Dr. Fomite Chrysant Dr. Fomite Chrysant I levelled up on LK and got 500 million gold... Me from like 8 years ago just went "WTF WAS THAT" Also, Fallout 4 is good fun biggrin
Dogmeeeaaaaaat. crying *grabby hands*You... You can make the dog wear goggles, a bandana and special dog armour. It's... Beautiful.
I've already bought the game. Now I just need to buy the system during the Black Friday sales. sweatdrop (Aaaaand I might be getting a new TV too, because why not. Mine is old and I can't read the writing in games because it's too tiny. I've got my eye set on a 60" and I have vacation next week, so I have big plans of setting up a shiny new TV, PS4, and Fallout 4 until I drop.)You won't regret it. I bought it on the Tuesday, and by the Thursday evening I had just shy of 24 hours played... sweatdrop

I was going to get a fancy new TV today, but got called back in to work for an emergency just as I was at the store, and I didn't have it in me to go back again. Going to see if I can snag a PS4 on Black Friday, then maybe I'll get the TV later and figure it out, or just live with my li'l screen for now.
Gamestop had Until Dawn marked down, so I grabbed a copy today in preparation, even if I probably won't have any time for it with Fallout 4 waiting. >>

Chrysant Are the Black Friday savings in America that good? For some reason Black Friday has become a thing over here in England too now, and people go batshitcrazy for like £20 off a £1000 TV... And then it's price will drop by like 25% in December. BUT I SAVED £20 AT THE TIME.
But the PS4 Uncharted bundle's supposed to be available for $299 (regular price $349) from a lot of retailers on BF, so I've been holding out 'til then to get one. I almost caved when Amazon had the Uncharted bundle with Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Final Fantasy Type-0 for the regular $349 price, but I thought the deal would last longer than it did, and it was over before I made up my mind.
(Oh, just peeked and it looks like Amazon is already offering the $299 deal. Very tempting... D: But it wouldn't arrive 'til Saturday at the earliest, probably toward late afternoon. If I buy it in person tomorrow morning I can start playing right away, but I have to deal with the crowds and the risk that it sells out quickly. Ugh. Edit: OK, found where Amazon says the deal ends Nov 28, and it would still arrive Saturday even if I order tomorrow afternoon. Guess I'll take my chances tomorrow at 5am, and use Amazon as a back up if that fails. >> Plan is made!)

I was going to start earlier, but then I heard about the shooting in Colorado Springs. Fortunately, my family is all safe, but the site is across the street from the VA clinic where my father goes. I've been watching the news coverage all day, but it sounds like they've finally got the shooter.

But I'm finally working on Fallout 4! I realized when I went to set up last night that my old TV doesn't even have HDMI input. Hargh. So I went out & got that new TV after all. Spent all of last night rearranging the whole room so I could set it up; finally wrapped up around 2am.
Now with my late start, I've spent like the last hour just playing with the customizing options. gonk Some day I will start actual gameplay.

Oh dear - at least it was kinda cheaper than usual to get the TV too though... Right? sweatdrop Why am I not surprised at the time you've spent customising though? razz I just jumped straight in though the UI is a pretty ugly colour at the moment... Will have to change that soon.
