Hinote Tosatsu I'd always heard FF8 was a joke. But then, I've also heard it was pretty awesome... Now that I think about it, the one who said it was bad hadn't played it, while the one that liked it had... A lot of people write it off because it's TOO different to the stock-standard RPG gameplay styles that previous FFs had employed. Also, many people refuse to look beyond the boy-meets-girl aspect of the plot.

I liked FFI and FFVII. I disliked XIII (despite the fact that I played very little of it) for its clear as mud stroyline.

Not too late for the banner contest!!! Even though Dante's banner was featured on the announcement, that doesn't mean the contest is over! You still have a chance to win 100k!!!
XRP Banner Design Contest!
What? Alright you guys, here it is. The new XRP subforum is set to open soon and I know a lot of people are excited. I am going to give 100k to the best designed banners that I see sent in to me. I need one banner for the Red Brand, one for the Blue Brand, and one for XRP in general. Some slogans that can be used are "iXtreme Role-Play" or "Are you Xtreme enough?" or maybe you could even make up your own. So this is 100k! For something so simple!
When/Where? You guys have until the official launch of XRP to submit your banners to me. Keep in mind that you don't know when that day will be so you should start now!!!!

It is actually vry good, I haven't beaten the whole game yet ( I've only ever made it to disc three ) But I honestly have to say it is one of the best FF games I've ever played. Definately beats the hell out of most of the games they come out with now. ( Although graphics are lacking. )but that is to be expected of a 7year+ old game.
