He loves the sinner. Accusing someone of being demon possessed, or persecuting them, or in the most extreme of cases, the Salem Witch Trials, is NOT the christian way to deal with things. I would say that technically, it's our job simply to show the love of Christ to people through our actions and words. Whether or not that turns people from their sin, well, that's a matter of the heart, and we have no hand in that.
...we are definitely called to Love rather then hate though, which is unfortunately where many Christians slip up. In the bible, Jesus came for the sinners, not for the righteous... so I'm not sure WHY they think that way, but they do. I guess it's because we're all selfish at heart.
Either way though, clearly Auggie is not being treated the way he should be by those around him... and especially not the 'christians' around him.

Auggie is quite the student of religion as well, so he would really have no problem with the discussion. Odds are he has read the bible and analyzed it more thoroughly then many Christians.
...he tends to enjoy such conversations.

As long as it doesn't evolve into "You're wrong!", or "No, your religion sucks!", or stuff like that, go ahead.

Also, just so you know, I'm a total homophobe, in the proper sense of the word. If a large gay man suddenly leaned on my shoulder and tried hitting on me, or worse, making out, I'd probably scream and run away. Or beat him to a pulp. Luckily, I am ugly enough to where they hopefully wouldn't try.
But I love Auggie, cause he's fun. Same with most gays I've met online. I don't really care for the gayness, but I like the person.

@Greg Orly? We should use some of that for some giveaways.
Are we still taking about religion or am I too late for the conversation surprised
