3.14 SO I WANNA PERSONAL LIFE RANT FOR A MOMENT. So, last year I started seeing a doctor for ADD. I got to a point in my life where I couldn't concentrate on anything...couldn't remember anything...zero motivation. I realized I have probably had ADD as a teen/kid but I never realized it. And it was probably the cause of a lot of my depression and anxiety issues. So I get on a medication that is known to help with focus-- Wellbutrin. Okay, it works AWESOME for 6 months. Then it loses effect and I am back to having no focus. Get the medication upped. Then about a month ago...it stops working for me again. But it is worse. I'm starting to have bad anxiety...I can't sit down to do homework...I can't get motivated to clean or eat. I go to the doctor today and she told me that if I wanted any more help I would have to go to Psych. Okay...no big deal. But she made me feel like I was making it up to get to adderall or ritalin or something. stare She told me that it was unlikely that people get diagnosed with ADD as an adult which I know is BS. I have read a lot about this--talked to other people--and a lot of people don't know they have it until they are an adult. She said my problems were anxiety related and wanted to up another med I take for anxiety which I am not a huge fan of in higher doses. So I said no thanks. ANYWAY. She made me feel like somebody who has gone through a complicated 1+ year plot just to get some adderall. I go to the psych on Tuesday so hopefully...they can actually help me. crying Doctors sometimes. =/ I've definitely heard of lots of people who never got diagnosed until adulthood; it seems to be a pretty well-established presentation, especially in women, so that is such a weird claim.
I hope the appointment went well, though, and they're getting things sorted out for you!

Peppermint Elf 3.14 ...but how about that Mystic Messenger? I finished 707's plot and lost motivation. The epilogue is where there's a lot of stuff going on, but I lack hearts to buy new chapters. I'm also cheap, so waking up at 3am to do a chapter is really wearing on me. I'll probably go back (just so I can get the hearts to finish the epilogue), but I doubt I'll finish anyone else's plot. sad Aw, really?? I'm just finished Yoosung and am starting Jaehee. I almost always miss the 1am chats, but I wake up before 7am (regardless) so I usually do not miss the 3am chats. But Chertiz has been giving out hourglasses like crazy so I have about 150. And I use my Google Survey rewards to buy more if needed. I haven't spent any actual money on it yet. razz I am still mad that you don't get to have a romantic story with Jaehee though. scream

I hope the appointment went well, though, and they're getting things sorted out for you! It actually didn't go...amazingly well? I don't think the doctor/psych I saw really knew anything about it. She told me I would have to do some evaluations...then I could take an online test...which may or may not be covered by my insurance...putting an actual diagnosis months away. I'm not against a computer test but she didn't give me confidence she knew what she was doing with the disorder even if I was diagnosed. So I decided to set up an appointment with a different doctor who specializes in it. I just kinda assumed any psych would know how to spot ADHD without needing a computer test...but apparently not. So, I am hoping this new NEW guy can give me some insight. He went to the same college I go to now so. He is probably cool.

Ugh, that's too bad. sad It seems like something people should know about, but it sounds like it's not uncommon that it goes that way. I hope the next appointment with the new doctor goes much better.

Last time I logged in, they gave me enough hourglasses to finish the rest of my epilogue and half the of the next! I'm kinda glad they're wrapping up the loose ends of the plot there.
As for Jaehee, honestly, her ending is probably the most realistic. 707 was practically dying without me by day 6. xd I'm assuming the others are the same way. sweatdrop

I got to the end of the 2nd epilogue on Mystic Messenger. Almost all the ends were wrapped up and 707's end was sweet and well deserved. I give it 1.75 thumbs up. xd
(Kinda wanting to get the bad endings for 707. I'm at the end and missing 6 pictures still.)

Oh man, I don't know how much anyone else is into politics, but I have been glued to the news all weekend. This debate could be really interesting or a spectacular disaster. It's a little sad that it seems likely to be the latter, but I can't look away.

The few times I looked up, I was kinda shocked to see Trump "stalking" Hillary from behind.
As someone who only listened, Trump seemed to not do so bad. His sniffling tho... emotion_0A0 Their constantly going over time limit was also pretty distracting. As was their not staying on subject.
Not the best debate, but I think it could've gone worse. Those Trump zingers, tho.. XD If nothing else, that boy's got spunk!

But yeah. I was half expecting Trump to have some kind of nuclear-level meltdown, so it went better than it could have.

All I've managed to take away from the US debates is that it seems to be more about slagging off the other person than it as actually showing why you should be President...

We shouldn't trust people to make decisions, they tend to make very bad, ill-informed decisions.

No offense, but I was really hoping people in the US would learn from that, but I'm still worried.
I am 100% ready for our perfect, logical, robot overlords.

I am 100% ready for our perfect, logical, robot overlords. Well it's going great for the people who voted for it so far - hate crimes of all types are up, £ at the lowest it's been for like... 150 years, we'll still be paying into the EU's budget without any of the benefits, the economy is looking rather shaky due to the value of the £. Good times. I too am ready for our superior robot overlords. Er, I mean... beep boop boop beep beep.
