Chrysant All I've managed to take away from the US debates is that it seems to be more about slagging off the other person than it as actually showing why you should be President... I can't bring myself to watch anything that has Trump in it for longer than 30 seconds. I don't even know what I will do if he is elected... gonk

God I wish it was that easy. gonk Then again if there was a flat tax...I wouldn't have a job. 4laugh Tax law is crazy. Every rule has an exception. Every exception has an exception. And sometimes the exceptions to the exceptions have exceptions. I always like when I run across a tax law you know they had to make because somebody tried to get away with doing something totally weird. My favorite tax law is if you are doing something illegal like selling drugs/prostituting if you claim that income they won't report you to any other authority. In fact, they will let you deduct some of your business expenses in some circumstances! IRS doesn't care HOW you get the money, they just want you to pay tax on it.

Ahah, what a day. sweatdrop It was getting toward the end of the work day and things were winding down, when there was a sudden loud sound like an explosion that made the building shake.
Ran up front and somebody had plowed through the front of the building with a truck. Took out a huge chunk of brick wall and our front door. It was incredibly lucky nothing was going on; if anybody had been near the front desk in the waiting room, they'd probably be dead. Huge chunks of brick flew over the reception counter, but somehow managed not to hit any of our receptionists.
Ugh.
