((YAY RANDOM INTRODUCTION POSTS WHAT.))
The crisp, fall air smelled of dried leaves and delicious food as the local towns festival had moved into full swing. The Halloween festival had become a local tradition that many of the neighboring towns had heard word of, traveling some distances for an evening of fun and a little bit of scare. For children and adults alike it was an opportunity to dress up, with the shop owners embracing the chance to sell their wares and food late into the evening. The Order was no exception to knowledge of the festival happening not too far from their castle home. To some Halloween in general was utterly appealing—after all, the occult was far too real for the members of The Black Order, far more real than it was for the general public.
Silvia Mirabelli couldn’t help herself. When Jerry had mentioned that he had taken the day off to participate in the fall festival by competing in one of the cooking competitions, Sil couldn’t help but jump at the idea to accompany him. While the Order members had no doubt at all that Jerry would be the winner of the competition, it was all meant in good fun—he had eventually decided to make a pumpkin cake so huge and ornate that at least a hundred people were going to be able to have pieces. Sil had come along to help watch and make sure no wandering fingers ended up in the frosting, she decided a decently scary costume would help her scare off the kiddos who might want to take a premature bite. What better way was there to scare them off than by threatening to take a bite of the young offenders?
As she twisted one of her curls around her finger watching Jerry put the finishing touches on his giant cake masterpiece, Sil wondered if dying her hair black had been too much dedication towards her night time task. The normally warm mahogany curls were the color of spilled ink, pinned up into luxurious curls on one side of her head. The false elongated canines glowed eerily white against her tanned skin, coupled with a snarling line of blood. She had just gotten done hissing playfully at a group of kids who had been looking to get scared, laughing quietly as they ran away with screaming giggles. “I hope you’re almost ready to cut that thing up… I think the kids are going to create a torch mob and stake me with forks.“
Jerry, who was dressed up as... of course, a dead chef with a fake butcher knife sticking out of his stomach, laughed.

Having gotten over their respective illnesses a few days beforehand, Kyle had found that he didn't exactly have a costume to speak of. Kiah hadn't planned on going in costume at all, but at the vague mention of how hilariously ironic it would be to be a vampire hunter as Sil's opposite, Johnny had quickly gotten to work. To say the blonde was surprised when he handed her the costume would be an understatement, and the pure excitement on his face caused her to smile warily and hoof it back to her room. She was happy to see that the scanty material actually covered most of her scars, but she couldn't help trying to wrap the cape around her torso to no avail as they walked through the town.
"I can't believe you got such a cool costume... he never even asked me if I wanted one! And it's my birthday today!" Kyle grumped, crossing his arms and examining the shop windows. His mood was abnormally sour that day, and it had only gotten worse when he heard Jerry wouldn't be making a personal cake for him. Heck, he might not even get a slice! As they approached Jerry's stand, Kyle split off and skulked to the nearest costume store, ready to find the scariest one in order to terrify all of the small children and get some enjoyment out of the day.
"I didn't ask for it, Kyle...," Kiah frowned after the young man and sighed, quickly flipping to a smile before putting a hand near the garter holding her other pistol. It was an embarrassing add-on, but she had to admit that it looked good. "You better watch out Sil! If that mob doesn't get you, I will!"

((*Is still dead* Ugh......I AM A ZOMBIE!!!!! All that aside.....I'm loosing!!!!! .....I DIED HERE!))Hyber, as a person from Amestris, had never heard of such a holiday as Hollows eve before, but for her, it seemed perfectly legit. Standing in the halls, she had heard the news of such a lovely festival, and decided to take part, for it seemed to be such a lovely occasion for it. Stepping outside of the Black order again for the first time in a long while was perfectly fine for her. Dressed in an outfit that was wildly similar to one of the exorcists, she made her way in to the town. As she observed the many stands of food, and the people laughing and conversing, she felt a small twinge in her heart. What an event to be spent without one of her friends. She shrugged it off, and went to stand in a crowd surrounding a few tables. It seemed to be a contest of sorts, and being to curious child she was, she decided to watch what would happen.

Rubbing his hands along his bare arms, Lavi was having second thoughts about his Halloween costume of choice, shivering slightly in the chilly October air. He'd decided on his outfit with the usually cozy and warm Common Room in mind as the setting for this year's party, having been so busy the past month he hadn't caught word of Jerry's intentions on joining the fall festival's cooking competition. He didn't really have time to find a new costume and he wanted to cheer his favorite cook in the world on, so he'd ventured into the cool evening air nonetheless.
The festival was bustling and lively, but it didn't take him long to spot his goal, Jerry's giant pumpkin cake towering over the crowd. He maneuvered his way through an array of nightmarish creatures, nearly tripping over a trio of tiny witches running past squealing on their brooms. "That looks amazing, Jerry. Don't get any blood on it, though," he chuckled when he'd reached the table the cook was working at, grinning at the bloody knife in his stomach. Noticing Kiah there as well he gave her a wave and then frowned sympathetically at her bare costume, his hands flying to his own arms again. "Aren't you cold? That looks even colder than my costume..."
Turning to Sil, he stared at her for a few seconds before he realized what was different about her. "Did you..." Lavi paused, reaching out to run a curl through his fingers to make sure she wasn't wearing a wig, "Did you dye your hair?" He asked incredulously, his hand returning to his arm. His own hair was up in its usual way, held in place by a green bandana with gold markings matching the rest of his costume.

