Corri shakes his head, not like that can be seen over the phone, "No, the weather's pretty terrible. Ruby said I was going to slep over, so I think that'd be easiest. I just wanted to let you know what was up."

"Oh." Billy replies, his spirits falling. He's not going to remind Cor that their mom is gone... but he had hoped Corri would remember... and since he's still at work, Ruby's house is rather nearby...

"Yeah... I don't really have much else to say..." Corri would have liked to end the call with 'love you' or something like that, but not so easy with Ruby nearby, "Goodnight."

Corri hangs up, and goes back to Ruby. He points at one of the dvds, "That one next."

Ruby grins and pops it into the dvd player. Then they have a happy horror filled non-sexual night.
And Billy sulks, and prolly gets depressed drunk.

Corrigan sleeps quite politely on the couch that night, and then by late morning the next day, it's much nicer out, and he walks home.

And it's sunday, so the boys have the day off. Also, their mom isn't home till late that night. Billy is awake now, nursing his hangover.

Corrigan gets home. and starts making lunch, cuz it's around that time, and he was expecting billy to whine cuz he hadn't been there to make supper for him the night before.

When lunch is in a position to cook itself without needing much supervision, he goes to Billy's room, to tell him that he's home and making food and stuff.
