Lavi waved away the concern, finding that having someone wrapped around his torso helped fend off the cold quite effectively. "You'll just have to stay there as my human jacket." As she reached for his lamp he held it at arm's length out of reach, shaking his head. "I've only been here five minutes and there's already someone trying to own my soul, or whatever happens to genies when someone gets their lamp. I'm not a leprechaun, though, so no wishes for you~"
Trying to peer over the crowd, Lavi surveyed the rest of the festival and the activities. There was a large tub filled with water and apples that had numerous people dipping their heads in to catch a piece of fruit with their mouths, a long table on which carved pumpkins of all shapes and sizes were displayed, ready to be judged in the pumpkin carving competition, and a number of games especially the kids seemed to be enjoying. According to a wooden sign pointing towards the fields there had also been a spooky maze set up. "Hm..." Lavi mused, stuffing his lamp back in his pocket, "do any of you guys want to look around town a little? Or does Jerry need all hands on deck to guard his cake?"
