"oh hey there Liv. Long time no see?" Jacob smiled and walked towards where the pretty woman sat with her book. "things seem pretty quiet in here tonight. how have you been?" he asked, his voice dropping a bit. He realized he'd been gone a long time and he didn't know how much things had changed during his absence.

Liv closed her book and set it on the table next to her, "I'm not sure where everyone is tonight. I actually just got back myself, I was away for a while, too. But not nearly as long as you...I've been doing well. Luci lives here with me now, and has for more than six months."

Jacob nodded and looked around for a place to sit, but settled for the floor instead. This place used to be a comfort to him, but with it so quiet and empty, and with the tension of the relationship he had with liv in the past, tonight he felt a bit uncomfortable. "That's good...that she is here with you I mean....you said you were gone? Where were you? or...is it some sort of secret?" he asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Liv didn't really feel uncomfortable, because since she had officially left Tyki and brought Luci to live with her at the Order, things had gotten much better for her. Whatever happened between her and Jacob was history, and she thought nothing of it, "No," she laughed a little, "We were just staying with my parents for a few weeks. Like a little vacation."

Jacob relaxed a bit seeing the comfort with which liv spoke. "oh! that must have been fun for Luci" he offered and smiled his childish grin. "Oh... wait.. you...still have parents?" he asked, realizing he'd never thought to ask her about them. His own family history, and it being what it was and how he burned his past long ago, usually led him to avoid the topic of family. "what is your family like liv?" he asked and lay back, propping himself on his elbows and looking up at her, his legs stretched out in front of himself.

"It was. She loves visiting them, probably because of how my mother spoils her. Yes..I still have parents. They're..a lot like me, I guess..even though I was adopted. But I was adopted when I was a baby, so I don't remember my real parents or anything..not that I ever cared to," she explained.
