No, they made up some of the words too, it really pisses tolkien diehards if you use grey company in front of them.
Night Aurah-Miss Moonlight.

hmmm. this presents one of thoe slight issues. according the the elvish type that piper/malik was based on, elves have a long, but limited, lifespan. DnD elves I think live forever, like tolkien elves. we were guess malik to be around 500, which would put him at roughly middle age for the piper type.

So they only live for 2500 year then?
EDIt, no... middle aged human is 35-49, so he could live for another 1500 at the most.
EDIT: Malik is still younger than Tarathiel.
EDIT: DnD elves vary from edition to edition. Only 1st edition elves were tolkeinese, and second were, but always left around 1500 years to go whereever, teh thrid edition elves only lived for 1200-1500 years before they died. They are also subject to age, ie, stat penelties to str con and dex and bonuses to wis int and cha.

Because I already edit that post several times...
Wasn't Malik a child when Cymarron tore him to pieces?

average vah live to be 100-120. Cymarron however is long lived for his race becuase of his unique gift. Cymarron's aging slowed because of consuming, and adjusting, to teh imprint of elvish (and one demonic) lives. not to mention teh bond with Rand. Cymarron himself was only around like 24 when he did that to Malik.

I'll look into that Norrath calander. I'll assume you were using ad as a comparative source not so much as Anno Domini.
