(( Jacob: Ohhh, right, I think I've seen a few previews for that... I don't watch tv nearly as much as I used to, so I've been missing out on a lot of trailers... XD ))

Liv smiled a little at first, until she saw the teasing attitude fade away. She could feel her hands become a little clammy as questioned her, and she rubbed them together a little, folding them in her lap. It wasn't that she wouldn't miss him, because she did miss all of the Noah, and part of her did wish things could have turned out differently. However, she had begun to found real peace, something she hadn't had for a while. Even though she was raising Luci alone, she had a wealth of support at the Order.
She frowned a little and looked at her hands as she replied with a quiet tone, "Of course I would, sweetheart...but things are really different now. I can't be in between anymore."

Jacob watched as liv's ease and comfort faded with the voicing of his question. "so now the truth is out huh?" he asked and looked down at his own hands. "i'm sorry...i didn't mean to drudge up mixed feelings or anything. things are different now.......you are right" he stood up slowly, "but you aren't the only one who couldn't live between ya know.... the difference is i can't just leave...i'd have no where else to go...and they'd just come after me in the end. I'm glad you could get away though...i really am" he smiled genuinely. "...don't worry...i'll only be around a short while, then i'll get out of your hair, kay?"

(( Jacob: Oh wow... That must be a ton of fun! XD I barely ever see movies in the theaters anymore...

Liv's frown deepened as she listened to Jacob's words, and she finally looked up at him again when he stood up. Even though he was smiling, she took his last words badly, "I didn't say you had to leave, Jacob. You just need to know where I stand...as far as you go personally, you know that I'll always care about you. But as far as this war goes, you have to know that I can't help you anymore, and I can't align myself with the family anymore. And..especially when it comes to Tyki..I can't subject Luci to it anymore. I can't think only about myself in this, I have to think about what's best for her. You know that you can stay here, or come and go as you need to. We can spend time together if that's what you want, and you can see Luci, too. We can still have a friendship this way...you just have to know where I stand, now."

Jacob nodded to her. "I know...and I promise i'll try to keep the war away from this pace as best I can...I won't betray you or this place...i can't make any promises that i'll get along with people here all the time...i'm sure my temper is too short for all that...but i'll keep the earl and the war out of it...i'll stop the war from coming here....they can fight anywhere else...but not here...and i'm not going to ask you to betray your friends and family here..." he assured her and walked to the fridge to get a drink. "...where's the good stuff?" he asked her and turned to look around for some sort of alcohol. He'd turned to drinking again recently. nothing over the top like before...but more than any 16 year old boy should ever need

She smiled appreciatively and was glad that Jacob understood what she really meant. She took what he said and trusted him to keep his word, "I'm not sure if we have anything right now, actually...though there may be some spiked punch left from my birthday party."

Jacob went to search for it. He poured himself a tall glass and then poured another for Liv. "sorry....i missed your birthday" he apologized and handed her the glass as he took his seat on the floor again. "...guess i was wrong about the crowd coming back" he said and noted the quiet hallways again. "must've all just gone straight to bed..." he offered an explanation. "...liv...do you think...being evil...is necessary....that...i have to be bad....because without me...and the noahs...do you think... good couldn't exist without us?" he asked and his hand clenched a bit tighter around his cup. he took a long sip and waited for her reply. He'd had a rough mission recently, and it weighed on his mind still.

"That's alright, it was a while back. It's probably better that you missed it, it was...extravagant. Thanks to Jerry," she laughed a little. She was relaxing again and enjoying the conversation, but soon Jacob was back onto a more serious subject. She could tell that something was bothering him, and of course he had come back to the Order, so she should have expected it. She sighed a little and stood up to join him in the kitchen, standing across the breakfast bar from him. She didn't touch the punch yet, and she looked at him for a bit before she gave an answer.
"I think that even without the Noah...that other evils will still exist. There will still be bad people in the world, like those that steal or murder, and have no affiliation with the Noah. The Noah aren't the only evil in this world. And...I'm not even sure they truly are evil, really...if you look at Tyki..," she swallowed a little and looked down a bit, "He obviously has a part inside that is good..a part that doesn't want to be bad, and doesn't want to do the things he's ordered to do. I think that maybe the same could be true for the others, too. If they really stopped once, I think maybe they all have a part of them that can be good. I don't think you or the others are all inherently evil. And maybe...maybe it's the Earl who basically forces you to become his personal army, and you have no choice, then."

Jacob took another swig of his drink. "yeah...maybe..." he sighed. "You know i didn't want to join the earl...back when they took me in....i'd started turning into a noah the night i killed my family...they took me to the mansion and told me what i was...i didn't want anything to do with them....but the bunnyman was rather...persuasive....die or join...so i joined..." he took another long sip. His cheeks started turning a soft pink blush from the alcohol. "i just wonder if i was evil before i became a noah...or if i'm evil because i was always supposed to be one....the bunny man- my last mission....we did some pretty terrible s**t....i just needed to get away after that...i haven't gone back there since..."

Liv sighed a little again and slowly moved around the bar to stand next to him. She hated what Jacob had to go through, and she knew already he never wanted to be a part of the Noah family. She hesitated for a moment before reaching down to take his free hand in both of her own, "I don't think you're evil even now, Jacob. I think there are parts of you that are out of your control, and maybe those parts of you are bad. But I don't think you are evil," she looked at him and tried the impress upon him the sincerity of her words, rubbing his hand a little.