Aka pouted as he made his way through the crowded streets, usually he would be jumping for joy to be in such a festive place however... thinking back to what had occurred before he left the Order alone made his pout deepen. He had showed up and finally begged Yuuka into going to the festival in town with him however when they were all dressed up, Yuuka was so cute in her Red Riding Hood costume, and left her room a Finder spotted them and complimented her with a head pat too no less. In a huff of embarrassment she had locked herself in her room. Not after giving that poor man a punch... He though amusingly. He couldn't blame the man though and his own wolf-man outfit hid his ears and tail perfectly. What a shame, he'd need to remember to bring her back some candy.
After a long walk and checking out of shops Aka spotted the group of exorcists he had seen with Yuuka many a time along with- "Miss Kiah!~" Aka ran over arms waving in excitement, some people giving the man a few strange looks.

Sil's voice was light and jovial as he saw Kiah approaching, but the moment she saw Kyle her heart fell with g-force down into her stomach. The prank she and Kiah had pulled on him a few weeks ago was not far from her mind, and now she felt like waiting for the axe to fall. The worry over what Kyle might do in retaliation had been causing her now end of anxiety, and she wondered if she should have warned Lavi about what had happened. However, she let out a noticeably relieved breath as he split off from his closest friend. "Bring it on Van Helsina," Sil said jovially, baring her fangs. "I'll suck you dry and use your ashes for powder~"
At the sight of little Hyber, Sil waved to the young woman across the crowd, motioning for her to come over and join the group. She had been here and there around the Order, their new mysterious occupant. The Order had always been a bit of an orphanage for those lost with no where else to go who were tied deeply into some sort of strange occult that sent them apart from normal people. "Hey! Don't stand over there all on your own! You're part of us, now--"
Her words tapered off at the end, utterly distracted by the reflection of lanterns on smooth, pale abs that she thought were awfully familiar. As her brown eyes locked on said stomach, her eyes lifted slowly to look at the face that was accompanying them, her lips opening slightly in surprise at the sight of Lavi dressed in a masculine, but revealing way. Color flooded to her cold cheeks and she hoped it had gone mostly unnoticed in the low lighting that lit her features. "Ahh, a leprechaun genie... Aren't you a little tall to fit in a lamp?"
The little tug on her hair made her tilt her head slightly. "It'll wash out after a while~ I wouldn't get too close or I might..." She growled a little and let out a more aggressive cry, leaping onto his back with a violent jump. She pretended to bite at his neck with little snaps, though her teeth never got close enough to his skin to actually bite him.

Seeing Miss Sil, Hyber smiled a little, her violet eyes brightening with mirth before attempting to cross the large crowd of costumed people. Nearly falling over twice, and getting stepped on, and her outfit was nearly ruined, she finally made it across, and saw other familiar, and not so familiar faces. She smilled, again, and dusted off her blue and black outfit. "Ah, hello there! I was just looking around, when I saw this! What a mysterious holiday this is! I've never seen anything like this..." Was what she said when she finally made it over. "Is this a common occurrence?" She her dark eyes darted around, seeing everybody in their fancy costumes. She laughed a little bit. "This is really fun already!"

"Hm? I thought this was just my size~" Lavi lifted the smooth, golden oil lamp sticking out of his pocket by the handle with one finger and twirled it around a bit. His face darkened a little as her choice of words brought back unpleasant memories. "And don't remind me of leprechauns..." As she jumped on his back he gripped the lamp more tightly so it wouldn't get knocked out of his hands, his wailing 'nooo' losing its effect as it was cut short by laughter. "I'm cold already, I need my blood."
From the corner of his eye he noticed a flash of red as the boy he'd occasionally seen around Chaoe and Kiah burst through the crowd. His intended goal was obvious and Lavi made sure he wasn't anywhere in the way in fear of getting knocked over in the other redheads enthusiasm.
Lavi turned the two of them around at the sound of a new voice, recognizing the new addition as the girl Liv had talked to him about after her birthday party. The girl with the strange history he still hadn't heard the verdict on, but if still walking around freely probably posed no threat. "Hello." He returned the greeting with a smile, watching her with interest as she corroborated her unlikely story of coming from this unknown place by apparently having never heard of Halloween. "A common occurrence...? Not really, it's just once a year."

"Haha, hey Lavi! It's not that bad out here... I just wish my top was a little longer...," Kiah laughed, resisting the urge to wrap her arms across her stomach, "So you're supposed to be a genie?" At the sound of a familiar redhead, she spun around and returned the wave with a large smile, as it had been awhile since she'd seen her 'bro'. "Aka! How have you been? Oh wow... I like your costume!" she exclaimed, secretly wanting to scratch his adorable ears.
"I've been training to take your kind down since I was young~. Don't think you'll take me down so easily," she grinned, watching the older woman latch onto Lavi, showing little concern for his safety in the presence of a vampire. Kiah's attention was soon on the new arrival as she nearly killed herself running through the crowd, grimacing as she was close to being squashed on the ground. She'd seen the girl around, and had been informed of who she was, but she hadn't had the chance to properly meet the strange girl.
"Hello! Hyber, right? I don't think we've ever met!" Kiah greeted with a smile, holding her hand out. "I'm Kiah, by the way. Komui's assistant. You didn't get hurt out there, right?" The blonde woman blinked at Hyber, remembering that she thought she was from some strange land. She nodded along with Lavi's explanation and added, "Halloween is every year on the 31st of October... you've never heard of it?"
