Zephyr Moon haha... yeah, it's fun to get the steal: weapon attack really early into the game and get all of the steal abilities and rare items early on
what's also fun is going into the battle tourney mission with moogles and humans with steal: exp
other guys hit you... they get like 40 exp then you stun them and steal it back
easy exp XD
i don't have a visual boy advance though, i just play the legal version on the GBA XD
fwee I -gots- da legal version, played on my DS - but my DS, I hath entrusted to my little cousin, since his GBA got stolen by some a*****e [30 years older than he. :Toad:] Thus - I emulate, whut. domokun Plus, having a built-in Codebreaker/Gameshark set-up makes modding the game much easier.

Bah. I've never played FFTA or whatever. Just FFT. I'm just talking because he pretty much trumps everything else existing in the game.
I dunno. I've heard FFTA was good... but I kinda liked how FFT was a bit darker and grittier than you usually see. Not as whimsical, more down to earth with it's fantasy.

I'd say, if you combined FFT's plot with FFTA's system, but gave it more difficulty & quests/characters along the lines of Tactic's / the monsters being able to join your party permanetely - you'd have a perfect game.

HoH has started.
HoH > GTB.
Real life > HoH > GTB
Don't expect my posting in response to be as punctual as it usually is, even when there's something going on.

HOH - GTB ----------------------------- Activity: [X] [ ] Interactivity: [X] [ ] Balance: [X] [ ] Diversity: [ ] [X] Type: Teams versus Solo. Character Development: While whole-heartedly possible, due to the fact that teams have to be factored into at HoH & two postees can't just go "Well, I guess we can do this for our match.." because there's more than just two folks' having to agree - plot development wise for a character, GTB has just a little more potential. Management Activity: Eh. Clash gave up his role of iron-clad leader perse', rarely see Anonymoo around OOC, and Jello, rather than try to support GTB or improve on it or, Hell, try to spark some interest here - you just give not-so-subliminal advertisements to HoH & proclaim it better every other post. HoH, on the other hand, is active in staff, though so was GTB at a time. Advantage: Null. Structure: HoH is a little more confined on characters in terms that, you can't have abilities/techniques that are multi-potent. [I.E. A guy can't have the ability to form undefined ice structure & apply said element of 'freezing' to other attacks. It has to be a defined ability, I.E. "Ice Ball" or something like that.] Makes it so people can't pull things out of their asses on character skills, but it also can semi-kill originality on "ability" usage. Advantage: GTB. Activity: Hoh >>> GTB horridly. Spectating's more rare here at GTB than I care for, and the non-match topics often die off near instantly. Where as, HoH suffers no such issues and, teams being involved, obviously has more people interacting per topic.
All in all: I personally, reading over HoH, find GTB more potentially entertaining, but on the road it's on.. HoH has a definite set of advantages & superiority. Al-halthough, I just hope it doesn't lose that 'spark' of activity.
Still, if given the choice again, I'd probably take GTB over HoH. Although GTB is a hollow shell of what it's former-self promised..
My opinions. domokun And dammit, Gunz.

This is not true. They're worried about omni-potence (or, really, just being too powerful in general) not multi-potence. I meant in terms of how my prioritiees stood, but... yeah, sure, whatever.

Psychofish This is not true. They're worried about omni-potence (or, really, just being too powerful in general) not multi-potence. I meant in terms of how my prioritiees stood, but... yeah, sure, whatever. I know. I lump that in with the "pulling things out of your a**" block. But.. I fail to see how that deals with the 'never ending stamina' problem in matches. Or the 'I never take a hit.' problem. Rather than limit omni-potency, I feel it just kills creativity in how a technique can be employed - since by making it limited to a list like that, you -have- to do it like that. And while that does limit ridiculous things involving said abilities - it also makes things horribly linear, and discourages creativity mid-match. But, that's my opinion.
And I figured. My post wasn't really in response to your's - I just felt like ranting for a sec. domokun
[h x c]: Very glad to hear, good yer' back.

They don't need a move list.
I made one, but I also stated that wasn't all.
They want a general idea of how far you can take what you do. Examples are a good way to do that, unless you want to crunch numbers and give them a full science behind it.
As for the usual problems, there's only one real way to deal with that. Have cranky-no-nonsense judges. We've got those.
